Post-workout nutrition is important and as the only option available within the Sporting Club, I’d expect better. The smoothie options, while appealing on the menu, in reality are poorly made and taste awful. I ordered a Java Oat and the less than happy server threw in a banana even though that’s not one of the ingredients. Even worse, the smoothie was blended for all of four seconds and did not come out«smooth» at all, but clumpy. I can totally appreciate how my comments and complaints seem very trivial, but my last gym juice /smoothie bar was beyond compare.

On 8th floor of the Bellevue parking deck, it’s a convenient spot for members of the Sporting Club to grab a quick bite before/after workout and to/from work Good: — Healthy food selections: Coffee, Juices, Breakfast Items, Soup/Salads, Entrees, Smoothies — Floor to ceiling sectioned windows — bright and airy! — Ample seating and table space(3 – 4 high tops by windows, 6 – 8 large tables) — Free WiFi — Friendly staff Eh: — Food slightly overpriced for the quality. — Blenders are loud. Lawnmower loud. — Few power outlets. — Phone charging stations see high traffic, and half the ports are broken. — Some gym/public folks use this location as their office: To sneak in work before a workout/class? Great planning — kudos! Long phone calls? Not cool. There’s also skyway on the 4th floor connecting to the Bellevue itself(hotel, shops, basement food court) — useful if you’re seeking a sheltered route during inclement weather.

Appreciate their location a lot. It is usually quite and never get pressure to order in hurry. They let you sit there and enjoy which is big plus. I tried couple smoothies there and my favorite was avocado ones. It is really creamy and filling. Perfect treat after visiting the gym. I never tried their wrap or salad, looked fresh. I like this location because no one bothers, you can charge your phone and hang there a bit. And also because their smoothies…

The location makes this place most appealing to members of The Sporting Club at The Bellevue. It’s up on the 8th floor directly across from the front desk of the gym. The menu isn’t extensive but it features entrees, salads, wraps, sandwiches, and smoothies. Everything seems decently healthy but I would love if they featured the calorie intake on the menu. It’s hard with some of these places to figure out what is actually healthy for you and what filler items don’t actually have the best health content. Especially when it comes to protein or meal replacement smoothies I think it’s important to know how many calories your consuming. They have hot soups daily which seem to be popular, but again I can’t determine the actual healthiness of the soups considering some soups are loaded with hidden calories. Muffins and bagels on display also seem tempting but healthy? They offer trendy wheatgrass shots, vegan energy bars, and varieties of sports drinks and water that I haven’t seen before. My salmon salad was good despite the lack of seasoning. Overall if your at The Sporting Club this is a decent option for a last minute meal– unfortunately service was SLOW… took me 20+ minutes for my salad…

I had the grilled salmon with a side of sautéed spinach. The salmon was bland and there was literally 2 bites of spinach. Everything is a little overpriced too.

Sadly didn’t take any photos, but I stopped here for breakfast on my way out of Philly. It was difficult to identify the location, as it’s in the Bellevue on the 8th floor. The food. The food you get here will not blow your mind with sophistication… in fact, it won’t come close. I’m awarding this place 5 stars based on what it is. In a city known for its greasy, heavy cheesesteak(which has it’s own special place in my heart), it was so refreshing to find a place with so many healthy options. I’m a bit of a health nut, and I genuinely appreciate their nutritional postings. I got the Pilates smoothie with added whey protein and flaxseed(add-ones were $ 0.75 or something). It was one of the better smoothies I’ve ever had. And they have tons of options for protein powders, and you can see the ones they use on the shelves behind the counter. Everything from syntha-6 to gold standard whey – it was like being in a GNC! I ordered the egg white platter as a sandwich on multigrain(with turkey bacon) as well, and it was hot and fresh. Nothing fancy: just some well-prepared eggs and bacon on some well-toasted bread. I added some ketchup and spicy mustard and it was great! Portions didn’t blow me away, but with the smoothie I walked out completely satiated. For the price, it made for a good deal. Some might think the 5 stars is overboard. But I’m basing this on what it is: a fast, healthy food option that does very well at just that: fast and healthy.
