Came here with a group of friends for my birthday celebration and I must say the wings were BEYONDAMAZING! My favorite was the soy garlic and the special fried chicken. I’m curious what other great food this restaurant has. I definitely recomend Café Soho!

Food is awesome. I usually always start with the seafood pancake and then get wings. The service here sucks. It takes so looooong for the food to reach the table. But once you get it it’s guaranteed tasty.

Best Korean fried chicken wings in philly. Love the soy garlic. Spicy is way too spicy for me. But I heard it’s tasty. Love getting the shaved ice in the summe!

I’ve been coming to this place for about 5 or 6 years now and each year they have been HIKING up the price for LESS. Since business has been booming over the years they are starting to get a tad bit stingy. It used to be a large, 20 wings for $ 20. Now it’s like 18 wings for $ 22ish. Not sure about the small size, but I THINK it used to be 10 for $ 10, now its 10 for $ 12? Don’t get me wrong I love their wings and it is definitely worth it but the price is a killer and so is the service. I’ve dined in a few times and the service is slow. The servers are not attentive. They do not check on you if you need anything or if the food is okay. For example, if you need napkins or something to drink, you literally have to try and flag one of the servers down. Anyway, since the service isn’t that great, I prefer getting take out. And unfortunately the service plays a large role in getting take out too. For some strange reason, I usually have to call multiple times for someone to answer. The phone does ring, it’s just no answer. A few times, someone would pick up then hang up on me. It’s just so weird. It really shouldn’t be difficult just to order take out. Overall, the food tastes great but service and the amount of food you get for the price isn’t great like it used to be.

Always craving korean wings and Café Soho is the solution. Went here a couple times but this time the quality of the wings went down. Before the wings were bigger and now its slightly smaller and over fried. The flavor is still good but not as spicy as before which I don’t mind. The rice cake with dumplings and cheese was amazing. Would order that again. The seafood pancake was good too. One thing was the service, seems only one waitress was really working while others were just standing around.

Visited a friend in philly and she took me here to try the wings since I’m a big fan of Korean wings – and omgadddd it was AMAZINGGG!!! Super crispy and packed with so much flavor. I’ve searched and tried other places back home in Houston but nothing comes close :( This is a must try if you’re in the area.

Me and husband when here our anniversary night. Since I am with child I have not had any drinks but they seem delicious from afar. But the food was delicious we are coming back for sure. We first ordered wings. The best wings ever. Also my favorite place for squid now it was not chewy or over cooked it had the right cook and it was spiced correct. We ordered a lot of food everything was good. And next time we will order more.

It had gotten pretty bad. I liked it when I visited last year. When I ordered, they must have given us a day old chicken. Tasted bad. Don’t go here. Try it make it at home.

Boyfriend and I ate dinner here on a Saturday night around 6:00PM and it wasn’t too crowded. We ordered 3 dishes and a pitcher of light beer. 1) The large Soho Chicken, half soy sauce and half spicy sauce. The spices were good and I liked the heat but I felt like the skin to meat ratio was way off. It was pretty noticeable. Not enough meat, yo. Mad for Chicken in K-Town in Manhattan does a great job with their ratio and so does Bön Chon Chicken also in Manhattan. 2) Stir-Fried Spicy Pork & Veg. — this was very tasty! My favorite out of the three. A delicious combination of sweet and spicy. It could have used rice because the sauce was so good. And the potion size was great. 3) Spicy rice cake with seafood — this was very good. The sauce made the dish and reminded me of when my mother cooked this for me when I was younger. One disappointment was that when we asked for a to-go container for all 3 dishes, the waitress gave us 3 containers meant for chicken. meaning the sauces in the 2 dishes would have spilled out all over. Since we couldn’t get the waitress’ attention, I had to walk to the front and asked for a proper plastic container with a lid. A different waiter wrapped everything up for us in the back which is what they should have done for us in the first place. I understand that you’re busy lady, but use some common sense/have consideration. All in all, I’m glad I got to experience this restaurant.

