I like it here. I work in Bala so it’s extremely convenient to my office. I’ve been going here since they opened a couple years ago. I can run over for a quick mani, pedi or eyebrow wax and be back in my allocated hour. Assuming I find parking. «Darlene» is the owner I think. She’s really nice. I went there this past Friday when it was raining and I was the only person there. I was badly in need of a manicure and needed my brows shaped. She did both in about 40 minutes and did an excellent job. She talked me into a purple polish which is soooo not my normal pale pink that I usually opt for but I love it! I read what the other reviewer said about the thinner and that does suck. I have never had a bad experience here, though personally.

I was in desperate need of a polish change for tomorrow so I treated myself to a lunchtime manicure on Main St. I had a terrible experience at Cinderella nails(my natural nails were buffed *painfully* paper thin and I had to apply a special treatment for 4 weeks to strengthen them), so I tried Brenda Nails. $ 12 for a manicure, I picked out a shimmery light pink OPI polish and sat down with a friendly man who seemed like an owner/manager. Everything was going well until I washed my hands and noticed the guy putting thinner into the polish I picked out. It totally ruined the lacquer, making it runny and extremely translucent. Overall, totally not worth the money. I might as well have painted them myself with a $ 1 bottle of Wet ‘N Wild.
