I went here for several months because the location is very convenient for me. I only used them to clean dress shirts and pants, nothing complicated. However I noticed that pretty consistently one out of every three shirts came back with new stains. They were usually small brown spots around the buttons or collar. Despite the convenience, I will not return.

I decided to try out this cleaner with a really simple job: a single, white shirt with no stains(just needed a cleaning from wearing it a couple times). Dropped it off on a Friday and needed it by Tuesday. I give this place a 1⁄5(although you could extend the scale to 10, and I would still give it a 1) on two criteria: Customer service and Cleaning. Customer service: I was told to pick up my shirt on Tuesday(they couldn’t do it by Monday), and I was guaranteed that it would be done by the afternoon. The guy told me to come anytime after 2 pm. I decided to pick it up around 4:30, but I was informed it wasn’t ready yet and to come back around 5:30. Fine, that’s cutting it a little close, but I can still do that. Figured I’d just remind the guy that I needed it that day, especially since they close at 6:30(and I had a dinner arrangement at 6). All I needed was a simple acknowledgement, and I’d be on my way — Instead, I get talked back at, saying that it was out of his control and to come back later. Ok…5:30 rolls by, I drop in again, and alas, still no shirt. I’m getting a bit stressed and remind the guy that he guaranteed it would be done by that afternoon. Instead of any form of constructive feedback, I get yelled at(???). After thinking through my options, I proposed that he bring the shirt to the doorman upstairs(I live in the complex) so that I can pick it up after dinner(since he continued to claim that it would come by the end of the day). He agrees to do so(reluctantly, while still yelling) and tries to kick me out. Before I left, I figured that I’d let him know my apartment number so that he could tell the doorman who to save it for. Nope, he just goes belligerent, doesn’t listen, and just keeps trying to kick me out. I eventually manage to get him to write down the number, and I leave for my dinner appointment — not the afternoon I was expecting. In the end, it turned out the guy did come through and left my shirt with the doorman(although at that point, I’d had no expectations whatsoever and was pretty pissed at his attitude). Aaand for the cleaning job: Somehow, the buttons on one of my sleeves are cracked(had some parts that crumbled off, actually). I wasn’t even going to write this review had my shirt turned out fine, but nooope… TL;DR The guy who runs this place treats his customers horribly, and my shirt was damaged from his cleaning. Will not be returning.

They did a good job taking out stains that even I was a bit skeptical about. Their prices are quite reasonable, especially if you drop your clothes off on Wednesdays or Saturday.

Good local dry cleaning service — I dropped a shirt off here and they were able to get a stain out and replace a button within a day. It was a little extra than I expected, but they got the job done right. Nice to be able to get an alteration and cleaning in one place, most dry cleaners don’t do anything onsite these days.

My husband and I recently moved to Philadelphia and needed to have our professional clothes, professionally cleaned. This is right around the corner from our condo and we are really glad it’s so close! It is in the basement of what I believe is the 2400 Chestnut Apartment high rise; it faces 24th street. There is some street parking in front and a pay for parking lot to the side of the building should you drive here. The owners are super sweet and knowledgeable. I think the prices are moderate and on par with other dry cleaners. I think they do a great job and take out any stains or issues that may be on clothes. They also say that they are green cleaners too which is a great plus! We have also had alterations done for shirts and they turned out great! I highly recommend this dry cleaner and alteration location if you are looking for great service that is fast and friendly!

I think when it comes down to it, the only reason why I went to this cleaners was that they were located in the basement of my building. They’re a decent neighborhood cleaners and will clean just about anything you bring them. To be fair, I think their prices are a bit steep, and even though they take card, they strongly prefer you pay cash(even if you’re above the $ 15 credit card minimum). While the owners are nice, they don’t always get the job done. I remember needing two shirts for interviews cleaned and pressed and they didn’t take the stains out. That bugs me beyond belief. I would never ever trust them with alterations though(I have my guy for that). Frankly, I can’t imagine anyone other than those who live at 2400 who would use these guys to clean their clothes.

I like that they’re green, plus 10% off Wednesdays and Saturdays. I’ve only had shirts and pants cleaned here, to mixed results. Some stains out, others were still there, although I don’t know enough about dry cleaning to say whether that was more my fault or theirs(probably mine).

I’ve gotten my bridesmaid dress altered here for a RIDICULOUS price. I think they charged me like $ 45 or something along the line for a simple hem. They did an OK job. Definitely not worth $ 45. When I got my jeans hemmed here, it was a reasonable price of about $ 10, but it was so obvious that the hem was done crooked. I don’t think I’ll ever come back here.

The man who works there is really nice, but they did a terrible job of hemming my pants. I got them back and then immediately went out of town and had to wear them all weekend anyways. I had my pants taken up, tapered and the original hem put back on. The pants were still way too long, they were not tapered ATALL, and I could see exactly where the original hem was attached because it was sewn back on unevenly. I am definitely going somewhere else next time.
