I had the lemonade tea and the avocado toast. The avocado toast had wayyyyy too much salt. It tasted like the ocean. The lemonade tea was also disappointing. The ambience and the interior are well curated.

Consistent, place for a light meal on the late afternoon or early evening. It looks like breakfast is their thing, but we’ve only ever dined here later — which guarantees quick service and lots of attention. They we’re accommodating with substitutons and suggestions. Atmosphere: It’s got that communal feel, with long tables and long benches and it’s lined with windows looking out onto both streets — very open. Their breads are great, coffee is generous(individually served in small pots and drink out of small bowls, and menu is light with many things served open face on today like pole caught tuna tar tar, or roasted turkey & Avacado.

Home made bread and a great curry chicken salad. Nice inside and outside atmosphere. Ps: the coffee is really great as well!

OK so a little history… about 4 years ago I ran into this place because the pastries were beckoning me through the window. Everything that I’ve had at this place has been made with care the pastries are just the right flakiness that you’d come to expect from a top notch bakery… and if you sit down to eat the attentiveness from the staff is right on point. I love this place. And everything is organic.

This review is for March 28th. LPQ was very affordable. I had the Belgian waffle with whipped cream and jam. Delicious!

Avocado toast is lovely! Tomato and avocado omelette with egg whites was fluffy, seasoned nicely, fresh and generous in sz! Close for those with loved ones in nearby Penn Medicine. Very pleasant atmosphere, French café feeling, and positive attentive service!

I like this bakery has a full dining facility. Prices are a bit expensive but their pastry are so good. Check out the menu for sandwiches and hot food.

I thought this place had a lot of tasty vegan options by non-vegan restaurant standards. I enjoyed the chili and the avocado toast a great deal. The kale salad was unusual because it was adult kale that had not been softened in any way; I probably would not get that again. Our server, Kay(not sure of spelling), was knowledgeable and very helpful.

Four of us had Brunch here. Excellent. Avocado Toast, 3 Bean Chili and Kale Salad was awesome. My daughter had the Belgium Waffle, crispy outside and moist inside, with fresh berries on top. Ham and Gruyère omelette was very nice. I highly recommend this place though portions were medium to small.

Not sure if it’s because I was hungry, but I had the best omelette that I’ve ever had outside of my kitchen. Mainly is because everything is organic and fresh. I ordered the tomato omelette and avocado that comes with toast and a side salad. Very healthy and very tasty!

Not a cheap breakfast but certainly worthwhile. If you’re looking for a nice place to go out and enjoy an absolutely delicious breakfast in a comfortably open space, come here! Thought the herbs de Provencal grilled ham and gruyère was tastier than the crossaint version but both were great. Hands down best Belgian waffle I’ve ever had. The texture was unbeatable. Carrot cake muffin and coffee were great too but for sure I’m coming back for another ham and cheese and a waffle… or three.

As I write this review this place only has an average of 3 stars I’m really not sure why though. I am here for breakfast and it’s pretty busy. The staff is hustling, the food came out in a timely manner and the avocado toast… wow! It was amazing! The atmosphere they created too is very comfortable and lots of natural sunlight. Highly recommend this place.

I ate at Le Pain Quotidien twice. The first time was for lunch about a year ago; I don’t remember what I had but I remember we both enjoyed our meals. The second time was for breakfast last weekend. I had the ham and Gruyère croissant sandwich, and a cup of mixed berries. The sandwich came with a small salad that was nicely/lightly dressed, and I enjoyed my meal. One reason I am giving this 3 stars instead of 4 is because the prices are rather steep and the menu is limited. The breakfast menu has a lot of smaller items, like«porridge», yogurt parfait and cups of fruit. They have a few omelettes and a few other random breakfast«entrees». I wish they offered a few other breakfast sandwich options that were severed on something more substantial and healthier that a croissant. The waitress told us that they make their bread locally, so I am surprised that their bread was mostly featured as a side dish rather than part of an entrée. The other reason I am giving them 3 stars is because the bathroom was really dirty. The toilet seat had a plethora of assorted colored splatters on it, and the toilet paper rolls were hung on the wall about a foot away from the floor so the paper could easily hit the dirty floor if you aren’t careful.

This is a terrible place. The waitstaff are at a level of rudeness that borders on hostility. It’s not clear at all if you order at the counter and then sit down, or sit at a table and have a waitress serve you. And if you accidentally mess it up, they angrily order you to sit at a communal table that is rarely cleaned. This should be a family owned café or bakery. Instead it’s a piece of crap corporate franchise with terrible food and even worse people.

Solid meal. good coffee. Good quality ingredients. Random seating. You could be sitting directly next to a complete stranger. The place is very busy. I had the croissant with Gruyère cheese and ham. Served with nice trio of mustard and a little side salad. Also, the Americana coffee was really delicious once it cooled off. I looked around and many people were ordering soup. The waiter said it’s very popular. Every day there’s a different soup offered. Will try and come back another time and try out soup. If you find seating in the corner, you probably can get some work done there for about an hour and a half other than that they’ll be rushing you out because they need to seating.

I stopped in here while waiting for a date. Overall, the décor and ambience was cute but… my small chai tea latte was $ 5. What?! Crazy prices for an okay drink.

Awesome service! Showed up early one morning to pick up breakfast pastries for work and was greeted by friendly staff that gave great recommendations which turned out to be a hit in the office. My French manager even complimented me on my selections, but I couldn’t take any of the credit. Pastries were phenomenal. While I didn’t get to try them all, I had the coconut macaroon and it was completely addicting. Glad I finally stopped in — I know where to go for a tasty pick-me-up. Will be back!

I had a very unfortunate experience at this location. But I gave it three stars because the food was delicious. The service wasn’t so great. Our waiter had to be prompted for everything which is frustrating when you’re coming in for brunch and the place is empty, so there’s no real reason to be so slow. One of the waiters that brought our dishes wasn’t very polite. So overall the experience was average. Like I said the food is good, so I’d recommend the goat cheese mushroom omelette!

Very delicious and fresh. Loved the hummus! I was truly happy with the service and food… Whenever in Philadelphia I will most definitely stop here.

This café is picturesque and delivers great food with friendly service! I ordered oatmeal with fresh berries. As my best friend and I went through our meal, the waiter checked politely on us several times. This was great because I kept asking for refills and add ons. He delivered everything with a smile and was never late in attending to us. The quality of the food is great. You don’t feel like the chef just threw the food grill to plate at all. This café has a pretty extensive bakery case too! Cookies, muffins, tartlets… My friend and I shared a giant chocolate chip cookie that was soft and filled with milk chocolate chunks. The coffee is bold, not very aromatic but definitely tasty! Bottom line, want a light brunch? This is the place for it. Bring your began friend here because there’s a bunch of vegan friendly options.
