if you’re in the area, do not go to this location. Drive 6 minutes down the boulevard to the one at Grant. I go to hair cuttery maybe 2x a year, for a cut and blowdry. This is the shortest my hair has ever been but that was the longest hair appt I have ever had for just a cut(1.5 hours). It could have had something to do with the fact that my stylist kept me in the shampoo chair for almost 10 minutes(getting a one minute condition) while she was in back. Also, my cut and dry was interrupted everytime someone walked through the door because no other stylist could be bothered to play receptionist. On top of that, I was shorted on my change, so I ended up overpaying for my cut. Never going back to this location, or hair cuttery for that matter again.

Unprofessional barbers! It seems like they hiring everyone, who has hands. I showed the photos of my old haircut and she said that he knows how to do that. Everytime she asked me how to cut each part of my head. Even after I showed her the photo of my old haircut at the 2nd time. Terrible experience!

I like getting my sons hair cut and my own here, but there is one women who works at the 11000 Roosevelt blvd 19116 location who always chews gum. She is obnoxiously loud and I cannot Stand getting a cut from her. I hate having to listen to her chew like a cow in my or my sons ear. Not professional at all, it’s obnoxious and gross!!!

Unfortunately this will be the last and final time I get a haircut hear or any hair cuttery. The prices on men’s haircuts have been jumping up. And that’s never good. Especially when you see other places that are doing it way cheaper. Getting a haircut hear as a woman is perfect but not so much for a man. I need a haircut not a shampoo and all that. Even without a shampoo they still charge the same. I can shampoo my own hair morning and night. Over all its a great place for a woman. And always clean on the inside. But won’t be going back anymore. Need to find cheaper Barber.

I am a 20 year old guy and i have a great barber who always takes the time a effort to cut my hair even though my particular style should only take 10 minutes to do. Because my barber was out of town I thought i could get a hair cut the second I walk in at this hair cuttery. The woman that cut my hair was horrible. She barely cut made any effort and even missed spots. The entire time i was so nervous because I felt she didn’t know what she was doing/nor did i think she cared. The entire hair cut took 5 minutes and then she told me it was 15 dollars. Don’t get me wrong, I bet there are many other great stylists in this particular salon, but my unfamiliarity with this place led me to end up having a bad stylist. I ended up having to attempt to cut my own hair that day. This is just my experience.

I went to the same barber shop for 23 years and always got the same haircut. They never made a recommendation on what might look better on me. From the first time I went here, Karen made some subtle suggestions that made my hair look a thousand times better. I’ve found my stylist for life.

Karen S. is an awesome stylist! She listened to what I wanted, offered suggestions, and did a great cut on my long, wavy hair. She suggested some great products for my dry, colored hair as well. I’ll be going back!
