I was going to surprise my girlfriend with skydiving for her birthday and scheduled this. When we got there she disclosed that her blood pressure had been high and she took a medication that prevented her from being able to fly for 24hours. We had arrived on time, but Skydive San Marcos didn’t care about the medical condition; their no refunds and no rescheduling within 24 hours of your jump policy trumps all. We traveled from north of Austin to come here simply because it’s where I did my first jump 20 years ago. There are places closer to where I live. The girl at Skydive San Marcos was very polite about telling me that I would just lose my money and asked if I want to book another time and pay again. I don’t think so. This place will never see my business or my referrals again. We were extremely disappointed that we couldn’t jump and it was a completely classless move to not make an exception on the no rescheduling policy for a medical condition when we arrived on-time after driving an hour and a half to give them our business. If you have another option for skydiving, I highly recommend that you go that route because this one lacks character and good customer service.

I went skydiving for my birthday here. I had always wanted to try it and now that I did … I’m hooked. I jumped with DC and he was a perfect balance of serious and fun. Joking around when he could tell I was nervous and being very serious when it came to safety. Yoshi was my camera man and that dude is just straight up badass. I would recommend Skydive San Marcos to anyone and everyone. It’s a life changing experience. I will be going for my «A» license now and it’s because I had such a good experience with DC, Yoshi, and skydive San Marcos. Thank you so much and I look forward to jumping again VERY soon . P. S. The price is very low compared to what you are going to experience. Totally worth every penny. I would go back even if it was 1000 a jump . Danger_Russ

Been skydiving twice in Seattle before I came here — besides the flat desert which was boring to look at – the staff was extremely professional and friendly! I would definitely recommend this places to friends that lived in the Austin area.

This was my very first and so far, last skydiving experience. I loved it! An extremely good friend of mine used to frequent Skydive San Marcos roughly over a decade ago. He was an avid jumper. So of course he’ll take me to the place where he had such fond memories at! I paid roughly $ 230USD for the tandem jump. You must be under 280 lbs in weight, sign a waiver to free San Marcos from any liabilities(don’t die!), and have an option to spend an additional $ 90USD on a camera man/dvd. So, oddly enough, while getting into my suit, zipping up, and receiving instruction from my tandem instructor, I wasn’t nervous at all! I’m about to jump out of a plane to drop at 100 mph… with out being phased. What was making me nervous, oddly enough, was the realization of how I’m going to be strapped down to a man!(i am a prudish young lady) Yeah, I got more and more nervous of jumping out of a plane… only when I started to walk towards the plane… and got real nervous when the plane took off. My tandem instructor, Aaron, was super nice, friendly, funny, and even handsome! He was very clear in instruction and patient. The suits were clean and werent the newest suits, but adequate. Note to self and others: don’t drink coffee. Coffee stresses stomachs. Upset stomachs lead to possibly throwing up mid-jump.
