I love the product no question about them made to order juicy burgers with FREE toppings galore. Oh and them Cajun fries so full of potatoes goodness but I am here to talk about the customer service I received this evening. This team working this shift on ½ was everything you want from a team of employees. The woman taking my order greeted me with a beautiful smile & asked me how my new year was shaping up. The men behind making the burgers were friendly and not to mention one of them mentioned how to save the company money by reducing the use of plastic bags. Maybe make the brown bags with handles? Great staff — give them all a raise!

3. If you ordered the famous fries, which you should, get the regular size. a) you will get an overflowing bag of fries, no matter what size you have ordered. b) You will save about $ 1.76 (R: $ 3.19 L: $ 4.95).

I originally liked this spot. Thought it had a good fast food burger, but I’ve had some bad experiences with this place recently where I give it 2 stars now.
Burger is okay — a little on the greasy side. I used to like the fries and the fact that you get an extra scoop, but they were too soggy.
The peanuts are a nice touch as you wait for your burger and the fountain soda allows you to have tons of options.
Best options in the city for a burger

So I’ve heard good things so I tried them out. The staff. Tybriah is her name. Recommended me the double cheeseburger. She was even nice enough to give me her loads of fries to finish because she had too much! Her welcoming and inviting personality, warrants me to come back definitely come back. And the damn cheeseburger was too good to pass up. Especially with the GOLD PEAK machine. I am SOLD! You guys HAVE to try them. Or should I say you «five?»

I like when my burgers have a thicker meat, but the sandwich here was very good. The bacon bits were perfectly toasted and you get to choose from a bunch of toppings. The fries are awesome, clearly made fresh, not the frozen thing you get in most places. Overall a very good burger.

Cheerful, loud, delicious, and fast. Get the little burger and little fries unless you want to make two meals out of it. At the height of lunchtime it’s entertaining to watch the kitchen crew working.

Great food and service. I lost my backpack and they protected it for for me. They serve breakfast here too.

convenient location in center city.

I have been to this location a few times now. For a burger place in the area, they are in the middle of the pack. They definitely don’t beat out Shake Shack, which is only a few blocks away. They do always have tables available though, which I think is a byproduct of the location.
First, expect to have a homeless person asking you for money or SEPTA tokens on your way in and out. It seems to be a great area, like outside of McDonald’s.
Second, expect mediocre service at the register. The last time I went, the guy was high as a kite and screwed up my order three times! Two burgers, two toppings each. That’s how high he was. I thought he was going to fall asleep at the register. Despite my being nice to him, he still turned around to the line cook and blamed me for his mistakes. The time before that, the person got my order right, but was confused by a gift card, saying she didn’t know how to charge it.
Importantly, the food is good. Is it the best burger in Philly? Not even close. Is it the best in a 5 – 10 minute radius walking? Nope. Is it easy to get to? Yes. When you walk in you notice all the «awards» on the wall but if you look closely you’ll see only one is from the area.
I don’t choose fast food often, because, well, let’s face it. It’s not as good and not as healthy. But, if I’m in a rush and don’t mind the mediocre service, I’ll settle for Five Guys or Wendy’s. Wendy’s does have the benefit of better service though.

I ordered food for a group twice. The first time I got two burgers with no meat in them and had to walk back to get burgers with, uh, «burgers» and when I did, I had to pay for my soda while I waited ten minutes for new burgers. I figured a compensatory soda might be comped, considering the meatless buns I was served with my first order. I went back for lunch to give them a second chance a few weeks later and the service was horrible, slow and rude. Oh, I forgot to mention, the food was atrocious. Avoid this location. Avoid this chain. Even for fast food, this was abysmal in every way.

For $ 7.34, I should not be receiving a burger that is smashed together with a small spot that has not been wrapped. Or wrapped in foil with a tiny hole in it where burger juice is dripping all over me while I’m trying to bite into it carefully so the ingredients don’t explode.
I understand the lines are long but I would’ve preferred to wait a little longer for at least in-​tact aluminum foil.

I tried this place on a whim one day and just got an order of fries. I fell in love right on the spot. Since then, I have been back a few times and have never been disappointed in either their fries or their burgers.
I went there today for lunch and I was so blown away by the service, I had to write. I placed my order online like I always do, so that I can just run in and run out. I got there a few minutes earlier than my 12:30 pickup time, so I waited. When 12:40 came, I asked one of the nice ladies behind the counter about it. She didn’t have my order but went to check the computer to see what happened.
Well, no one printed off my order, so it was not ready. She apologized a couple of times and because of their error, she gave me an extra burger patty and a free fountain drink! Most places just say they’re sorry and leave it at that. I hope that I’m not getting anyone in trouble because of this review, but I just had to say, wow, and they definitely have a repeat customer because of her.

Awesome cheeseburgers! AND Coke with Vanilla omg! AND the fries! Is this the best place in the world or what?! I dont usually eat beef but oh did I love the cheeseburger here! I am so glad my friends took me to this place, it is a heaven for foodies like me! Love it!

The superior fast food burger, hands down. Patties are made fresh, fries are cut daily, and you get tons of them with an order! The workers carefully craft your burger to your specifics, aren’t rushing, and based on what I saw, have an efficient assembly line system from order to food pickup.
Tables are clean, ketchup is bountiful, and of course, plenty of free peanuts as you wait for your burger. This is my area go-​to when craving a burger! And gold peak’s tea? Now that is quality tea right there! And there’s free drink refills on it! Go now and thank me later!

I like Five Guys. I used to love them a few years ago; they were definitely my «go to» when I craved a burger. I don’t know if my taste buds have changed or what, but their burgers don’t satisfy me like they used to. Five Guys fries, however, are fantastic. I like how they’re freshly cut like my grandma used to make them.
The toppings for their burgers and hotdogs are always fresh, and there are a lot to choose from. The free roasted peanuts are a nice touch, and are great to have while you’re waiting on your food. Speaking of their hot dogs, I think they are really good for a burger place.

I like the online ordering system. I put in my order, skip the lines, go right to pickup, and bam, my order is ready!
Burger…very messy. I ordered the cheeseburger «all the way» with grilled jalapenos. The «all the way» consisted of ketchup, mayo, mustard, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, mushrooms, and grilled onions. Wasn’t the best burger I had at all, but it satisfies when I’m in a quick need of some red meat. The bread got very soggy by the time I got back to my office. It didn’t hold up well, but was still edible. Probably the «all the way» put it over the egge. Also, I couldn’t taste any spicyness from the grilled jalapenos I requested, so next time, I’ll order just regular instead of grilled.
What I really enjoyed here were the fries. Fresh cut, comes fresh out the fryer, and salted perfectly. Mmm! I do wish they gave some ketchup with it though. I forgot to request it.
Will I be back? Sure! But not too soon though. Very greasy!

I love Five Guys Burgers and Fries. Little hamburger is just the right portion, and the fries are always hot and overflowing.
Can’t beat a burger cooked to order. Messy, but not too messy. Always delicious.
Sometimes the service is mediocre, and sometimes it’s a little friendlier — I think it all depends on the time of day… Beware if you come too close to closing time — it starts to feel a little sketchy later at night.

Five guys is my go to burger place, hands down!
The meat is always fresh to order, the option is always up to you to build and it never disappoints. The bacon is always crisp, vegetables always fresh and the fries and always hot.
Just writing this review makes my mouth water. They package everything to go which I think is great since your burger never falls apart if you eat it in the wrapper.
Never messy not too greasy and always made to order. Cant complain about 5 guys!
