This place is awful and does a slimy business. I purchased an engagement ring here several years ago. When the engagement was broken less than a year later I attempted to return the ring. I knew not to expect a refund but I would have been happy with half of what I paid or even less. They wouldn’t even offer me $ 200. A few months later I had a friend bring the ring in and they offered him $ 300(less than ¼ of the original price). The whole business left me with a really bad feeling about the place. BEWARE before you purchase here!

I can not give Vic and the staff at Harzin higher praise! They are a great family owned business and everyone we worked with was very professional, trustworthy and friendly. So nice to not be dealing with a bunch of used car salesman types we had seen elsewhere when making this type of purchase. There were a lot of great engagement options at the shop, but my (now) wife had her heart set on this vintage setting she had seen somewhere else. Vic designed this unique Art Deco engagement ring for me from a few pictures and it came out even better than the original with more quality diamonds for a better price. We went back for the wedding bands and couldn’t be any happier with our purchases. No doubt we will be using Harzin for all of our jewelry needs!

My husband and I went in today to look for a wedding band and the folks at Harzin Jewelers made sure we left with exactly what we wanted. They even gave us half off the sticker price without us even asking or haggling — probably because I mentioned we waited so long to buy a ring for him because we’re young and broke. We left to comparison shop at 4 other jewelry stores but ended up coming back (even though we found one for slightly less elsewhere) because the service was fantastic. My husband initially wanted something slimmer, but the jeweler suggested he wear it for a few days to «test drive it» and come back if he wanted it shaved down, no charge for the alteration. He even cleaned my wedding ring (purchased elsewhere) for me while we were cashing out and it sparkled even more than the day I bought it! It’s a beautiful shop with a huge selection and we’ll definitely be customers for life.

We had a great experience in picking out our wedding rings and engagement ring. Shelly was very helpful and took her time to show us a lot of different styles and diamonds. Everyone at the store was super friendly and personable and we would highly recommend them.

Vic is fantastic ! My husbands watch was broken and Vic was able to repair it quickly. Fantastic service and really nice staff too. I’ve also never seen my rings look as good as they did when I left. Thank you !

Although we did not end up purchasing a ring here we were pleased with the service from Sue and Vic. They were very patient with us as we looked through several different rings and designs. There was no «upsale» or pressure. I wanted a ring that was designed in yellow gold. I chose a ring that was set in white gold and was told that it could easily be re-​created in yellow gold. When I ultimately wanted to move forward with this, I was given an indication that the ring would not look as good in yellow gold. It was somewhat disappointing for me being that I was clear from the beginning that I always wanted a ring in either yellow or rose gold. We ultimately ended up going to the jewlery district in New York due to the larger selection but sincerely appreciated all the help from Sue and Vic. I do trust them as compared to many of the other jewelers we met with on jewelers row and would consider them for another purchase.

DO NOT GO HERE. The most untrustworthy jeweler that I have run into on jewelers row, and actually ever. I was having a pair of earrings made, and they had me come in for a separate appointment to pick the gemstones out myself. When I got home after picking up the earrings, I realized that neither of the stones were the ones that I picked out but were rather much poorer in quality. I was told to come back in, and the head jeweler made some measly excuse that «I switched one of the stones because I thought it was a better size». Well, both of the stones were switched. All of the stones to choose from were the EXACT size. Anyone with decency would have placed a phone call to the client asking permission to change their order. Clearly, that was all a fabricated story.
The sad thing is that my family has purchased from here before. We did not even haggle on the price that they dropped for the earrings; we were very easy customers. They had us come in on multiple occasions and we are not from just around the corner. I found no customer loyalty at this place and it represents a jeweler taking advantage of who he thought was a naïve client. Just sad. They have lost many customers for life now.

The experience received here was wonderful. I was greeted warmly as I entered, and when asked what I was looking for, was shown exactly that. Prices were reasonable and the stone I’d brought to set was evaluated and set in under an hour. The work performed was perfect.
No pressure, real people, reasonable prices, good selection and fast service. I’m not saying this can’t be had elsewhere, but you can rest assured you can get it all right here. This is the whole package.

My soon-​to-​be husband and I purchased our wedding bands here and we couldn’t be happier. The staff is over-​the-​top friendly and not pushy like some of the other jewelers can be on the row. They stuck to our budget (a lot of other places try to over sell you) and we are both really happy with the rings we bought. Outstanding customer service! Thank you Marvin & Shelly for your help.

They did an amazing job creating a custom made wedding band for my engagement ring. I looked everywhere for a matching band for my ring but could not find anything. They suggested a custom made wedding band, explained the process to me, and gave me a very reasonable price. A few weeks later I had a beautiful ring that I can’t wait to wear for the rest of my life!

I can’t speak for the jewelery he carries but I am reviewing his expertise as a jeweler. Vic is trustworthy, talented, and has a willingness to please. I’ve trusted Harzin with my beautiful engagement ring (a Blue Nile purchase) on two ocassions and on the second visit, they offered a realistic/​affordable solution to avoid the third. We’ll definitely be purchasing our bands from Vic and his Harzin family.
