Hosted a birthday party here on a Sunday and we had a great time bowling. Good prices, especially compared to the alleys in NoLibs, Center City & South Philly. The staff was pretty nice and made things very easy for us. There was plenty of space, as there were enough lanes to accommodate 2 other large parties, a league, and other patrons. They have a bar featuring cheap beer and the food is just meh, but we brought in our own. Unfortunately those bathrooms are absolutely abysmal! The women’s room reeked of urine and funk and there’s no reason for it. My husband said that the urinals were full of sitting urine, which is just unacceptable. Really y’all?! I don’t know how the league bowlers can stand it on a regular basis!

A great old school bowling alley in the heart of Philly. Bring sanitizer.

Erie Lanes is a rough area, but at $ 1 a game on Tuesday nights after 9, and all of us being broke college students, it’s a regular spot for my friends and I. This place is usually jumping too, and it’s a huge bowling alley, probably the biggest in the city at some 40 lanes. Guy behind the counter is always straight miserable too! But still…$ 1 a game? Lanes are serviced and clean too, I’ll take it.

I like this place. They have lots of lanes and the bowling is inexpensive. Some days its $ 2.00 or less per game before five. Other times you can bowl for as much as you want for a set price. They sell bowling supplies there and they have a few arcade games. Erie lanes might not have the latest technology or all of the flat screen TVs as some places, but for the price, you can’t beat it.

I like this place, not the greatest of neighborhoods but it’s not too bad. The prices are excellent here at anytime, also a good place to take kids or a group. I will definetely go here again.

Good God honey, we are in the hood. We had to find a place to go after the Karaōke place on Rising Sun was all booked out and came upon this place. Mind you, we were hitting close to midnight and there was still people there with their kids. Not teenage children, I’m talking 2 – 6 year olds hopped up on Mountain Dew because mommy wanted to go out and couldn’t find a babysitter. Now don’t let the news media fool you, there were unfit parents of both black and white races. I’m not trying to single out anyone in this post, but we as a country must do better. Now, onto the lanes. It’s honestly pretty average pricing but with the shadiness of the area and the rudeness of the staff to just cut off your game without any warning(who really is checking the time when bowling) I can’t say that I would ever be back.

If you’re not bothered by the area, this is a decent place to bowl. No frills. This is a very BASIC bowling alley. But there is a BAR with cheap drinks that taste good enough. It doesn’t look too nice on the outside at night but it looks a lot better on the inside. Clean. I probably wouldn’t throw an adult party here though. Or go on a date here. But if its late at night, you’ve got a group of friends and you don’t want to pay to go to North Bowl, its a good place to go to drink and bowl.

This bowling alley is one of my favorites, mostly due to the price. You can always find cheap bowling here whether its quarter games on Friday afternoons or lanes at night, this bowling alley doesn’t run your pockets. The area is okay and they have security at night on the weekends. This place can get very busy but everyone keeps to their self and is there to have fun. If you come here on the weekend, get there early to get a lane.

Basic, inexpensive bowling in a pretty shady area. I used to participate in a dad/daughter bowling league here when i was in elementary school. I remember the food being run of the mill bowling alley food, there is a small arcade, and serviceable lanes. I would’t attempt to travel here by SEPTA.
