When your friend is wandering aimlessly at Liberty Bell Market, don’t be tempted to buy SCRATCHOFFLOTTERYTICKETS here. Or anything else for that matter. First off, if say, you win five dollars… They will claim they only have twenties in the drawer and cannot cash in your ticket. They will also not allow you to use your ticket to purchase items in their store. Lame. This place blows anyway. Their merchandise is old, and honestly, this is the type of place that makes you not want to ‘shop small’ and support locally owned businesses. Next time I’ll go to Old City Market.

I really like this little market. I walk by twice a day to and from work, and it’s a great place to pick up that one thing you forgot from the grocery store or milk or whatever else you need. They have a large selection of dry goods, a decent amount of produce, a big cold case with milk, juices, etc. and then all the magazines, cigarettes and liberty bell trinkets you’d expect from a little market. The staff is super friendly, and the fact that they always remember me and say hello keeps me coming back. I agree with the other reviewers that it’s a little on the pricey side, but that’s the cost you pay for the convenience of a convenience mart. Note: bring cash, there’s a $ 10 limit on cards.

Not sure why I had such high hopes for this place. Buy stuff here if you like food that’s been sitting on shelves for a long time.

I love this place, they have the best shaved ice, and the only place in town I have seen the bottled water I love Mountain Valley Spring Water… great location across the street from my favorite restaurant Cuba Libre!!!

So I’ve been here twice. The first time was alright, but the second time my 5 hour energy and Frappachino(yeah, I was pretty tired) set me back $ 9.00. $ 9?!? C’mon guys, that would have been $ 6 anywhere else in the city. Maybe $ 7 at Olde City Food Market, but still… The space is attractive, and the selection is pretty good, but the prices are, in my experience, excessive.

This market is great!!! It has products I usually go to Whole Foods or Wegman’s for at the same price! Also wide selection of fresh fruit and veggies, plants and flowers, and healthy frozen entrees. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices are fair.
