This shop is definitely designed for Temple University students, and that’s about it. I don’t understand why anyone else would come here to get frozen yogurt, since it’s about as average as it gets. The flavors taste a bit weird, and there’s usually one flavor that’s out of order. The toppings are usually pretty fresh, but half the time the fruit looks like it needs to go in the trash. The staff here is super nice, and they do accept Diamond Dollars, which is perfect for Temple students. They also stay open fairly late, so it’s a good place to go when you need a late night treat.

I always passed this place in passing. So one day while with my son i decided ill give them a try. First thing first it was only two frozen yogurt machines working.(Bummer) secondly they where flavors im not a fan of. I chosed not to get anything. My son settled on the dutch chocolate which seem to be the only normal flavor available. After tops it was like 5.00… Are you kidding me? I could have gotten a half gallon for that price. Let alone a flavor that is worth our wild. My son didnt care too much for it anyway he kept complaining about a weird taste. I tasted it and it did. I just threw it away. What a waste. I usally go to a place in abington. Ill continue to go to there its worth the ride.

I went into this wonderful place with my friend feening for something sweet… as soon as I told the manager that we never had frozen yogurt he was happy to meet our needs. He gave us every sample and educated us about them all and what tastes good with them. We were so full from all the samples we couldn’t buy one to go. But ever since that visit I’ve been wanting to go back with more friends and virgins to the frozen yogurt sensation. I never thought frozen yogurt could taste so good. Plus there’s a lounge to relax and enjoy the sweet treat!

The frozen yogurt is not too sweet plus less(or no) fat. Very tasty! I like the manager here a lot because it’s so fun to talk with him. Good to ask him which flavor of frozen yogurt is good to mix with.

The sweetest staff and a very clean environment. Having this shop on campus has definitely brightened up my late nights of studying. The usual self serve frozen yogurt shop, but they always manage to have the best flavors! Try blueberry and cake batter blended. You won’t regret it.

Maybe I’m just not a fan of the over-indulgent FroYo fad, but I think this place is «only OK.» I wish they had more plain flavors(chocolate, strawberry, vanilla and twists of those combos) rather than so many funky ones. Salted pretzel candy crunch whatever really isn’t my thing. What’s the point of having so many toppings if your frozen yogurt itself already tastes like an emulsified version of all the toppings. I also wish they had tinier cups. I get it, the bigger the cup, the more likely that people will fill it and you’ll make more money, but I wish that was different. The cost is the cost. It’s expensive. For one cup filled half way with only one topping it was $ 4.00. I could get an entire pint of Ben and Jerry’s for that amount. Temple students who have Diamond Dollars(AKA their parents money) will probably keep this business afloat!

Luv’n Spoonful has an extremely Temple student & local residents friendly establishment run by a very charming and genuine couple. This yogurt establishment has great options(I think 8?) and an endless toppings bar. You can create a healthy fruit yogurt dessert, or a guilty-pleasure yogurt topped with candy, caramel, fluff… DON’T FORGETTOLOOKBEHINDYOU! I sometimes have buyer’s remorse when I realize I forgot the high table of sauces, salty toppings… the things I wish I considered when creating my masterpiece! –This of course is reflective on personal awareness, rather than the establishment’s fault!(disclaimer.) Over all, I support this business located in the heart of Temple’s campus on the bottom floor of the Edge building, across the street from The Draught Horse and other nearby highlights.

The only way to really describe this place: MADDECENT. The flavors are awesome. The toppings are abundant, though some a tad stale. I don’t see why anyone would travel up here outside the Temple student body, but for students, this is a really, really good froyo establishment. Will come back!

Finally a froyo place at Temple, this spot offers I believe 6 to 8 flavors and has an abundance of toppings whether you like chocolate sauce, brownie bits, nuts, fruits, cereal or candy.
