Fishtown’s 15th Round

This is bar far my favorite neighborhood bar. You can’t get any cheaper drinks than here; beers are around $ 2, shots around $ 4 and they also have take out beer. They’re cash only so bring a little dough, although you could probably just walk in with a $ 20 and get sufficiently drunk.
I’m not an old school townie, but the people here have accepted me as though I were one. Bartenders will be happy to do a shot with you or light up your smoke. Just remember to smile and leave a kind tip.
You’ll often find me at the pool table where games are 75 cents.
The perfect place when you’re just looking for a cold beer without all the frills.

Cheap (cash-​only). Good. Local.
This place deserves at least a mention on Unilocal.
I’ve been here a half dozen times for cheap drinks and good service. It’s a low-​key blue collar bar that I’ve rarely seen full. Limited selection drinks, smoking allowed, mediocre comfort level/​ambiance (I’ve only ever seen one or two fishtown locals in there besides my own friends)…
But still a fantastic bar! I was doing rounds of drinks for a party of ten, under $ 20. The bartender I’ve met consistently is Noreen, who is as straightforward sassy as you could wish a tender to be. We have a group of NoLibs/​Fishtown friends that will rally for a bar crawl every now and again, and this is ALWAYS one of our stops. They are so kind as to let us bring in our own karaōke machine and hook up to a TV, even ordered some pizzas to bring in.
Nothing to go out of your way for, but a great place to kill some time with a few drinks.
