This place is great — very good food and warm atmosphere. Vegan chicken salad and strawberry/banana smoothie are quite good. The place just moved to the old Upsal Train Station which was the Point of Destination Café until recently. I can’t wait to get back and try other offerings on the menu.

I had to attend a meeting in East Falls and then a conference call immediately after the meeting so, per my usual, I checked Unilocal for the closest café. I am not too familiar with East Falls but saw that this place fit the description of what I was looking for and headed over to it. First of all– on staff friendliness this place deserves 5 stars. The man who was working today was the nicest person I encountered in weeks! He was not only patient with my indecisive ordering but then brought me several samples of their food and drinks to try while I was doing work at a table. I just wished I had some cash on me to tip him(I’ll make up for it when I go back). I had the sweet potato curry soup and a spinach and strawberry salad. He took the soup out of the fridge and microwaved it which at first made me worried but it really was delicious. The salad was good too. They don’t brew their own coffee but instead have self-serve pots and a keurig machine for you to use. I got the tea. My only real complaint was that the music was really loud for a Tuesday at 3pm. I was the only one in there at the time trying to get work done but it was definitely a bit of a distraction. The food is better than the coffee offering(I sampled the vegan chili and a drink called«green» something?) I would definitely stop back next time I’m in the area to try more of what they have.

This café was so warm and welcoming it felt like a shelter from all of the flooding madness of the world. Or course, all of the roads were flooded, and I had already spent three hours trying to get from East Norriton to University City, so that may have contributed to the feeling. Stopping in at the Café at the Mills totally turned my morning around. After hours in the car in bumper to bumper traffic we walked into a small, friendly café in the Sherman Mills complex near the Ballet and Ground Zero. We were welcomed with genuine warmth and were thrilled to see a variety of breakfast and lunch choices, with many vegan options. The menu included vegan sausage and bacon, bagel sandwiches, a hummus and avocado sandwich, and a variety of vegan pastries. I went for vegetarian chicken-salad on whole wheat bread. The sandwich was hearty and well-seasoned, with fresh lettuce and tomato, and came with a side of veggie-chips. We setup our laptops and enjoyed our traffic-induced brunch. Far from being disturbed by a couple of laptops taking up one of his four tables, the proprietor brought us two delicious vegan scones to try on the house. The scones were made with cashew butter and raisins, and were ludicrously moist and tasty. I definitely plan to return to the Café at the Mills without further diluvian prompting, and I’d recommend you give it a try as well. Really nice people, with yummy food.

New to the area & wanted to try local coffee shops– this place came up as a coffee& tea shop. While they sell coffee its starbucks coffee, which I like, but I could just go to starbucks for that. I did order a breakfast sandwich & it was delicious! All natural & healthy ingredients. I would go back for lunch, still searching for a good local coffee shop

Tried this today after they brought in food for one of my coworkers to sample. The owner is incredibly nice. I had the gazpacho(very good) the cush salad(good) and the vegan chorizo stuffed peppers(amazing) I can’t wait to order lunch from here!!!