My friends and I came here for some late night food. It was my first time here and I can say honestly, it didn’t disappoint. We got a basket and a half of the soy garlic wings, half a basket of spicy wings, fries, udon, a huge pitcher of blue moon(filled 8 glasses), a mango soju, and a watermelon soju. The wings were so good– I only had the soy garlic ones. The skin on the wings were so crispy crunchy! I’ve never had wings so good. All the other foods were good as well. Only thing is that there’s no parking lot, so I guess if you come during an earlier, busy time, it’d be a bit hard to find street parking.

The spicy wings here are oddly addicting even though it feels like my mouth is burning off. I usually compensate by ordering half spicy wings and half soy(you can only do half and half for the large 20 piece!) I come to Café Soho pretty often, but ordered their seafood pancake for the first time the other day. DELICIOUS. I’m not a huge fan of seafood pancake, but I think I liked it almost as much as the chicken! The atmosphere is fun, but a bit difficult to have conversation because they have multiple tv’s throughout the restaurant blasting kpop music videos.

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place yet because I have been here multiple times because I live somewhat close to this neighborhood. I ordered take out recently and takeout is probably my top choice when it comes to soho. Because honestly, I am not fond of actually being inside. The atmosphere always feel so dingy inside. This is probably because the tables and the booths are very greasy to touch. The service is a hit or miss. I have had wonderful service to service where I wished I never came back but I would say generally, it’s alright. The chicken is great. I love the way they cook it and flavor it. However, it is sometimes hard to tell the difference between the spicy ones. I order sweet chili and spicy once and couldn’t distinguish the two. Everything else on the menu seems not worth it because it is so expensive. You can definitely get the same thing around the area for way less. TLDR: Chicken is great, everything else is meh. Takeout preferred. Sit-in, hit or miss.

Pretty sure you’ve read through all the reviews saying how Soho is the best korean fried chicken joint in town. I won’t be redundant then :) Must try: $ 12 for small(10 pieces) $ 20 for large(20 pieces) — soy sauce chicken — spicy(but only if you can handle the heat ;) — fried seasoned chicken(aka sweet and spicy sauce) [3.5 stars] As solid as their wings are though, I can’t give 4 stars and above because… 1) of how stingy they’ve gotten over the years as business has increased. I’ve been coming to this place since 6 years ago. I was disappointed being told the complimentary barely water was discontinued. 2) no more little packaged wet wipes for cleaning our hands. we were only given 5 thin napkins for a group of 6 with 52 wings on the table. Had to ask the waitress 3 – 4 times for napkins during the meal. Overall, great place for wings but I would encourage the business to be more considerate towards their customers.

This place is a shithole. It is a ghetto ass joint. It’s what wanna-be bougie Americans with no money think something«classy» should be, and it’s embarrassing. I went here with two friends because one of them heard it was the best Korean fried chicken in town. It’s just a wing place. That’s it. The décor screams«THISISWHATYOUTHINK A HIGHENDKOREANESTABLISHMENTSHOULDLOOKLIKE!!!», all bright reds and black, glossy, flashing lights, flat screen TV’s playing k-pop. When we went in I was overwhelmed with the smell of pickled foods. It smelled like rotting pickles, basically. The floor was slippery and sticky. We sat down and our waitress explained that because they(allegedly) individually sauce every order of wings it takes up to half an hour for each order; and that they had some sort of ‘special’ approach that made the wings extra crispy. Like many others have expressed, it is overpriced to the extreme. $ 20 for 18 wings is ridiculous, and they are mostly breading. There was absolutely nothing special about the taste. Basically they expect you to pay more and wait longer for sub-par food. If this place were in New York City I would assume it was a tourist trap.

I love this place so much. I think this is the best Korean style fried chicken I’ve had since I left Korea. I don’t know how they do it, but they manage to make the wings so crispy on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside. I also love how spicy the hot wings are. Just as a warning, the hot wings are not for those who aren’t acclimated to spicy foods. It’s really freakkin spicy. But if you’re craving something spicy, it really hits the spot. Only complaints: overpriced for what it is in my opinion. Also, the rap videos on the giant tv’s everywhere are downright nasty at times. I don’t want to stare at butts while I eat my chicken.

