The $ 5 fill-up box is a great deal. You get 5 items for that price: chicken, side, biscuit, drink, and cookie! I like the tenders; you get three pieces. Beats Popeye’s prices, though I like both restaurants. This location has a second restaurant in it(Long John Silvers I think). I’m only there for the chicken! They have some type of drink machine similar to Coke Freestyle. Tea offerings are sweet and unsweetened. It’s not a busy location so service is usually fast. I tried the drive thru today and it was quick.

I ordered the Boneless Chicken. The ads have the customers getting it confused with the regular chicken and thinking they«ate the bones», but that would never happen. These pieces were over sized tenders. The coating was crispy, and I think it is supposed to be like original recipe. I had a hard time tasting the original recipe seasonings and the coating was not the moist original recipe breading. They must have been cooked in an open fryer, instead of a pressure cooker. One of the pieces was pink inside, but I was 3 or 4 miles down the road before I noticed. The shift manager took my name and offered a free 2 piece meal when I return. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly.

I went for lunch today and as usual the counter staff is absolutely fabulous. I decided to go rogue and try the grilled chicken instead of the usual(and delicious) original recipe. OMG! I have been missing out on a big hit for all of these years. The grilled chicken has a well seasoned, crispy skin with hints of the islands. The Colonel definitely has another winner and I’ll be back over and over again. I’m trying to cut some calories so skipped the deserts but the veggies on the buffet bar were down home southern style goodness.

First time coming to this KFC before it moved from its old location on 17 – 92 across from Just Puppies to its current location on 436 in the Sam’s Club plaza. The place is very clean and looks nice, it was a bit busy when we came during dinner time. The food was good but not anything special I still think the chicken at Publix is much better and fresher could tell this chicken had been sitting there for a bit. Plus the biscuit was good, and you get your choice of different Pepsi products. We had three piece with one side/one person had two sides and a drink and it was all together over $ 20 Buck’s bit overpriced for only three piece and one side and a drinks it was almost $ 6.00 each. I also had the mash potatoes with gravy and they were not that hot, they were still not to bad but again nothing special in taste wise. I have had much better mash potatoes else where. Next time I will try there fish as this location also has a Long John Silver inside.
