I’ve never eaten in(minus 1 star), but, have never had a bad experience with their food at their original location or Delaware Ave and you can legit try something new everytime because of how expansive the selection is. Everything is always great, but, my go-to has always been their Dirty Dirty Home fries. Perfect anytime of the day and even better heated up the next day. Fat Joe’s has my business for as long as they’re around.

Not worth the money anymore since they moved. Smaller portions. Waited forever while phone orders were taken. Was overcharged by a dollar. I believe she added a tip even though I had already added $ 1 to the tip cup. Back to Gooey Looies.

Food was OK but beware: not a place to eat in. Order taker had an attitude. They carried no diet drinks except for iced tea. Don’t have cups for water, even for a fee. For very little effort, they could be four stars!

If the right mood catches you, it’s sloppy, delicious, terrible for your fat body food. Their delivery is very fast and the drivers are actually competent and nice. It’s incredibly hard to find delivery drivers that understand words like front, back, inside, and outside. Fat Joe’s is perfect drunk man food, depressed sadness food, I quit dieting so f it food, or I only need to eat once today food.

This place serves some seriously rich and yummy food. The menu has many options and nothing we’ve ordered has ever disappointed. I’d say we have been ordering delivery for about a year and the service is quick. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to break away from Friday night pizza.

Ive been ordering from Fat Joe’s for awhile now and I have to say the food is great. The specialty sandwiches such as «The Scooby Doo» and«The Sloppy Joe»(not to be confused with the manwich variety) are delicious. This is by no means a fancy eatery, but it is a place dishing out great sandwiches that don’t need to be spoken for with fancy presentations or exaggerated descriptions. The specialty sandwiches speak for themselves– as all good food should. On occasion the delivery service can run a little late, but of all the times I’ve ordered, its only happened once. Many of the appetizers are basic corner store varieties that can be found anywhere in Philly, so I wouldn’t recommend coming here just for the appetizers. The true gems of this place are their specialty sandwiches. Try them out and see for yourself!

This place has the best sandwiches I have ever tasted. The food is fresh and you can watch the owner cook it himself. I’ve tried several sandwiches and all are delicious. I’m still trying to decide my favorite but the menu keeps getting bigger every time I go. This place is definitely a must try!!! You won’t be disappointed!

The menu is huge! Anything you can imagine eating at a sandwich shop, they will have it! I had the Rocky and Bullweasle sandwich, which I would get again in a heart beat. Everyone in the group I was with was fully satisfied with their entire meal! The staff is awesome too.

I’ve been here numerous times and not once have I been let down. Not going to lie, I was a bit nervous and slightly intimated by the menu. My first shot at Fat Joe’s was the Jekyll & Hyde — a sweet combination of Chicken, Steak, House made sauce, Cheddar & Mozzarella. Boy was it an explosion of flavor. Two neat things about the menu; 1. You can find a menu item for whatever mood you’re in that day. 2. The entire menu is available all day. However, the best part of the experience was taking the plunge into Fat Joe’s world and trying one of his specialty(award winning must I say) sandwiches. Sadly, you walk in with not much to see. But, I must put emphasis on not being fooled by the entrance. There’s a load of flavor waiting to be put on a plate behind that counter. Just grab a menu and let your adventurous side takeover! I believe the menu items are a true taste at what Philadelphia has to offer. It’s located in a busy plaza but tucked in. It can be easily missed but you would be the only one missing out. Stop in and have lunch one day. Let’s here what you have to say.

I had the ‘cry baby’ sandwich and my companion had the South Philly quesadilla(cheesesteak quesadilla with fries plus he ordered fried onions on top). My sandwich was pretty good, a tad too spicy for my liking. The bread was fresh. The quesadilla had very few french fries even though the fries were advertised on the menu. The place is clean and the service is friendly. Not the best quality, but good for a lunch bite. I’ve heard great things about the breakfast sandwiches but have yet to try them.

Unless you want your food 2 hours later, then ask for delivery. And trust me, the food is not worth it.

Great good, very reasonably priced, large portions, need I really say more. This place will get you fat quick. Avoid at all costs if you are trying to diet. If not, enjoy!

Stopped in for a quick pre-Lowes sandwich and was impressed by the freshness of the ingredients and friendly service. Also shocked there aren’t any reviews for this place, which seems strange. The menu is huge and Joe himself is in kitchen making orders. He asked how everything was and offered to wrap up my leftovers for me. The hoagies are HUGE, and lasted two meals… not too bad for $ 7! Will definitely return and try out other menu choices. Those egg and cheeses sure looked delish…
