Sam’s Club has everything you could imagine, but in bulk sizes… detergent, paper plates, toilet paper, boca burgers, ribs, toothpaste, you name it they probably carry it. While there is a small membership fee($ 45), they always offer deals on groupon making it close to free. I have been a member for 3 – 4 years and never paid full price. The membership also allows access to their gas station that has had discounted 10 – 20 cents. There is also a small food court inside with the best deals in town, $ 1.50 hotdog and drink, pizza slices, and sandwiches. The layout of this particular sams is good. Household items are on the right with paper plates and plastics are in the direct back. The left side of the store is comprised of the food items, with the bakery being towards the front. Also in the front left are the toothpaste shampoos and such. As others have mentioned, this store can become extremely busy during peak hours. Best time to shop is between 10 – 12 when the store is empty for the most part and there are no lines for checking out. Come during peak hours and you will find yourself maneuvering around chaos followed by a 10+ minute wait to check out.

Its best not to walk into any big box store and expect to be blown away by the décor or lighting for that matter. The outside of this Sam’s Club reminded me of those old Kmart stores from a bygone era, but the inside was fairly familiar layout for a Sam’s Club which I give them kudos for being consistent. We found what we were looking for and was in and out in under 30 minutes(including some browsing). It appeared coming in on a late Saturday afternoon/early evening may be the best time to avoid the weekend crush.

This is not a safe place to shop. There have been issues with crime in this Sams parking lot, they have video surveillance in the parking lot but the quality is so poor it is of no use. They have been asked by law enforcement to do something about it and have not even though crimes keep being committed against their customers in their parking lot. SHOPATYOUROWNRISK!

This store is ok… its a wholesales club so locate what you need, grab and goooo!!! The one thing I hate about all sames clubs is they do not take Visa. I mean who doesnt take visa. Of course they take debit but I usually use credit mostly for security reasons. Other than that this store is decent, always stocked and I like the self checkout it makes the process quicker. I am also a fan of the cafeteria. I always and I mean always grab some pizza everytime I shop. for the price this pizza is delicious!!!

The prices are okay, but their selection always changes for the worse at times. Their customer service skills are horrible.

Great if you have a big family or eat tons. However they have some if the most racist staff I’ve ever seen. Rude and negligent to interracial couples. I’m sure we’ve put at least one employee in the unemployment line. But she definitely wasn’t the one and only…

Sam’s club seems to be a place that you either love it or hate it. Honestly, I go here for the basic shopping needs that has a better price when compared to other stores. Sure you end up buying butter that will last you for 4 months and also buying cleaning supplies to stock a janitorial service, but if you’re able to have some organization in your household, I think it’s worth it and you can stock up and save some money, which goes a long way! And yes admittedly, certain items are not for me, and certain items that can be found at the other big stores are not found here. Oh well. Would it be convenient to have them all under one roof, sure, but we can’t have it all.

Don’t buy something with a warranty and expect them to cover it if you are no longer a member. For instance if you bought tires or a battery and didn’t sign up for membership the next year, they wont honor the warranty. We are now members of Costco, and like it much better. i am pretty sure Costco would require membership as well to cover a warranty. The thing is we no longer want to be Sams members, but were forced to resign to get our warranty for now. Sams is very scammy as well. They hound you to get the more expensive membership that has benefits that are a joke. They also tell you if you sign up for their credit card you will get twenty bucks. When you later find out its a credit for in the store and not a rebate on the card.

Been a member of Sam’s Club for many years. I generally shop at the one on East Colonial. Not to familiar with how this store is laid out. But I found it very clean and organized. This one is on my way home from work so I’ll be stopping by from time to time. Some great prices on stuff, like other stores know your prices before you go in. Must be a member to buy in the club.

I have memberships to both Sam’s and Costco. My Sam’s is a business membership and this location has business hours starting at 7AM, nice to avoid the crowds if you are picking up a few items. Wish Costco did this! This Sam’s is well stocked, gas is always 5 – 8 cents cheaper than the stations located around it. Doesn’t sound like much, but with the price of gas currently at almost $ 4.00 a gallon, every little bit helps. I’ve paid for my membership in annual gas savings alone. When you have the business membership, you get upgraded on your warranties on the electronics, so check this feature out. I bought our Wii though this Sam’s and the extended warranty was honored by Nintendo, no problems. I regularly buy garden supplies, bakery items, bottled drinks, frozen goods and paper goods. This location is always well stocked and clean. Another benefit to Sam’s is taking all major credit cards. I’d rather be earning some Discover cash back, so thanks! I love my Costco, but if you price shop– it does pay to have both memberships.

Go on the weekends early in the afternoon, and you can fill yourself up on free samples. They let you try meats, cheeses, pizza, dessert, juice — enough for a full meal. Besides that, this is just like all of the other warehouse stores you’ll come across(Costco, BJs, etc.). They sell everything from ketchup to laundry detergent to pianos to eyeglasses. When you do the math, it’s usually cheaper to buy your items in bulk, but not always. Plus, make sure you’re not just going to throw away half of that 3-gallon jug of mayonnaise you thought you needed. This store is clean and if it’s a weekend, it’s going to be packed. Shop during the week so you don’t have to wait in the atrociously long lines.
