Lousy service. Place was absolutely tacky (completer w/​super stained carpet and ugly do it yourself décor) and empty, but he pointed at a table by the coat/​storage closet to seat us. Glass was cracked! He tried the «sell water trick» as prior reviewer noted: bring a bottle & charge. Note that the beverages in the menu have no price listed. Spices listed in Russian side of the menu– garlic and cilantro — in description of dumpling were totally missing. Six dumplings listed on menu, but waiter served five with no explanation. When questioned, he said one got «messed up» and had to be thrown away and he’d adjust the price.
15% gratuity added w/​out my okay. I deleted that! Also cash required even though my check was presented in American Express payment folder.
Food presentation so sporty and sad and lame and unappealing. Not great food — Presentation and service means I can never go again.

I thought the food here was quite good. The prices were very reasonable. I would suggest eating family style. The khinkali are very good, and I would suggest getting some white vinegar for them. I forget which one it is, but get the khachaupir with egg and butter. We asked for tap water, but the waitress brought out sparkling mineral water. There may have been some sort of language barrier, but we weren’t charged for the water.

They are definitely getting their act together. Got takeout there couple of times lately, food was on time and prepared very well. Small quirks with the place seem to have been worked out.