Got some wings to go as part of our Korean trifecta of restaurants that are in a 1 block radius. «The special, sweet and sour» sauce ones were very good. Would like to try other sauces, but we only got a small order(10 for $ 12), so you only get one choice. I can get basically the same thing(maybe even better ones) @ Maat Zip and they are 12(sometimes 13 –14) for only $ 10.The side of pickled radish(not spicy) was delicious and refreshing. Call ahead, and wings are ready to pick up in 30 minutes. The atmosphere is really cool. Love the images on the ladies and men’s rooms. We hung out to watch a video of a girl singing a really nice song & playing guitar. Wasn’t the usual K-pop stuff, more jazzy; almost like bossa-nova. My critical musician friends dug it

I’ve tried most of the major chains, Bonchon, Boom Boom, Kyochon, Kono, etc. and now Soho! Soho is by far one of my favorites! My waistline is afraid Soho will become a weekly thing. Went with the beau for an early dinner on a Saturday. Around 6pm there were only a few other people dining in.(It picked up as the evening went on) — street parking was easily found around the block — a bit of a shady area — but kfc made me put on a brave face and hold my bf’s hand harder/walked faster to the restaurant. Promptly seated, perched myself towards the big screen to watch my fav. kpop music videos and got down to looking at the menu. Cold water jug promptly placed with glasses. Server was nice. We ordered(too much food): Bulgogi dubap Pork cutlet Lg. padahk half soy half spicy OB Beer Sapporo Beer Beers were nice and cold, bottled.(They offer pitchers of 2 types of beer… blue moon and i think miller/something similar.) The bulgogi wasn’t my fav. Too much green peppers… i hate green peppers. I’m a purest, green onion or onion only. The beef was tender though. Probably would not order again. Pork cutlet was gooood — loved that the sesame seeds were ground table side. Would order again, bf liked it lots. Padahk came out relatively quick(it’s boneless, less time to cook i’d imagine) — it was SOOOOO good. It looked amazing on the plate, smelled mouth watering, and I totally did the happy dance in my seat. WARNING: Spicy was SPICY. I’m Korean, love my spicy Korean food, but even for me my eyes were watering, my nose sniffling, and lips tingle. Bf doesn’t do spicy on that level so I suffered alone for a bit, haha. The soy garlic was delicious though, bf loved it… as did I… full plate of that next time.(with maybe a side of the spicy, lol) Service is typical Korean. Non intrusive, if you need something — hit the button on the table which will let them know you need service — otherwise they won’t come over to you too readily. Water jugs on the table is very typical in Korean restaurants as well… not at all unprofessional? as someone said. Just a matter of education I suppose. Take that review with the grain of salt. Ambiance was pretty neat, our seats were lined with comfy pillows. It was very clean as well. Price is on par with other places. I loved it, we loved it, we don’t mind paying for something we love.(it’s all relative) Loved the kpop music videos and of course the music — my bf’s a good one… lets me have my «Korean date day» so we rounded out dinner with a sweet(or two, or three!) from Paris baguette around the corner. :) We will most def. be making this a regular spot when our kfc craving hits! See you there!

A must try place, I’ve been here a couple times and each time the food has been consistently tasty. Me and the hubby love us some saucy chicken and I’ve eaten here way back when, so upon returning I was hoping it was as good as I remembered and it didn’t dissapoint. Upon entering you feel like you’re in a night club/lounge scene lots of leather(red leather), bad LED lighting and Korean trendy music blasting but it all adds to the experience. When you sit down you automatically get water, I feel it’s room temperature so always ask for a cup of ice as well. The menu isnt much to run on about and specialty drinks like smoothies and bubble tea are half the cost of a large wing order so it’s best to spend your money on the meat! If you spend time browsing through the five page menu you will regret it! Because the wings take an extremely long time! You can’t pre-order and there is no RSVP either. The wings are worth the wait! Breaded to a crispy perfection, each wing is hand brushed with sauce evenly not drowned and tossed in a large bowl and they aren’t tiny portions either and paired well with pickled radishes. Overall what they are known for is what they do best, the soju is also very good but very expensive. So if you want some great craving filling wings go here! And if you want to splurge add on some of the specialty beverages. Just be prepared to wait for a crispy perfection and enjoy some KPOP in the meantime.

