1. Their breakfast sandwiches(I’ve had two) were good, though pretty greasy. 2. I’d like to see them add the option to choose a smaller sized cup of coffee. 3. The two employees I’ve met were friendly. 4. Two times I’ve visited this place during normal hours and they were closed.

Extremely friendly staff. Very helpful and let us try some of his mom’s homemade ravioli! Great baked goods, soups, and sandwiches. Definitely worth the stop!

Just stopped in, drawn in by the«dogs welcome!» sign. Had a delicious slice of mushroom and spinach quiche. He said they just created a brunch menu for the weekends, including vegetarian and vegan fare. Will need to come back and try that!

They make great lattes and offer both soy and almond milk. The bagels they offer are really good, I just wish they had a larger variety. If Fa Caldo starting offering vegan cream cheese and vegan baked goods I would never leave.

Fa Caldo is great! I stopped in because I’m looking to move to the area. The owner was super friendly and courteous. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. It was amazing. The bagel was perfect, eggs were good, but that bacon. The bacon and the spread it was in was to die for! I will definitely be coming back soon for more. Also a plus, DOGFRIENDLY!

Fa Caldo opened this winter two blocks away from the East Passyunk area, featuring an all day breakfast menu. I ordered a homemade cheddar biscuit with bacon onion jam. Besides the amazing jam, this beauty was toasted with provolone, and then, at the staff’s recommendation, some pancetta. In case you had any doubts– the combo of flavors here was perfect. The sweet, smokey jam and cheese oozed in passionate unison together while the biscuit did its best to keep it together. You know you want it.

I usually don’t write reviews but this place is awesome. Best latte I have had in a long time. The owner is the nicest guy. Gave me water just to be nice. Check it out!

I happened to go in on opening weekend. My party was immediately greeted with prompt service and a full explanation of the huge variety of bakery items on display– nearly all made in house. The nutella latte is to die for– don’t miss out on this one. I left with 3 fancy beverages and 3 bakery items fit for royalty for only $ 18. And the man behind the counter? Holy handsome! Solid 5 stars– will surely be returning!

Very cute and new café owned by the nicest guy. And in a neighborhood that needs(and deserves) more options. Check out their unique sandwiches and for breakfast their bacon, egg and cheese with sweet onion jam on a biscuit. Hope to see these guys become a neighborhood go-to spot in the coming years. Will definitely be back.

Been meaning to get In here since this place opened. Tried once on a rainy day a few weeks ago, but the doors were locked even though their hours claimed they were open? Anyways, glad I did! Good food, good service. their cheddar biscuit sandwich was great. I live a few blocks away and will definitely be back.

Excellent service with a kind, neighborhood feel. A much needed addition to the east passyunk neighborhood. Prices are fair(yes they accept CC) and service is homie. Great music and wifi for you workaholics.

I stumbled across this awesome shop on my walk to school. I met one of the wonderful proprietors Jen. I definitely enjoyed my Soy Salted Caramel on my way to school! I look forward to seeing more décor in the space but I cannot wait to go back and try some of their food! Welcome to the neighborhood!!!

Glad to see a new coffee shop in the neighborhood! Super friendly service, La Colombe coffee, and a patio out back(looking forward to hanging there in warmer weather). We just had coffee on our first visit, but will definitely try some food on future visits. Also, dog-friendly! :)

A welcome addition to the neighborhood. The turkey panini was yummy, and a good size. Although a handful of chips on the plate would have been welcome. Staff very friendly. I look forward to coming back to try other items in the menu and the coffee and hope they do well!

A welcome addition to the neighborhood. Stopped in for a late breakfast with my wife on Saturday and was very pleased with the quality of the food and drink, especially since it was the opening week! I had a turkey and brie panini with onion/garlic jam and it was delicious. Maybe a little too heavy on the garlic, but very tasty. For the size of the sandwich and the quality of the ingredients, it was a value at less than $ 9. My wife had the biscuit breakfast sandwich which was also delicious and a huge value at less than $ 6. I’m not a coffee drinker, but my wife had a latte. Her only complaint was that it could have used an additional shot of espresso to strengthen it a bit but she enjoyed it. The place has nice exposed brick walls for a rustic feel. My only suggestions would be to add some artwork as the walls are a bit bare right now. Also, wiring some speakers in the back room would add to the ambiance. Again, this is a welcome addition to the neighborhood and I wish them the best of luck. Looking forward to trying some of the tasty looking pastries soon!

So glad I’m the first to review, because this is going to become a popular attraction in the neighborhood. Wonderful service and tremendous food! Great new place — easy to find at the corner of 9th and Morris. Now open 7 to 5 daily.
