Gristies Bucks

I absolutely LOVE this place! Great ambience in a historic gristmill, lots of nooks and crannies positively crammed with great old items and a constantly changing collection of things to see and buy. There’s a little something for everyone, from an underground bargain bunker to an upscale booth full of antiques straight from France.
Prices run the gamut from unbelievably cheap to a little pricey, but hey — it’s Bucks County. And compared to most other antiques shops around here, Gristie’s is way affordable. Decent hours make it convenient even for those with long work hours, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I make it a point to stop 3 – 4 times a year, and I’m never disappointed.
And even if you can’t find an item you want to buy, the trip through the mill, which still has most of its original works in place, including huge gears, grinding stones and what’s left of the water wheel that powered the whole operation, is worth the trip. Bring a camera — you’ll want to take photos!
