I’m borderline going to give this place 1 star but because it wasn’t the absolute worst sandwhich I’ve had it’ll get 2. Basically, my friends raved about this place so for my lunch I decided to try it out. I go there and ask for the italiano panini(chicken, sun dried tomatoes, mozzarella, pesto). I even specify on the pesto and sun dried tomatoes. THEN she blanks or something, makes me a turkey sandwhich. What the hell? I hate turkey. I hate fresh tomatoes. And I hate hate hate whatever that red pasty crap they smeared on it was. :(Basically, I got the sandwhich of my taste bud hell. I had to pick it apart. I didn’t want to go back up there and make a scene but I wish I had. I’ve felt queasy the rest of the day. Turkey. ICK. I kind of want a refund on my life but I did eat it, so I guess it deserves the 2 stars.

Best soup EVER! Sometimes I only want a soup and sandwich for lunch and I don’t want to walk all over creation to get it. This place is where Jon and I go for lunch when its extra cold or rainy and we want to meet at a place that’s pretty central to both our offices. The Amazon Café is nestled with many other quick stop lunch stands in the basement level of the Bellevue Hotel: «The Food Court». Sandwiches and soups abound here, but only at the Amazon Café, do the staff actually talk with you about what’s in their food and an individualized order isn’t looked upon with complete disgust. Try the tomato cheddar soup and a wrap sandwich with a vitamin smoothie. One of the best and quickest lunches EVER!
