I like my doctor and health care here but the office staff are rude and crass. They act as if you are inconveniencing them by being there. I really feel uncomfortable with that aspect. My triage nurse is always polite, and my doctor is great.

I had no problem with the quality of care here, but I have been driven away by the astounding inefficiency and ineptitude of the office staff. In the past, for example, I had great difficulty getting a timely appointment. I asked my doctor why I had had to wait so long to see him, and he said«That’s strange, we have slots reserved for regular patients of the practice.» But next time I called for an appointment I asked the telephone operator and she was not aware of any such policy. Most recently I asked, if I could have an appointment with a different doctor at the practice. They said they would call back. I thought they had forgotten about it. But 17 days later they called back. «I am calling because you wanted to change your doctor.» «No, I didn’t want to change my doctor; I just wanted one appointment with a different doctor.» They will not do that. Why not? They would not say. So I dumped them. I called back to get my medical records transferred to the new doctor. «Our practice,» said the phone message«has a standard policy that must be followed for record release. First you must fill out a Medical Records Release Form. You may come to our office, or request that the form be mailed to you.» Mailed! I wish this office would drag itself into the 1980s and buy a fax machine. «We will send your records fourteen to twenty-one days after the date we receive your form.» Yep, that’s why I am dumping them.

If your a new patient, don’t even bother to get sick. It will take you a month to get an appointment with somebody. And their operators are really unprofessional.

I could never get an appointment here! i listed them as my primary care on my health insurance because i had to pick someone when i first got my job in Philadelphia. When i got sick i called to ask if i could come in… they said since i was a new patient i had to wait 3 months to be seen! even though i was sick! so i ended up having to go to the emergency room. i always thought this was standard practice until i finally decided to switch doctors. my new dr has never seen me before but scheduled me to come in within the week!!!
