Pogolino’s Pizza Place

This place is not on my favorites at all. Everything we ordered was horrible. Pizza tastes like cardboard and the wings had sauce but you couldn’t taste any flavoring. And toasted ravioli was freezer burnt.

Just had the potato treats, chef salad and the italian stallion pizza and loved every bite. The atmosphere was inviting and clean and service was top shelf. We will be back

Great Pizza here. I like the all-​meat specialty pizza they have. We did have to wait for around an hour for our food, but the waitress kept us informed the whole time so I appreciated it. I just wish they would have told us about the wait before we ordered. Other than the wait everything was good. The garlic cheese bread is always good too. If you’re into leftovers I wouldn’t recommend this pizza though. I’ve had it numerous times and it gets very soggy and just isn’t great,

I love me some pizza. I am not crazy about Imo’s. This pizza has really good trust with fresh and wholesome ingredients. They also have wonderful salads that make me feel all healthy. Check this place out if you are tired of the chains. I wish that they had a better drink selection, but that is my only complaint. I really do like the pizza.

Don’t bother looking at the menu. Just tell em I told you to get the Meatball sandwich!

We are here once a week for years! A place where the food is the best and your always treated like family! Wish they had a better variety of draft beer but that’s all I can complain about! Fresh pizza served hot and the sandwiches rock also! Don’t believe me give it a try! Ps you’ll go back!

Buyer beware. The pizza is great, but awful service. Website shows menu for Desoto location and even though it shows which items aren’t available at Festus location, it doesn’t say the prices are only good at Desoto.
A 5 topping pizza on the website is advertised for $ 20 and when I got there they wanted $ 27. I’ll try the Desoto location but not Festus again.

Pizza tastes fresh, oven-​baked, homemade, covered with quality ingredients. Loads of toppings in every bite!
Thin crust, dough is flavorless, but nice texture as it’s fresh from the oven and tastes wholesome, not greasy at all. I wish the crust had some butter or garlic flavor.
High value at a good price. You won’t spend too much, and it’s way tastier than chain delivery pizza.
The BBQ sauce base tastes awesome! The chicken and Canadian bacon are quality toppings.
Atmosphere is sorely lacking. The table settings and décor are so cheap and don’t live up to the quality of the fresh, flavorful food.
Beer selection is poor. A few domestics, and Blue Moon for «variety» …just Blue Moon.
We wanted salad before the meal, but nothing on menu looked worth ordering. Just the typical, bare minimum garden/​Caesar salads– nothing sounded special or inspired.
The dinner plates are silly small! I was laughing. No grown-​up sized plates?
Service and speed were wonderful, even though the place was packed, we felt well taken care of. There were several HUGE groups of people there, so it’s a perfect place for parties.
Waitress warned us that the wait for food would be 10 minutes longer than normal because of the big groups there, but we didn’t feel like we waited very long at all for pizza to come out.
Location is nice since you can walk to shops and bars on Main Street.
The logo (a clown on a pogo stick) and bowls of free cheap candy at the register made this place feel more like a family restaurant than a nice date place, even though the quality of the food is definitely date-​worthy!
We will definitely be back for more fresh, flavorful pizza! (Not for the atmosphere or beer or salad)

Have heard of this place for years but just recently had the chance to stop for pizza, and oh boy this joint gas it going on. At first I thought the price was a little high but after getting the pizza I realized that the price is cheap for what you are getting. Now that we have established that the price is good, I can say that the pizza is even better and probably the best I’ve had; at least I can’t remember any better! The service was great as well, I guess they have it easy with food this good everyone is always happy :)

Absolutely the best pizza in the St. Louis area! I really like the meat combo and the clown special. Their salads are really tasty and their potato treats are a treat for your mouth.

Pog’s is a pretty great place. I am NOT a fan of thin crust pizza, EXCEPT Pogolino’s. Great salad, great pizza, great mushrooms. Decent service. Unfortunately, they don’t deliver.

Great pizza! The sauce is excellent and just the right amount. Toppings are fresh and the pies are baked to perfection; nice crisp crust and hot melty toppings.

Nice casual family-​owned pizza place on main street Festus. Pizza is unique, not New York style, not St. Louis style. We usually get the «Stallion» or the «Clown Special» and both are great.

Great food, great service. In town from Minnesota and the pizza was as good as we heard it would be. If you enjoy thin crust pizza, this is for you. It was tasty, and nice and crispy

I love this pizza because of the thin crust. Pogs puts an unbelievably generous amount if toppings on their pizzas. Ingredients are fresh. This is so much better than any of the chain pizzas around!
But, my very favorite thing to eat here is the lasagna. They do it just right for me. I love the sauce on it. I like it a little cheesier and so I order with extra cheese.

The best pizza in the area. Everything is amazing. Hand tossed dough, amazing wings, salads, potato treats. You can’t go wrong with Pog’s.

Considering I don’t even like pizza but I gave this establishment 5 stars should be saying enough about how great the place is, but I’ll go on… the buffalo chicken pizza is amazing. I love that they use franks hot sauce & make their own ranch. I’ve ordered many things there & haven’t had a bad bite yet. The service is a little slow, but nothing to complain about. Staff is very friendly & the cooks don’t keep you waiting, the food is served fresh, hot, & fast.

BEST pizza in Missouri. Anytime I drive anywhere CLOSE to Festus, I pull the car over and take whoever I’m with into Pogs. Family owned since I was a kid, Pogs has always been one of those mom+pop places that reminds you of what American food was like before corporate food chains. All of the food is home-​made, hand-​tossed original crust, sauce. It’s by far one of the best sauce /​pizza I’ve had, even all over the world. There’s nothing like it.
ALWAYS order the potato treats, with sour cream. And a pizza too!!!
You won’t regret it!
