Located near the LA fitness on Grant. Storefront is clean with modern décor and furnishings. I ordered the Italiano which is the standard Italian hoagie but with sharp provolone, prosciutto, roasted red peppers and parmesan cheese on a seeded roll. They have something called the South Philly and its more of a traditional Italian. I honestly like my rolls a little harder. Not a huge fan of Primos but I think they’re better for around the same price. You get more meat with their hoagies as well. My sister ordered the chicken cheese steak and there was no seasoning.

Super personal as I walked in. Explained the menu. I got the Italiano and It was delicious. They made it to order exactly like I requested. They also have a pepper bar that you can get your own fixings! Love that. I will be back and they deliver

I did not have an issue with the rolls. I ordered a chicken cheesesteak and felt it was not my money’s worth. I took my friend there for his first experience and I was embarrassed that i raved about this place to get poorly portioned food. I will be going somewhere else. Fries were food thou!

The staff was very friendly and the store was very clean which is very important to me. I ordered a turkey and cheese hoagie and it was very good. The roll was very fresh and had great texture. I don’t know what the other reviews were talking about with the roll texture being bad. They must have went on a bad day.

I have to echo the sentiments of the other reviewers. My experience while visiting other Lee’s joints has always, always been satisfying. Never had a bad meal so I was stoked to see that a Lee’s opened right next to the Supermarket I visit every week. Unfortunately my excitement was short lived. Their bread is baked on the premises and it is NOT good. I laughed when I read another reviewers comments about Subway having better rolls because that is how I felt. My first visit was blah, run of the mill, nothing special. On my second visit the chicken cheesesteak I had was bland and the fried onions I ordered on it were raw! I realize that the place opened not too long ago and that is why I went three times. But you would think the Lee’s organization would have ultimate say over what represents their brand. This location needs to get their act together quick. It would be a shame to see it closed, however it will not be counting on my patronage going forward.

I’ve too been a Lee’s fanatic for 20 years going back to South Philly and Cottman Ave locations. More recently I’ve frequented the Abington location. ½ a chicken cheesesteak and cheese fries is my usual. Mmmmm Delicious!!! Needless to say when I heard about Grant Ave opening, I was ecstatic as I live around the corner. Well, my first visit was unremarkable. The roll was horrendous. Almost as if they’re half baked off premises and finished off on premises. It was doughy, chewy mess and looked under baked. It didn’t have that crisp hearth oven baked look that most of your good sandwich joints have. Even though extremely disappointed, I figured, OK opening week growing pains. I went back for visit #2 today after work for my usual. Well, this visit was far worse than my first visit. I can’t even explain these rolls. This roll was barely baked and looked as well as tasted inedible. The chicken was also marinated or cooked with some sort of reddish orange sauce that soaked the inside of what was supposed to be a roll. Totally disgusting and inedible after a few bites. I’m not one to ever complain or make a scene but not only was I disappointed but I was disgusted. Not what I’ve come to expect from the Lee’s brand. I mean is this Lee’s from this planet? These rolls are really indescribable! I mean Subway’s rolls are better. The store is beautiful. Plenty of tables, flat screen TV’s. As previously mentioned in another review, this isn’t meant to hurt as much as help. I truly hope this Lee’s gets their act together. I’ll have to hear/read about it before I go back to Grant Ave to experiment again. This life long Lee’s fan is back off to Abington to get his Lee’s fix.

I have been a Lee’s Hoagie House fanatic since my first cheesesteak on Cheltenham Ave in 1992 when I was 9 years old. I have been patronizing many locations in the area from then until now. The sandwich i purchased from here was an absolute horrible sandwich. On top of the fact it was priced a lot higher than other Lee’s Hoagie Franchises in the Philadelphia & Suburban area. So I paid more here for less quality? That is a bad equation. To their defense this location just opened, so I am writing this to hopefully help them. First, they need to change the amount of meat they put in their sandwich. When i was handed the bag i thought maybe it was only an empty roll in the bag. It had no weight, i noticed why when I got home. Little to no meat. Also the roll was not that good, it seemed like it was raw. Very different than other Lee’s franchises. I went about 3 weeks ago. Again this is a new franchise, so I might give another shot. But with their prices the way they are I may have to wait awhile.

Very Disappointing. Lousy rolls. Nothing like the other Lee’s I’ve been to for so many years.
