HUGE number of choices here for what you can have inside /outside or both of your wrapped goodness. I personally love their more than reasonable breakfast offerings. However the decadence of the fruity dessert offerings is worth a few tries. The Apples could be cooked a bit better — but that may just be a personal preferrance of my own.

I’m an idiot for getting the artichoke crêpe and thinking that it wouldn’t be made from canned artichokes.

Not a major fan. Ok food, get it early because by 4pm the salads aren’t fresh at all.

A friend and I decided to stop in here one day before our shift at a local hospital. We had a Groupon for 2 crepes and 2 fountain drinks. Already a crêpe fan, I was eager to try this place out. I don’t normally go for savory crepes, but it seemed like a good idea given the time of day and how hungry I was. I ordered the Sorrento. Although I’m not a vegetarian I’m hard pressed to say no to ricotta cheese. The way the counter is set up I was able to watch one of the workers assemble my crêpe. I was shocked to see how big it was and how much goes into it. My crêpe was nothing short of delicious. The edges of the crêpe were golden brown and the filling was warm and tasted fresh. The sundried tomato and ricotta cheese combination was heavenly. I was stuffed by the time I finished — thank god I was wearing elastic scrub pants. I will definitely come back here for lunch and to try their dessert crepes.

Yeah no. Where’s my Chipotle! Seriously, couldn’t have even gotten a Qdoba? Boo hiss. I tried to give this place another chance, I really did. I came here twice again. I dropped in once when I had no idea where to go for lunch and only had 10 minutes to pick something up. I came in and chanced a banana and strawberry smoothie. They got me with the sign that said student discount(I’m a grad student and had my card on me). It was okay, but for the price and taste, I’d make the trek down to Reading Terminal Market. Also, it really turned me off that the signs everywhere say that tax is included when paying cash. It’s not. Then my friend who worked in the office happened to get a groupon from a friend, that gave you 2 crepes and 2 soft drinks for a discount. So here I was again. I tried. I mean, I happened to try a savory crêpe at the crêpe place in 30th street a few weeks before and it was delicious. This place… not so much. WOMPWOMPWOMP. By not so much… I mean not at all. We both got ours to go and went back to our separate areas. I choked down half of my turkey club crêpe(it was made with turkey lunch meat of some sort, bacon, lettuce, crêpe, and I chose ranch dressing. Yuck. The crêpe itself was chewy and altogether nasty and the lunch meat left something to be desired. I gave up and just ate the bacon. Later on when my friend and I met up she asked me how I liked my crêpe. I wanted to be nice because she had treated me… but I told her I couldn’t even finish it. She agreed and said that her crêpe(some vegetarian option) was terrible as well and that she given up half way through. As two broke women who hate to waste food… that says something. So…boooo give me my Chipotle.

Crêpe is my favorite kind of pancake than the regular, thick battered pancakes. I like the thinness and the stuffing/filling in either savoury or sweet; and that’s why I came to Crêpe Town. CT offers different kinds of crepes. I always have a sweet tooth for crêpe. My companions ordered the breakfast style and they looked yummy. I only dislike about CT is not being restroom friendly. Having a dining facility, we expect a restroom to be available but the staffs said that their restrooms were out of order for 2 days! Unfortunately, that’s inconvenient for customers who would like to enjoy a sit down meal and later to find out that we can’t go.

Hanging around the CCP area, I spotted Crêpe Town/Bain’s Deli, and decided to grab a crêpe here. I’ll bet it’s crowded during lunchtime, but at around 3 in the afternoon, no one was in sight. I went for a sweet crêpe, but I’d love to try some of their savory stuff sometime. Legit, it was one of my favorite sweet crepes. The apple filling was perfectly soft, not too crunchy and not too mushy. Maybe a little bit heavy on the caramel sauce, but not by much. The actual crêpe was perfect. Not too thick, yet able to support the filling, and with a bit of a wheaty taste. Oh man, this place makes me want to get up early enough to grab breakfast here. The friendly employees and clean environment are a major bonus, too. Wakey, wakey, eggs and crêpe-y!

We went yesterday after a tour of Eastern State Penitentiary. I had a coupon from Groupon for the four of us. We all ordered Cesar chicken salad crepes(mine was whole wheat) and for dessert crepes we ordered the Banana Strawberry Nutella, Cinnamon Heaven and Walnut Honey. The texture of the crepes was amazing! The chicken crepes were yummy. Chicken tasted fresh as did the veggies and dressing. I had the Cinnamon Heaven which was just great. Fresh apples and pears with cinnamon and a touch of caramel — -yummy!!! Everyone else also enjoyed their dessert crepes. The service was spot on. Friendly and efficient. We can’t wait to go back!

Mediocre crepes made sloppily. Closed randomly when it’s supposed to be open. Pass.

Meh… I wanted to love this place so bad. It’s literally 10 steps outside my office and I love crêpe’s so I thought, «Match made in heaven!» Right? Not so. Opening day I ordered the Sorrento crêpe; it was slightly burned and all the ingredients seemed thrown together as if in a last minute rush. Kind of rustic; no seasoning or flavor. I chalked it up to first day jitters and tried the margherita crêpe a week later. Not burned but not great. Tried two of the dessert crepes. same thing. They aren’t traditional crepes so maybe that’s what my beef is? Over all it’s a nice change of pace from the usual pizza /chinese/sandwhich options for lunch, and with a range of 4.95−7.25 the prices can’t be beat. It’s really great that they have so many vegetarian options just don’t go expecting real crepes and you’ll probably enjoy. I just found out there is a flagship store with more of a selection so ill give them a try too.

Crêpe Town is a great addition to the 1500 block of Spring Garden, which is overrun by pizza places. The food is delicious, their portions are good and the shape of the wrapped crêpe is as fun as eating an ice cream cone. The service is also quick and friendly. It’s nice to see that they have many vegetarian options and a separate section on the menu. They also offer many different cheeses. But the one that I’d really like to see is Daiya cheese, which is vegan. If they add this to the menu, I’ll update my review to 5 stars! If you’ve never had a crêpe before or are just bored of pizza and sandwiches, I’d suggest giving Crêpe Town a try.
