Dr. Wu and Jackie are the best!

I started seeing Dr. Wu in 2014 — her office is clean and very new (massage chair and tv in the exam room, nice little touch.) I enjoy that Dr. Wu really explains to you literally everything you could do ‘in a perfect world’ for your teeth and mouth and then gives you the rundown on what really NEEDS to be done now.
On my first visit, I had a deep cleaning (I had not seen a dentist for a few years (bad experience)), I was fitted for a night guard, and then I had 2 crowns and 2 fillings done in the office over the span of a few months. My dental insurance doesn’t cover the deep cleaning, fluoride, or a lot of crown work but before any work was done they were able to tell me exactly what the cost would be… before doing anything… it was very nice not to get surprise bills in the mail like my previous dentist.
Finally, the actual work was done gently, she asks if you are OK a lot, and pays very close attention to what she is doing. OK she will get water everywhere lol, but it’s worth it.
Today I went in for my 6 month check up and passed with flying colors. I would recommend Dr. Wu to anyone looking for a new dentist. The practice is still small enough to really get a personal touch and quick service.

After 3 years without going to the dentist I finally decided to make my way in at the beginning of the year [2015]. Since I had neglected my teeth for so long I ended up going to her office seven or eight times for a spectrum of treatments [Don’t judge]. I had all my amalgam silver fillings removed and filled with composite resins. The silver fillings were from my childhood and were worn and starting to crack, while removing one of the filling it was discovered that I needed a root canal. Dr. Wu took care of it on the spot, no extra visit needed. I also had my teeth whiten. Dr. Wu’s offers a take home whiting treatment, she makes you custom whiting trays and your first whiting treatment is done at the dental office and the rest are done at home on your own time. At first, I was a little annoyed that I had to take the treatments home instead of an in-​office one time whiting treatment. I’m lazy and I didn’t want to dedicate 15 – 20 mins of my time to whiten my teeth but after the first couple of treatments I could see a significant difference in the color. At home whiting stinks for us lazy people but if I can do it so can you! Believe me, you will not be disappointed. Dr. Wu also gave me great recommendations on how to get the really stained parts of my teeth and she gives you more whitening gel every 6 months after your cleaning visit. I just finished my last visit with a crown and 6 month cleaning and I could be happier with the look and feel of my teeth. I’m still testing out the crown but I know if I have any problems I can call and get seen right away.
If you want someone who is patient and will make sure you are happy with your visit[s], will answer your «dumb» questions and explain what they are doing every step of the way, Dr. Wu and Jackie are the duo to see.

Dr. Wu’s dental practice is the best. The staff are friendly, the office is warm and welcoming. Dr. Wu makes going to the dentist less scary, she’s quick and painless! She also does a great job explaining the procedure as she’s doing the work, and she’s very attentive to making the patient feel comfortable. I highly recommend her practice!

What can I say, It gets no better than Dr. Wu! My eleven year old was hit by a car and is ultimately going to lose her front tooth. Dr. Wu took over her care after her pediatric dentist did a poor job repairing the damage. Dr. Wu made the professional decision to delay treatment as my daughter was traumatized. When she did begin to repair the poor work done by her previous dentist, she took great care to consider her physical and emotional needs. The repair work is done so well that my daughter’s orthodontic assistant didn’t noticed the bonding until I pointed it out. I can’t say enough how grateful I am for Dr. Wu and Jackie. They have taken great care of my daughter!

I have been afraid to go to a dentist due to my past experience with dentist. But Dr. Wu have changed my perspective of dentist through her professional care on my oral health. Her office is nice and clean, and the staffs are very friendly and accommodating. Thanks Prestige Dental

I have never felt the need to write a one star Unilocal!review in my life until I went here. I will preface this by saying I have been one of the weirdos that has looked forward to going to the dentist my whole life. Teeth cleanings have always been enjoyable and I love the way I feel when I leave.
When I left Prestige, I never wanted to go to another dentist again. I now understand why so many people dread the dentist.
The problem starts and ends with Dr. Wu. As a fellow Temple alumni, I was excited to support her. After sitting in the waiting room about 15 minutes, not a big deal, I was taken taken back to a very clean room with a comfortable chair and TV to watch, perfect, I originally thought, WRONG.
Half of my appointment I spent bleeding from my gums while Dr. Wu blamed my sensitivity on the fact that haven’t had a proper teeth cleaning in two years, which I found insulting and untrue. I have never had a cavity in my life and have always taken oral health seriously, so for her to say I haven’t taken care of myself is ludicrous. I left without feeling clean at all and had splatters of green tooth paste on my cheek, also unacceptable.
She also commented that my built-​in bottom retainer hits too low to my gum and then wiggled it to put it up. Now, 3 days later, my retainer has FALLEN OFF COMPLETELY. Did I have a problem before her? No. I am completely blaming this on her and will make sure all my friends and family know to go to any other dentist in the area.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Do not like the shiny interior of this place fool you, you will not leave happy.

Ive had some terrible experiences at dentists in the past, but Prestige Dental is a 5 star establishment. I had a whole spectrum of care provided, including referral that was great as well. The staff is awesome and Dr. Wu is very knowledgeable with being approachable at the same time.

Dr. Wu and her staff are friendly and professional. Happily they accept my insurance because this is the type of dentist office anyone would be happy to visit. Nice décor with the latest equipment, the massaging dentist chair with a big tv in the exam room put me at ease. My visit was quick, and the most pain free dental experience I’ve ever had.
A great addition to the area!
