First visit and the food was great. The queso fries were very good. I had the OMG Philly and OMG it was good! My husband had the Hit italian hoagie and he said it was«very“good. The restaurant is now in our regular rotation of favorites.

It’s not often that you visit a restaurant and feel like the people who work there are like your extended family. Metro Grill not only has a great staff, but the food is outstanding. I also like that the owners take the time to meet and greet their customers. It’s all about customer service and they far exceed that as well as keep your belly full. If your in the neighborhood check them out.

Cool little family owned business, great service and amazing food. Very clean. Philly cheese steaks are amazing. Especially the bacon cheese steak with their home made queso. Homemade chicken fried steak is awesome.

The owner of this place is extremely polite and friendly, as well as the wait staff. My wife and I had burgers and they were just as good as any other place in DFW. Love little places like this!!! Great place to stop if you’re passing through.

Such great food. I stopped here on my way out of Dallas on the way to Houston, and it was perfect. My brother and I split the Queso Cheesesteak and the Cordon Bleu and both were fantastic! I would highly recommend this place. The atmosphere was great and the staff was very friendly.

I had the double meat original Cheesesteak sandwich! Bring your appetite! So much juicy meat and melty cheese that you can’t close the Amoroso’s bun!!! You read correctly… I said Amoroso’s! Hands down BEST cheesesteak I’ve had in the D/FW area! And I’ve been to them ALL! This is the first time I’ve felt that a cheesesteak here was worthy of praise! Drive down to this charming little old downtown Ferris and grab a Philly!!! Oh burgers are your preference? Hand made ½ pound burgers! They’ll even make you a triple! 1 ½ pounds tall! You figure that one out! If you have a hearty appetite get the homemade onion rings or sweet potato fries! Great homemade chili topped the grilled coneys! And if you like chicken and waffles… Chicken and the waffle both crispy on the outside, and succulent and steamy inside! Served with syrup and whatever else you’d like! I’ll be driving back down here for the philly! Just stop reading and get to the Metro Grill! Now! Why are you still reading? Just hit the directions button and go! You belly will thank you!

Great little dinner which also happens to be the only place within a ten mile radius that sells liquor! Great service and good food, too.

What a hidden gem! I found this place on Unilocal as we were driving to Grapevine and we loved it! Great service and great food. I had the chicken salad with the homemade buttermilk ranch. The batter on the fried chicken was to die for!!!

Usually I’m skeptical of places that say«best in town» when they’re in a small town, but this place is gooood. Driving thru to Houston, we stopped at this place for dinner. Burgers are handmade and really good! Well worth the couple of mile detour off the highway!

For a small-town eatery, a very diverse selection of eats. Also, very kid friendly and a clean bathroom!

So not impressed and I’m surprised by the reviews I’ve read. I ordered a chef salad which was a bowl of iceberg lettuce a little turkey and few pieces of egg with Kraft cheese sprinkled on top. My son had nachos, a plate of chips served with the same cheese as my salad and tiny bits of meat, steak I believe. He had to take Pepto when we got to the car. Meatball sub was made with frozen nasty meatballs and some yuck sauce. So not impressed. We got out of there not happy and with $ 50 less in my pocket. I could have gone to Chili’s(which I hate) and had a better meal.

Recommended to us by Michele at Sugar Ridge Winery, we stopped here on our return home from enjoying the bluebonnets in Ennis for the day. A cozy little diner that specializes in authentic Philly Cheesesteaks, this corner shop is very inviting from the outside and provides a good atmosphere inside. Priscilla greeted us warmly and let us sit wherever we chose. We personally are not big Cheesesteak fans, so we perused the other pages of the menu and wound up ordering a fried shrimp basket($ 7.99), fried pickles($?) and the rib-eye 3 star tacos($ 7.99). Priscilla brought out a basket of chips with salsa and queso con carne, complimentary with our order. Total price was $ 21.73, but I’m too lazy to figure out what the price of the fried pickles is because that would involve figuring out the tax and that is just way too much after all our driving today for such a measly amount… maybe $ 3.75? Anyway, we really enjoyed the food, especially since the fried stuff was crisp and not greasy. The portions were generous but not ginormous, so we weren’t rolling out of there ready for a food coma. If we’re ever around Ferris again for a meal, we’ll happily dine here again!

Perfect portions for the right price! The food was delicious! We ordered shrimp tacos and fajita tacos. The perfect seasoning on both and absolutely stuffed with cheese, peppers, onions and meaty goodness! The chips are strore-bought, which was a bummer, but the salsa and queso were a great combo. Overall — YUM!

Delicious! Stopped by here on the way to Houston and I am so glad we did! We got the Hot Italian and Philly cheesesteak! Both were amazing with great flavor. You also have to try the fried green beans with some peach tea to drink! Great people and great food~try it!
