Delicious ice cream(and coffee) is a nice addition to this part of pennsport. The flavors are mostly classic with a few originals thrown in(tiramisu and«dirt» cake were the ones that stood out on my last visit.) Prices were super reasonable and the regular size was so much ice cream I could barely finish it. Cute place, will be back!

I went in today for ice cream, but mostly to support another Pennsport biz(it’s COLD). I’ll be going back, but simply because it’s within walking distance to my house. There were two kids manning the shop today and I felt like I was interrupting a Star Craft party. They got my order wrong and there was a boyfriend and girlfriend scene in the front window – if it was my business I’d want to know – you have the easiest job in the world(granted, low paying but easy) and you’re throwing teen angst into the air like scripted MTV… man, I almost forgot that the ice cream was tasty. Little Baby’s in Kensington is the best ice cream in Philly right now. I miss Strange Brew.

BCBC is a new coffee shop in the Pennsport area, just down the street from Herron Playground. They just had their Grand Opening a couple of weeks ago, and I couldn’t be more excited about this place. It’s bright and inviting, kid– and wifi-friendly, and the farm theme is really fun. The coffee is great, and maybe if you’re lucky, the baristas will treat you with some latte art! The ice cream? Premium, homemade, and local from Shady Brook Farm. Seriously, go try some. Be careful not to fall in love with a seasonal flavor, because their flavors will change.(But by all means, fall in love with the ice cream. It’s really good. My personal faves are cappucino chip and coconut.) A little birdie told me that the Pumpkin ice cream is going on vacation soon, but Peppermint will be in to take its place.

Went to Brown Chicken Brown Cow for the first time today to celebrate their grand opening! Ice cream is great! and the owners are super friendly and nice! Coffee is also delish :) I am picky about my coffee so it was nice to get a good cup. There is also come nice sitting room and it is an overall nice environment to enjoy a cup of coffee or some ice cream. I would highly recommend it!

What a great spot! We stopped in to grab some coffee and celebrate their Grand Opening. The coffee was tasty(which is saying a lot because I am super picky when it comes to my coffee). My husband had the Graham Cracker Ice Cream which he could not stop raving about. The décor is super cute, and they really do serve up smiles! It’s an easy walk from the United Artists movie theater on Columbus Blvd — planning on a movie/ice cream date night soon!
