Great service, great price and really nice people! They could be a bit faster but I love my gel manicure and the price is amazing ($ 35 for gel manicure and change color on my toes). Highly recommend!

Calvin is great. Manicures last the typical two weeks. The pedicures are not great. The last time I went, the lady didn’t use a hot towel and more importantly, forgot to add a top coat on my polish. She was rushing through my pedicure for whatever reason. I do feel they are a bit pricey; I believe a pedicure is $ 35 and $ 25 for a gel manicure.

Nancy is the best manicurist ever. She was so kind and helpful. She took her time and wasnt rushing at all like other nail technicians i noticed. This was my first time and i will definitely be back soon.

Terrible experience! Horrible quality! Waited 3 hours, and had a reservation. Left and returned, to be told that I didn’t have a reservation! The little 9 yr old daughter of the owner found our names, and she sat us. The rest of the experience was disastrous! The pedi water overflowed, the woman cut off my real nails and began applying tips. She barely new English! Nails uneven, uneven application of gel made them bumpy. Two broke off in 2 days! The owner is a money hungry rude excuse for an owner! No wonder the employees are so rude, they are following the owner! Originally this place was run beautiful. But, since this phony lady took over, it’s been full of non-​English, sweat shop working, un professional amateurs trying to charge high prices to pay the rent! STAY AWAY FROM AMBIANCE NAIL SALON, on Butler Ave. In Philadelphia!!!

I tried this place about a month ago and was satisfied with my technician, Quinn. My regular mani and pedi lasted an average 2 weeks so I decided to try them again. I made the mistake of not asking for Quinn because I didn’t feel like waiting so I was assigned a male technician. Not only did I sense an attitude from him, he basically washed my feet and painted my toenails. My manicure wasn’t that great either. $ 45 and 5 days later, my nails are almost completely chipped and my pedicure looks a mess. I was going to go back but I didn’t feel like dealing with the hassle and if they tried to charge me again, it would have just made me angry. I’ll go back to my usual place.

Terrible! My friend and I waited for an hour and when we came back, they said they were closing. First off, they said they would call us when it’s our turn, which they never did. Then told us they closed at 6 when they actually closes at 5. Their attitude was non-​apologetic and terrible. What a waste of time! I do not recommend.

I have been coming here since they first opened. I love the place… it reminds me of a hotel spa. The staff are great, always remind me to get my loyalty card stamped for money off, great selection of colors. The pedicure chairs are the best I have ever seen. A little bit pricey for pedicures but average price for other procedures.

I was really excited to try this place but was rather disappointed. I went in for a gel manicure and polish change on my toes. I’ll start with the good points: place looked clean, lots of gel polish, nice selection of OPI polish, plenty of stations, no cuts when trimming cuticles, my tech spoke perfect English and was very nice.
Now the bad: came in 5 minutes after opening and had to wait 15 minutes to be seen. Really?! If you open at 9:30 your employees should be there and ready to go. Despite having many gel polishes to choose from they did not have a great selection of Shellac, OPI gelcolor, or any Essie gel. They had a few brands I’d never heard of. As for regular polish a lot of the colors had separated and seemed old. OK now onto the gel mani: it did not cure!!! I took my hands out of the light and the polish was wet and covered half my nail! We redid with a different gel and it was fine but I’ve never had that happen before. Weird.
And as I’m typing this I see my index finger has 2 little bubbles in the polish. Great.
I wouldn’t recommend this place and won’t be returning. If it wasn’t for cleanliness and friendliness I would give this place 1 star.

Started coming here with a friend. The experience has always been a delight. Relaxing atmosphere. Warm colors. Comfy chairs even in the waiting area.
Polite staff. They’re always willing to start a conversation but don’t go overboard to the point that you’re not relaxed anymore. I’ve had more laughs with some of these technicians that one should probably have at a nail salon.
A little on the pricey side but for the herbal spa pedicure it’s so worth it. Could sit there for hours.
You won’t regret coming here!

What a relief to find a truly relaxing nail salon. They take their time, but are completely competent at what they do. Never had a complaint! Best part, ladies, they have an English only policy for workers… We’ll never have to worry again lol.
I rarely say this, but I’m a loyal customer!

This place is a hidden gem. Have been there twice now and have been extremely satisfied both times with my gel manicure and pedicure. Very clean… lots of stations… beautiful décor… tons of color choices… they do a thorough and excellent job… this will now be my regular nail spot!

I have been here twice and its heaven. I get the shellac manicure and a jelly pedi or spa pedi with botanicals. The AMBIANCE (pun intended) is great, calming music, beautiful décor, huge collection of polished (OPI, Shellcac, Essie etc.) I get the gel nails and it last me weeks. The salon is also very clean, they use disposable liner and new tools on each client. Also while getting your nails done they massage your back. Couldn’t get any better. Ask for Vicky for eyebrows, and Hannah or Alex for nails. Hannah is so sweet she takes her time and holds great conversation.
