The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

This was the church that I attended from 9 years old until I got married. It was a wonderful congregation full of loving people who welcome visitors from every walk of life. I just came back for a visit (I have been living on the West Coast for the last several years after college) and it was fabulous to see that the feelings of the peace of Jesus Christ are still there when you walk in the door. I have a lot of memories in this building– early morning seminary (bible study classes) that at the time were held at 5:30am every school day before high school. I know it sounds crazy early, (and some days it really was) but it was a great way to start the day before heading over to Rockwood Summit. I attended activity days (a youth group for kids ages 8 – 11 years old) and then mutual meeting every Tuesday evening (a wonderful youth group for kids ages 12 – 18 years old). We learned about gospel principles as we participated in wholesome, uplifting, skill building activities and service projects. If you are looking for a family oriented church that is centered on Jesus Christ and want to know more about the truth of His restored gospel on the earth, please come and visit on Sunday. Meetings start at 10am.
