I’ve been to this Dierbergs plenty of times. It’s a fine grocery store but in general I prefer Schnucks. I feel that Schnucks carries a much wider variety of items(and it’s a little bit cheaper). This particular location feels a little bit cramped sometimes. My most recent experience here was picking up a bunch of groceries for my brother’s bachelor party. This included a lot of beer and some whiskey. While we were in the alcohol aisles, some employees basically profiled us and asked us why we «needed to bunch up.» I think they were suspicious that we were going to try and steal alcohol? They than asked us to spread out and watched us the entire time. I don’t really care but it was really off putting. I know I have a baby face but the majority of people I was with were much older. This location is very«meh» in my experience.

went to get strawberries whipped cream and shortcakes was told this morning at Dierbergs that shortcakes are seasonal and only available during spring and summer but they had strawberries whipped cream in the produce section but no shortcakes. But if you want some cheese pudding or a chocolate infused coconut vanilla cake they have that

Stopped in this Dierbergs today and I really liked it a bit better than two of the other Dierbergs I have been into so far. Why — it just seems a bit smaller and I like that. They still have all the things that are important to me… Like Wine — Wine — and more Wine. And they get these great little pies and I am quickly becoming just a tad addicted to the french silk… The price on Iams dog food was actually cheaper than Petco AND Walmart. The only thing I wished for were a few more registers opened. I hate waiting so I ended up going to the self check and I would have rather not but too many mom’s in there with yappin’ kids with the big ass red car carts to wait behind in the regular line and I just can’t take that…

My Unilocaling has reached an all-time low; I’m reviewing a chain grocery store in the heart of the suburbs. Don’t de-Elite me, Aimee! Anyway, I’m usually not a Dierbergs shopper — if I’m going to buy overpriced groceries, it’s going to be at Whole Foods and Whole Foods only — but this is the closest grocery store to my job, and sometimes I want a piece of fresh fruit or a greek yogurt to go with my lunch. Dierbergs to the rescue! Honestly, this is probably one of the nicest Dierbergs I’ve been to. They have just about every specialty product I can think of. Biscoff spread? Got it. Daiya vegan cheese? Yep. Every flavor of Chobani greek yogurt that I can possibly think of? That’s there too. Yeah, it’s expensive, and if I had the choice, I’d shop elsewhere, but for what it’s worth, this Dierbergs is pretty darn awesome.

Dierbergs is my first choice when shopping for groceries. Some items are overpriced though, especially in the organic/natural foods isle. Regardless, I like Dierbergs because of their outstanding customer service, their cleanliness, their wide selection of fresh produce and the high quality of their meats. Their sushi is fresh and delicious, Deli items are decadent, and the seafood counter always has a nice selection(and sometimes even carry Chilean sea bass, which I love).

I’m not a fan — My wife loves the place, but she’s an elitist like the people who run this store and the majority of the people who shop here.

Big, spacious Dierbergs. Produce section, large nice presentation. Large deli stand. Seafood section has the best selection of tuna for homemade Japanese cuisine. Large meat section. Dairy section has all types of milk. Florist section is a small florist shoppe. Bakery section touting custom birthday cakes. Donuts by K-Kreme. Sushi available, but not on New Year’s Day. Large beauty and bath section. I did not grade their selection of fine cheeses. I haven’t yet sampled enough of their bakery items. Useless trivia: Coffee cheaper here than in CA, though they have the exact same origin.
