I just came to this place the day before yesterday, i got the oxtails, mac n cheese and yams. My food was so darn good! and the service was good the ladies were very nice. I am going to go back today for lunch hopefully, it will be just as good today because I will be writing another review.

I am never disappointed when I dine here. Friendly, polite service. The food is always delicious and, for the price, plentiful!

Rating 4.5 I thoroughly enjoyed this Jamaican food ! I came here to grab some take out with a gf who recommended this place. I ordered a medium platter of Jerk Chicken with yellow rice and plantains. The portion was very large and the price was reasonable. My only complaint is they did not have beef patties when I visited and I really had a taste for one I will definitely be back!

That was by far the worst Jamaican food I’ve ever eaten. I decided to try this place based on the other reviews, sadly they were misleading for me. I had the brown rice and stew chicken with cabbage. The entire dish lacked flavor, I’m talking totally bland, the stew chicken was all bone no meat and tough. My sister had the oxtails and said the exact same thing so I know I’m not just being delusional. Jamaican D’s was better then this place and I hate Jamaican D’s food. Staches Caribbean was by far the best but since they changed owners not anymore, is there any place in this city where I can get great tasting Jamaican cuisine???

«Yah Mon, me come soon» Is what I say to eating at Hot Pot Cuisine. New to the Germantown area, Hot Pot is a very shiny, spic and span clean spot on the avenue. The service is very good and polite, but I can’t help but think everyone with a Jamaican accent is polite. Just hearing that musical accent eases me. The counter person asked for my order and I chose the Jerk Chicken with Cabbage and Plantains. There was another customer who was probably a regular named Les who ordered the same thing. She asked me what part of the chicken I wanted, breast or leg? I replied«the breast», she asked the same question to Les and he replied«I’ll take a breast and a leg, when a mon wakes up in the morning with a leg in his hand and a breast in his mouth he’s a lucky mon» Can’t argue with him-can you? The food was tasty and authentic with just the right amount of seasoning. I can’t hardly wait to try the Curry Goat and the Oxtail stew. I can already tell that this is going to be a regular pit stop for this mon.
