Bumble Beads

When I see a piece of jewelry that I like, my first insinct is to ask myself «can I make that?» I recently got inspired when watching an episode of Pretty Little Liars. The earrings I noticed on the episode were simple and beautiful: a long silver drop extending to a round piece of abalone. I could certainly make something like this, I thought.
I waltzed into this store for the first time last week, on a Friday afternoon. After looking around, I couldn’t find quite the right finding for the silver part of my design. I described the finding to the store manager. She drew what I described on a sticky pad, then offered to make it for me out of sterling silver for the fairly reasonable price of $ 8/​pair. I was able to return to the store before closing to pick up my order. They did a fantastic job and I’m very happy with my semi-​homemade earrings.

Location wise, they are right on Germantown Ave in Chestnut Hill. I’ve always been able to find parking.
