Convenient stop for workday breakfasts and lunches — connected to Suburban Station concourse and several office buildings. Wide variety of food and beverages, and they give you a free espresso shot in your morning coffee, which is a great pick-me-up. LOVE their lobster bisque! Only issue I’ve had is that service can be slow at times, but the food makes up for it.

I work in this building so I know the staff at Café Coco well. This place can be a mad house during the peak rush hours. The staff always asks about your day and come to learn your favorite so you can order ‘the usual’. The place is clean and the service is very quick. I highly recommend their pizzas and salad, they are always fresh and filling. it’s nice that there is tv to occupy your time when waiting for your food order or if you are eating at one of the small tables. The updated television screen menus make ordering easier as everything is well organized and easy to see. I frequent this place at least once a week.

Café Coco is a breakfast and lunch and catering spot in the heart of Center City. I haven’t had a meal here for a long time and recently came back for breakfast. I didn’t remember they have La Colombe coffee, which is a plus in my eyes and all these healthy breakfast sandwiches made with egg whites. I was on my way to work and took a sandwich already in hot case but, you can get a fresh sandwich made. I had egg white, cheese, turkey bacon on whole wheat english muffin. it was very good and satisfying. I shall come back and get a sandwich freshly made. They even do catering.

I have been working in the bldg where this place is located. Staff is friendly. Food is great and they will make you whatever you would like. They are always upgrading and trying new things. Personally, I love their soups, breakfast sandwiches, lunch specials every day, etc. They will make omelettes too! I dont know ANYWHERE that makes omelettes custom made for you in a quick deli like this. Custom salads too. Needless to say, I eat there a lot.

Staying at the Westin nearby we found this a great place for bagels and excellent coffee with very reasonable prices. Notwithstanding what others said, the staff was very friendly and accommodating both times we ate there.

I disclose I am not a germaphobe. I needed to start with that this bc i would want to know what I see over and over and it is what is going to stop me from going back. Ive been a handful of times bc its reasonable prices and fairly good product but I cant overlook these things anymore. Ppl wearing gloves, touching lunch meat, then grabbing bagels, knives etc. Just bc u wear gloves doesnt mean you cross contaminate. The butter knife goes in the jelly jar over and over that is crusted over with old butter. I mean come on! And this stuff is all in front of the customers, what do they do behind closed doors. They really need to train the staff better. Its always a cluster in there. No organization ever.

I get the turkey bacon extra crispy on a bagel with light cream cheese as a staple in the morning. I have also tried the chicken salad. Very good. The prices can’t be beat and the service is excellent. They recently upgraded the place and it looks fantastic. Great coffee bar and improved selections. Best place for the money.

I work at Sunoco CORP for over 10 years and love this place. But it seems to have gone down hill in the past few years.

Epic fail. I should have known better after my kinda-sorta-bad experience the first time. I stopped by to pick up a toasted english muffin. I saw a sign for grits — $ 1.99. So I ordered that too. The lady scooped and scraped the grits from the bottom of the steam-pan and then shouted, «Guys, we’re gonna need more grits!». But she had enough for my order. When I ate it back at my office the grits were so salty I literally spit out the first bite and trashed it. Meanwhile, the english muffin was barely toasted and flabby. I called them — and they have agreed to refund my $ 1.99 when I stop in tomorrow — but that will be the last time I come here. So disappointing. Many of my colleagues come here every day and love it — but they are now 2 for 2 in the«bad» category with me.

The location is great, breakfast sandwiches are a great value, and catering seems to be really good… that’s as good as it gets. I feel like their lunches are way overpriced and the way the place runs is ridiculously unorganized. There’s 4 or 5 people back there and no one seems to be following the same process.

I started going to Café Coco when I started my new job in the city. I passed it every day walking to work and it was convienent. Their breakfast is pretty tasty and the price is right – $ 2 for a bagel with cream cheese. I recently decided to go there for lunch and see how it was. Lunch turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. I am a big fan of eating salads for lunch and typically go to SaladWorks which gets expensive. The salad was full of fresh ingredients and it was very reasonably priced as well. The people are nice and always take a minute to offer a smile and ask how your day is going. I would definitely recommend Café Coco.

Café Coco: a perfect example of why I trust Unilocal over Google Maps any day of the week. I was travelling to Philly for business and wanted to prepare a breakfast order so I would have something to eat when I got to the office. Found a few places on Google Maps, but Café Coco easily stood out with its 4-start rating, so I gave it a chance. Ordered an eggwhite omelet with turkey, cheese and tomatoes and a whole-wheat bagel with very little butter. Nothing fancy. (First problem was that they had trouble understanding that I might want turkey in my omelet; they asked if I wanted turkey sausage instead. Not a big deal.) When I got there, the space seemed pretty ordinary. Didn’t care about that too much though; what I was more peeved about was the bagel with a ton of butter and the total non-omelet I got. I got scrambled eggwhites topped with cheese, topped further with turkey sausage and completed with tomatoes. Not quite what I expected. The price was really nice, though. With that said, I recommend this place for a cheap and regular meal.

the only good thing about this place is the price. The staff are rude and just expect you know there is a minimum limit on the charge cards of 10 bucks. They are not only rude to the customer they are terrible with their own staff treating them like idiots. I was really turned off by this place.

This should more aptly be named«a tale of two Coco’s.» Café Coco is the little deli in the basement of my office building. It’s a little dated in décor(what with the neon lights and metal«ice cream parlor» chairs reminiscent of 1990(or Rachael’s Nosheri). The place is small and the selection seems smaller, with a few breakfast pastries out and a small grill for egg sandwiches. Prices are reasonable. And that’s where the story of Café Coco, the mediocre deli in the basement of the Mellon Bank Center ends. Then there’s Café Coco, the catering. Thick, hearty chili. Make your own salads with TONS of ingredients(two types of chicken salad AND grilled chicken??? Mozzarella balls galore???), tasty, not-too-vinegary pasta salad. And all sorts of assorted panini. Boy, when lunch comes in from Coco, I just have to smile. Funny thing is, despite how much I enjoy the office lunches from here, I never do make it down there for a quick sandwich. Must be something about the lights…
