I purchased my wife’s engagement ring, as well as our wedding bands at this place and I must say they make it extremely easy to understand diamonds, settings, and any scenario that could come to fruition while wearing the rings. They took me to «diamond school» as I coined it. where I learned and saw first hand what they look for in diamonds and why some specifications are more important to me. I would recommend this place very highly to anyone shopping for anything, My wife gets her rings cleaned and inspected anytime she is in the city, all complimentary of this wonderful jeweler.

My boyfriend worked with Jack and he helped him customize something better than I could have ever imagined. I have been getting my jewelry here for over 30 years. I usually deal with Jack. I moved to Phoenix and still go back to Kanell to get my jewelry.
I wouldn’t waste my time going elsewhere. They have THE BEST prices. Their service is outstanding!!! I agree with other posters, there is no high pressure selling. They just want to help you find what you want.
The funny thing is, they have no website and their store is very unassuming. Everyone knows, this is the place to go.
FYI — Their really high end jewelry (diamonds) are in another room. You tell them what size diamond you are looking for and they take you to a different room and bring them out loose and you pick what you want.

i don’t really get jeweler’s row — how does a business stay above water when all of its competitors are within one block? plus, it’s intimidating, full of pushy salespeople and obscene prices at the fancier spots and creepsters standing in doorways trying to lure you inside the crappier spots.
but this place is different. they have some high-​end stuff but also carry things that are both pretty and affordable. they don’t look you up and down when you walk in the door, even if you’re having the worst hair day ever and are sporting dripping-​wet rain gear from head to toe. the service is outstanding, especially when you’re working with karen (cool name, lady!) … i went in to buy a gift today and she was helpful and pleasant and not at all snooty.
jeweler’s row in general is not my scene but if you find yourself shopping there, give this place a try.

Amazing service and selection. The staff are kind, friendly, and helpful. This isn’t like some jeweler’s row stores where they hound you and pressure you because everyone works on commission. This place is great. Highly recommended.
