Another gas station review!
Only three stars as this is not my favorite station in Fernley, but sometimes it is the one that is convenient. Convenient as I am going by it. Not convenient in that it is a pain to get in and out of when it is busy with truck traffic. There is a single access road off 95A that is shared by both the big guys and the rest of us. Making the left hand turn out of the station and again, out of the road to return to I80 can be life threatening. It is a popular stop and many times the pumps are blocked by huge RV vehicles and getting in and out with all the amateur drivers can be a problem.
So now for the pluses. Gas is cheap in Fernley and the price listed is for either paying cash inside or using your card at the pump. There is a full convenience store with fast food options and usually clean bathrooms. It is very close to I80 and except for the traffic, it is an easy off and on using the West Fernley Exit. It is also convenient for people making the drive from Reno to Las Vegas. Trust me, you will want to fill up here.

Pilot was five cents cheaper than anywhere else around but was the 10 minute wait to pay worth that? I’m not sure! the bathrooms are clean the staff is friendly there’s lots of amenities but I don’t know that it’s worth that kind of wait to save a quarter! The cashier even went the extra mile to find me a rewards card when they were out what a nice man :-)

Convenient location right off the freeway on the way to Vegas, with cheap gas. This place has a Wendy’s, ‘casino’, and lots of the essential road trip snacks and drinks. The restrooms are clean and the convenience store is also clean and free of any weird smells (you know what I’m talking about). The only downside is that there are a few gas pumps, but there is TONS of space to add more.

Always a good stop
This place has everything you need. Restrooms, showers, fast food, drinks, coffee, snacks, pastries, souvenirs, hygiene/​toiletry items, clothes, CDs/​DVDs, electronics.
If you can think it, Pilot probably has it.
