I received a bouquet for Mothers Day from my out of town kids. Half of the flowers have been snapped off their stems, and the rest of the flowers do not look fresh. I feel horrible that my kids probably spent a fortune for this sad looking arrangement. They said they would replace it… we’ll see.

I don’t typically write reviews but I just had to try and prevent others from going through the same experience I had with this florist. Do not use this florist! I ordered flowers as part of a Flower of the Month club through a national floral program. They select florists whom are part of their network. The flowers were for my parents and they died/were dying within a few days of arrival. By the time they died, and my parents notified me, and I notified the national floral company and they contacted Axelrod, they said it was beyond their 7 day freshness window and that they should have been notified prior to the 7 days. In addition, they said that they delivered them on a Friday(when no one was home for 3 days and I told them they couldn’t deliver until Monday) when they couldn’t have. They delivered them on Monday(no wonder they died). My parents had received about 7 or 8 floral arrangements from other florists under the Flower of the Month club and were very satisfied. This florist delivered flowers that died way to early for the price AND their customer service is horrible!!! I will never use this florist and I have instructed the national florist to not use them on my account and to consider using them at all. Use someone else, or your flowers will die…

Don’t ever purchase from here. I ordered flowers through FTD and they used this florist to fulfill the order. What was delivered didn’t match what was ordered(different color flowers), was smaller than what was ordered, and saving the best for last — the flowers in them were half dead! All for the price of $ 80. I can see why others gave them negative reviews. They said they would fix them the next day. A good business fixes them immediately no matter what time they close. Save your time and money and don’t purchase from this shop.

I received an FTD bouquet, that was priced at $ 100.00, from my kids for the loss of my dad. The flowers were supposed to be «exquisite», and they arrived looking pathetic. They didn’t arrive until after 3:00 pm, and I left them in my office and when I arrived at 6:30 am this morning they were already dying, wilted and I am furious. I contacted my kids and got the order number for FTD and reported it to them. I think FTD needs to find a much better florist to represent them.

The team managed a concern I had with 800-flowers with such GREAT professionalism. And when nothing was expected of them, they sent another bunch of REALLY beautiful flowers. GREATJOB!!!

I needed to send flowers for my boss to someone in Newtown. We live in Southern California. I chose Flowers by Axelrod, and I am very happy I did! She sends flowers every two weeks. The first few times, I chose an arrangement on-line. Then, I decided to call the florist. I gave them the budget and asked them to make something bright and cheery. My boss received a call from the husband of the recipient advising that the flowers are more beautiful with each delivery! Just thought I would share this. I totally recommend this florist!

This place is the worst. I received flowers from here for Valentine’s day which was a fiasco! The flowers were suppose to be delivered to my job on the 13th. Most places know business hours after several calls to the check status of the delivery we were told that the flowers would be delivered to my home. At 7:00PM I get a call from the delivery man that he was at my job delivery the flowers. I kindly advised him that he was at a place of business & what business hours were & that the flowers were to be delivered to my home as previously discussed. I texted him my home address & he said he was on his way. I work 10 minutes from my job. After an hour I became concerned & texted the delivery guy to see if he was lost. No response. Then the sender of the flowers called the delivery person to check status & the delivery person states that he is in Limerick & that he was going to deliver my flowers in the morning. I guess after a few choice words the delivery person was persued to deliver my flowers that evening & I recieved them about 10PM on Friday evening. However my flowers were dead w/in 72 hours. On 3÷13÷2015 I recieved another arrangement of flowers from this place for a special occasion 7 these flowerd are almost dead today 3 days later. All of the roses are wilted/dead. PLEASE dont waste your $$$ flowers are too expensive & this place clearly doesnt take pride in what they send to their customers.

I ordered flowers for a funeral from Express Flowers who went thru this florist. I got a call the afternoon after the funeral to tell me that the flower order was put in late and they couldn’t get them to the funeral home in time. I was told that the mother of the the deceased was contacted about what to do with the flowers. After talking to the mother, she was never contacted by anyone. So, my flowers never got there, I don’t know where they are or if they even were done. And I was still charged. I would NOT recommend this florist to anyone!

I received flowers on Valentine’s Day. The arrangement was fresh and beautiful and lasted a week. The delivery didn’t arrive until after 9:00PM, but it was Valentine’s Day, after all, and the delivery man was VERY apologetic.

My mom ordered flowers for me through 1−800-flowers and the order was filled by this florist. The delivery person arrived at my office and saw a note on the door telling our clients we were closed, turned around and left without trying the door(which was open) or seeing through the window that the lights were on and three people were sitting there. Someone from the shop called and spoke to my coworker about our being closed. My coworker explained we were closed to the public, but we were there working. The person from the shop asked why we were closed if we were there. I wasn’t aware the florist was supposed to judge your business. The delivery man turned around to actually deliver. Upon seeing me, he yelled, «what aggravation!» and when he handed me the flowers, he told me that we should have had a sign on the door that said we were there. Perhaps I will try that next time I receive a SURPRISEDELIVERY. Honestly, I would only use this florist if you want to inflict rudeness upon the recipient. It totally took away from my birthday surprise. And to make matters worse, there was a ton of extra water in the plastic wrap. It dripped all through my office and on my shoes. One final gift.
