Angel has such magical hands! It only took him 15 mins to trim my hair into beautiful texturized natural style. A good haircut makes such a difference. The place is also spacious and low key. So in love. Will be back soon.

Joseph Donato has been my stylist for over 5 years now — he is the only one I trust with my hair and I recommend him to all of my friends. He is incredibly talented, efficient, fair, and professional. He is always able to make time for me when I call. I highly recommend him and Image Salon!

Angie is wonderful! I got the highlight service and it came out exactly as my reference picture. I wasn’t rushed and she took her time to give me advice on how to maintain and care for my hair. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and clean.

I think it finally happened! After years of hopping from one place to another I finally found my favorite hair salon in the city and it feels good. Let’s put it this way, I have not changed my hair style for years and never really died my hair (until now). One random day I was referred here from a friend and decided to leave an appointment. I am so glad I came to this salon and let Joe work on my hair. He was awesome and seemed to know what he was doing. The second I told him I wanted blond highlights he immediately knew what he wanted to do and promised me my hair would look great and it did. I love my blond highlights and will be coming back here for sure.

Danny Hart is AHHHH-​MAZ-​ZING!!! I began going to Image 2 years ago, when I had a job interview scheduled, and a friend of mine who has been going to Danny for 20 years told me that my head of hair needed his help. What an experience!!! (Positive, of course!) Danny took one look at me and immediately began sharing his ideas for cut and color, which I loved and agreed with — it was as if he read my mind. He works fast, shares great stories, and explains step-​by-​step, how to achieve and re-​create the style at home, with basic, minimal, products. His assistant Kim is super sweet and very attentive to adjust water and dryer temps. I get bored with the same look, and have tried a beachy blonde look, honey-​blonde, cognacy-​auburn, and most recently a Debbie Harry inspired bleach blonde look with bangs. Danny made a great recreation of the Debbie Harry look, without my hair loooking like a «trailer park bleach job» as he put it. Ha, ha. If he doesn’t think something will work or look good on you, he’ll tell you as he’s all about you and your hair looking great. Also, his color skills are amazing, and I can go up to 4 – 6 mos without a touch-​up. He integrates multiple shades for multi-​faceted, natural looking color, so that when roots grown in, they blend well and don’t create a hideous line. After my first visit with him, I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else, and have been a loyal customer since. Not to mention, I always get a TON of compliments on my hair after an appointment with Danny. Plus, Image is a great, down to earth salon, and all employees are super nice and friendly. If you’re looking for a great cut and/​or color, Danny Hart is your stylist!

New to the area, I picked this spot as it was close to work — and Alexander did a great job on my short hair — listening to what I wanted (everyone always says they won’t cut the bottom of the back so that I can’t see it, and then they do!). Very pleased!

My boyfriend’s mom, and now my boyfriend, have been going here for years. For the past couple of years, I’ve been coming as an observer. As such, I’ve seen a tight-​knit group of stylists and staff who work well together and make their clients feel like family. The personal touch of sylists who get to know their clients is always a bonus in a hair salon.
I recently got a cut here as well, and loved the assistant who shampooed me as well as my stylist, Jodi. The end product was a sleek, soft style that complemented my face and neckline. She styled it with a rounded flat iron, and now I’m on a mission to find one, because she did such a great job!
Remember to bring cash when you come — they don’t accept credit cards. There is an ATM in the parking lot across the street in a pinch!

Nice, easy salon. The star attraction is Danny Hart who is the best stylist I have ever met.

They were great in fitting me last minute on a Saturday.
The salon was very busy, and it had a very chatty vibe. There seemed to be a lot of regulars, and the staff were friendly with each other as well. It was a very casual place, so if you are looking for an upscale spot, this would not fit the bill.
However, if you are looking for a great haircut, then this is the place to go. I have hair with various textures, so it’s very difficult to manage. I have a bit concerned because I didn’t think the stylist listened to me when I mentioned this to him. He put layers in and gave it shape, and it looked great when I left the salon (since it was all blown out and straightener).
I was a bit worried after the first wash, because it seemed the layers were a bit too short, so it gave did not blend it quite well with the rest of my hair. However, I let it «settle» for a couple of days, and I really love the cut. I now have body and movement in my hair, and it does not look like a big triangle. the layers fall perfectly as they should, even with the semi-​wavy texture, and I don’t have to do anything except put a little bit of product into it so it dries smoothly.
The only thing that is annoying is that they are cash-​only, but I think I can live with that for a good cut. I would definitely come back and see the same stylist.

When I arrived at Image I was immediately greeted, consulted, and taken back for an awesome shampoo/​condition. Joe Donato then worked his magic on my long, layered hair, cutting and styling it to sheer perfection (pun intended). I left Image happier than I’ve ever been leaving a salon, and I remained very pleased with the cut when styling it myself. Joe made the vision I had for my hair a reality! Tips for new customers: they do not take cards, but they do offer a student discount.

My hair was pretty long and I wanted to donate to Locks of Love and go to a salon that had participated in that before. They took care of having a form ready for me to fill out and doing all the mailing, which was very helpful. Everyone was really nice and friendly, and I loved the cut and style from Joseph Donato.
They did ask me to pay with either cash or check, so be prepared for that. Luckily I had enough cash on hand. Would definitely go back though.

Down side is that they only take cash or check (I think). Ambiance is OK … but, it’s usually a quick stop. Never had a bad cut.