This was my first Korean Fried Chicken experience and it was NOT good. First off, this place is entirely too expensive for the quality of food. $ 22 for 18 buffalo wing sized wings is a rip-off! I got the large order of wings, half soy garlic and half sweet chili, and I could barely tell the difference between the two. The chicken wasn’t seasoned, it was fried too hard, and the chicken for the soy garlic wings was old! The sweet chilli wings were okay but after about 4 wings in I gave up and fed the rest to my brother’s dog!

Came here from nyc to visit cousins, the seafood pancake was less than mediocre but everything else was bomb! Soy chicken wings were the perfect flavor and skin was thin like a potato chip. Seafood udon noodles were my favorite, delicious and saucy. Never ate udon like this! Citron tea, potato twist, and beef dumplings were great as sides. Cool chill vibe. Overall pretty impressed since nyc has plenty of spots similar to this. Recommend!

Fried chicken heaven. Not your typical chicken joint as it’s Korean owned and run with modern, club-like atmosphere, blasting KPOP with huge flat screen TV’s on all sides playing KPOP mv or sports. The fried chicken also is not your typical fried chicken. It’s been deep fried twice(as I’ve been told) and from the look of it, has a smoother, cleaner appearance than the typical breaded fried chicken look. And it’s crunchy. Satisfyingly crunchy. There’s only two sizes(small $ 10 and large $ 20) of fried chicken and even though there’re a few options of flavors, I always go with the soy sauce and spicy. Be forewarned though, the spicy is really spicy. So spicy you’ll need beer to help cool you down(which they do serve). The soy is just really tasty and not overly salty or oily. In fact, their fried chicken doesn’t feel greasy at all. I don’t know how they do it but it has a clean taste to it, with a crunch. Huh? Yeah, I’m confused too but believe me, it’s possible… apparently. Your order comes with Korean pickled radishes which I recommend you eating with your fried chicken because it compliments it perfectly with a cool, sweet touch to your hot and meaty bite. Service is ok and this place will get busy after 6pm so just a heads up but you shouldn’t have problems finding a table. I’ve been to several Korean style fried chicken and I must say this place is the best(better tasting than Bonchon and BBQ Chicken). Beer selection is very small. Their smoothies are pretty good if not a bit overpriced. There’s no parking lot and about 3 – 4 parking spots on the street directly in front of the restaurant but on 5th, there’s street parking or park in the parking lot with the small strip mall but don’t park too close to the 7 – 11, I’ve heard people get their cars towed there. Best bet is to park on the street. My only and biggest complaint of this place is their schedule. I’ve been here at least 10 times, of those 10 times, 4 of those times they were not opened during their stated operating hours. I also live much closer to their new location(Blue Bell) but according to the owner, it is permanently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays which the website( Unilocal, etc.) failed to mention and when I called and reached their voicemail, there was no mention of it being closed so I was a little annoyed when I got there and saw that it was closed. I’d strongly suggest you call in before you head here. If they pick up, it’s opened, otherwise, count it as closed for the day. Parking: Limited street parking Price: $ 15+ per person Wait: 30 mins after ordering

Love love their spicy wings. It’s double fried but not greasy. The flavor is so good that you want to keep eating it despite the spice building up. I have tried other flavors but still resort back to the spicy. When they first opened, you got more for your money but they have scaled back since they got popular. The place is always packed though. The décor is contemporary with Korean music videos blasting from the TVs all around. The location could be better. There is only street parking and it’s hard to find around. They get so much business that they don’t take reservations. The closest you will get to a reservation is that you can call and say you are coming with a large party but they will tell that you to have somebody there on time to secure the table. Either way my family and i will be back because we absolutely love the wings. The service is always very good too :)

Came back again and had a chance to dine in. Service was actually quite nice — Food came out reasonably quick and the server was friendly and checked on us periodically. The chicken wings were crisped to perfection as always. Got a mix of soy and hot, and both were flavored well. A friend also ordered a spicy rice cake dish with cheese on top. Strange combo, but it works! It had just enough spiciness to keep me coming back for seconds. All in all, it was a very good dining experience. So good in fact, that I updated this review! Food was satisfying and the dine-in service was on-point. Korean music was still a little loud, but not distracting. Star bump!
