He makes a well seasoned fish and the salad is very good he’s very creative and he thinks about taste he introduced Beets to my salad. I even got candy as extra. Reasonably priced. I eat from there frequently. Good service.

Decided to give this cart a try the other day and ordered the meat lover’s special, which is lamb and chicken over rice with a kofta with salad, chips, and a soda for $ 7 and totally tasty! I asked for a pita and he hooked it up, no extra charge. Everything was great, so I came back the following week.
Not so great the second time around. No kofta. And while he offered extra lamb to make up for it, it just wasn’t as good. I don’t think it was just the missing kofta, something else was different. I’m not sure what it was, but it just didn’t taste as good as the previous week. Maybe not as fresh. Don’t know.
They have an excellent selection of soda, including some less common varieties.

There are a lot of choices for your Gyro/​Halal/​Chicken and rice trucks in this area, and this is the first one I’ve seen offer $ 1 off for checking in on Unilocal!
$ 5 for chicken and rice, with small salad and 1 canned soda is pretty solid for center city. This is my favorite hot sauce I’ve had so far compared to other trucks, this one is actually spicy which I enjoyed. The serving size seems to be a bit smaller, for I finished the entire box which I never do! Chicken was tender, had a nice curry type flavor to it. I wouldn’t hesitate to come here again — but nothing that blew this truck out of the water compared to others I frequent

I feel like i’m cheating on my cart at 13^th and Walnut, but MAN BisMillah know’s what they’re doing. I ordered the chicken over rice and it was delicious. The gentleman is nice and has a conversation with every single customer he serves. This is definitely not your typical grab n go cart.
— The chicken was great. Small enough pieces and juicy. I definitely could tell it was prepared fresh.
— You get plenty of rice too, which anyone knows is half the battle when ordering at a cart in the city b/​c you just never get enough, but here he gives you plenty!
— He asked me whether I wanted onions and jalapeño peppers on top and I said «heck yea!». I never had a cart meal with those toppings before and i liked the added crunch and heat.
— One thing i enjoyed the most was how he gives each one of his customers whatever amount of sauce they want. No skimping here. The red sauce is not super spicy so don’t be afraid to try it.
It takes some time to get your meal since he does take his time with each customer, but I don’t care! His food’s great and he’s really nice. what’s not to love?
In the category for best chicken and rice food truck in the city… You win! I’ll be back!

Jabron is the best! He told the fish was good, but I was skeptical because I love the chicken. Welp today I got to the truck kind of late and all he had left besides falafel and lamb was fish. This was the best seasoned fish ever besides my moms (lol)!

there customers as well as correcting a mistake if any. the food is proper and also very affordable excellent location. highly recommended.

Got the falafal over rice.
–The dude takes a while, so its not usual food truck 5 seconds grab and go, but its because the falafals are fresh and fried on the spot. This made such a difference compared to other trucks.
–The red sauce isn’t mouth jarringly spicy which, as much as I love spicy, I like so that I’m not dying throughout my meal. The white sauce is more liquidy. I kinda prefer the thick consistency. I overheard from regulars ask for a special chili sauce which I requested and it was like a really spicy green Mexican salsa.
-$ 5 (and -$ 1 by checking in onto Unilocal) got me 5 falafal balls, rice, veggies, and a soda and I’m stuffed!
Overall good price, fresher than other trucks, and nice guy! :D

It’s my first time eating a Lamb gyro and it was great. plus the service was awesome. Nice place I’ll try it again.

Passed by this cart a few times to/​from Suburban and finally got to try a few Fridays ago. Was delighted to find a $ 1 deal when I checked in! They didn’t have a whole lot of vegetarian options, but not many Halal trucks do so it’s cool! Decided to get a falafel gyro and got one for my coworker as well. The guy was so nice, he let me use the $ 1 coupon on both gyros. So, instead of $ 4 each, they came down to being $ 3 each. Unbeatable, and so nice of him! Also came with a free drink, which included Snapple. I was super excited to have some Diet Peach Snapple along with my meal, much to the chagrin (extreme word, but feel like using lol) of Aria S., who accompanied me here.
Now to the food! The gyro only came with 2 – 3 falafel balls and was lacking some veggies and as a result, some flavor. I hate to have to deduct a star because of this, but I was a bit let down and not very full :(. Nevertheless, I’m sure I could request a little more filling next time and I can’t complain much b/​c of the price!
I’ll def return to try out the rice and other options one day!

Well all I’ll say is wow, cox it was cheap, fresh and especially hygienic cox I’m a medical student and I’m very picky. i loved chicken over rice and would recommend to rice lovers, the guy working there was very cool. I’ll be visiting this place very often as long as I’m in Philly.

I got the lamb over rice here and it was incredibly good. Much better than dishes I’ve spent up to three times as much on in restaurants. This is my new go-​to spot near work.
