Terrible. Wanted to try them out only because I had a $ 10 off order of $ 15 coupon from GrubHub. When entering in the code on GrubHub it said it was expired, though it clearly states 05÷31÷16 at midnight. Call to see if they will honor it if I bring it in person, they automatically say it has expired, when I read off the date to them they are silent and just say they have nothing to do with grub hub… ok. Continue placing my order, tone is down to just the Chicken Drunken Noodles and they say it will be ready in 10 mins. When I go to pick it up, I have the coupon with me, trying to just point out the mishap so they are informed. They say«ohh you had to order at least $ 15 worth» I said I originally did have a larger order but cancelled it. Then they told me the code«kinda is like the lottery. It doesn’t always work.» What? I see that they have a card holder of the same exact coupon, tell them they shouldn’t have them displayed, ignored. THEN the total from chicken drunken noodles came out to $ 11.65 and a sign on the counter clearly states $ 10 minimum for credit cards and under $ 10 cash only along with a paragraph whining about the 2.99% charge they face because of credit card machine and we are a small family business yada yada. YEAH you are surrrroundedd by small businesses, you aren’t special. The woman insisted on adding a dollar to swipe my card! I said no no, look here you say $ 10 minimum I’m at $ 11 and she insists they charge an extra dollar for EVERY card charge. Cmon now. And finally, the chicken was not edible, there was no basil in the dish which is always very appealing in Thai dishes, there were barely any noodles but very heavy on thick cuts of onion which I guess is suppose to give the illusion that it is full of noodles. Never again! $ 12 down the drain.

This review is for their pork dumplings only: they are amazingly delicious and consistent. Handmade in the kitchen, just based on the inconsistent shape/size, meaning they aren’t punched out in some mass produced factory. Flavor is porky, subtle onion/garlic. Dipping sauce is addictive. I get them steamed, NOTFRIED. New evening routine: dog park– Fuzhou’s dumpling take out – enjoy on couch. *service is curt, rude and to the point. expect it and you won’t be disappointed.*

This place is solid! The General Tso’s is top notch, while the owners are good people. Have to say this is some of he beat Chinese food around.

Tried their delivery for the first time & I am very pleased. Large portions, hot, fast delivery, & overall great value. This is my new go-to Chinese takeout spot. My favorite was the scallion pancakes. Yum!

Cheap and decent. Not anything more or less than you would expect. Great crab rangoons and they’re under $ 4! Dumplings are not my fave, too much ginger and chewy. They’re always quick and the delivery people are nice. This place is like a trust old car, it’s going to get you where you want to go but you’re not going to get there on style.

It’s a shame that their delivery is so slow because the food is actually some of the better Chinese I’ve had outside of Chinatown. The first time I ordered was on a Thursday night and it took 2.25 hours for my food to show up. And when it did it was cold. I decided to try it again to see if it was just a bad night for them because the food really is pretty decent. However, on a Saturday with an order placed at 4pm to try to beat any delivery rush they have, my food took almost an hour and a half, it was cold and congealed. I won’t be ordering again.

I’m not sure if they’ve changed their dumplings, or if I just haven’t had them in a while, but their steamed dumplings were GREAT. They weren’t the super doughy type that you see at every other Chinese restaurant. Light thin shell, and lots of pork. Very nice.

I was surprised at how good my food was, considering how bad the reviews are. My husband and I decided to try the general tso and myself the phad tai. He said his was good. Now mine was great. I would definitely order again. The thai shrimp rolls and their buffalo wings were really good too

Strongly recommend their Yat! I tried chicken and pork Yat; both are good! Tastes like very authentic Chinese homemade noodle!

Terrible customer service. Nevermind that it took a long time for the food to arrive, but they also screwed the order up. They don’t list the ingredients for any of their food, and expect you to give a full list of every possible thing you don’t want on your food each time you order. Were extremely rude when I asked them to fix it, and refused to een acknowledge there was a problem. Will never order from here again, avoid at all costs.

Horrible customer service — I live 2.04 miles from the restaurant and they wont deliver even though the website clearly states $ 1.00 for up to 3 miles. When I told the lady the website confirms they deliver up to 3 miles and I am under that she rudely said she would deliver but it would be even longer(1 hour) — NOTHANKS!!!

We ordered pick-up from here on a bad flu day. Good soothing hot n sour soup that I was grateful for. The crispy duck was dry though, and how you can manage to get duck dry, I can’t possibly imagine! All in all, a savior on a sick day, but I’ll try other places when I want to have real good food.

So I haven’t written a review about this place yet because I still after ordering from here several times, can’t figure out what to say. The food is always fast and hot. I normally go pick it up but they also do free delivery within a mile which totally came in handy this past winter. I normally think their food is just ok. I wish their vegetable fried rice had more flavor. I normally get hot oil and dump it all over it. This is normally my staple order. However, this last time we ordered tofu with garlic sauce, vegetable lo mein, and my boyfriend ordered the chicken pad Thai and they were all really good! I think this is why it gets tricky. Not sure when you order what you will get! I will still continue to order from here and of course appreciate the proximity. Just beware that it can be hit or miss depending on the day!

Worst takeout food. The food was salty and greasy. Worst of all, we found a LARGE bug in our food for which we never received an apology or any acknowledgement for our complaints. Will never order from here again.

Just moving to the 2100 block of South Street I’m thrilled I have to look no further for my neighborhood chinese fix. General Tso’s Chicken was a nice mix of little spice and the right color. Generous amount, and seems to be a family run place, as a little girl was training at the cash register! I’ll be back!

They have a lot of vegetarian options, which is nice, but it’s pretty typical takeout. The portions are good, and the chicken in the stir-fried dishes is not heavily coated in starch. The brown sauce is decent but nothing special. It’s a good takeout option if you manage expectations.

Ordered from Fuzhou House to a building with a doorman. They called and refused to come into the building, asking us to meet them on the street to deliver. They called and stated they couldn’t park. EVERYTIME I have ordered from another delivery place, they park and come into the building. There is courtesy parking next to our building for delivery people and explained this to them. They called twice, angrily stating they would not come into the building, wanting us to come to the street to pick up the food. Worst off, when he finally delivered food, told us to not order there again. Very unprofessional service. Worst delivery service. Will not be ordering here again due to that experience.

I was feeling lazy and ordered delivery from fuzhou, literally 8 blocks away from my house and it took an hour for the food to get to my house. The store called to reconfirm my address, asked me to stand and wait outside, and then when I see the delivery man, he proceeds to sit in his car, parked for another 5 minutes. The food was cold, the chicken tasted like it had gone bad. Never again.

Decent food, average prices and perhaps best of all, online ordering. The service is quick and I can’t complain about the food. Then again, I am usually eating it after a night of drinking, so anything tastes good after copious amounts of booze. For real though, I’ve also had their food sober many times. If you’re too tired/hot/drunk to cook, Fuzhou House is a budget-friendly option. Oh and free delivery if you live within a 1 mile radius(I feel like since they have this option, it’s only natural that I should take advantage of it, even if I can walk to the place in 3 minutes.)
