Best fruit market in Michigan! On the pricey side but great selection. Loved the you-pick! Something is always in season at earls!

Great for picking berries $ 1.75 for lb of blueberries is pretty awesome. Also picked up some fall mums. The restaurant experience was disappointing. Got a fresh peach cobbler and the top was all doughy. Though the fresh peach shake was pretty good. Not much to do their but pick, but that it’s all about.

Earl’s is very much worth going out of your way. This country farm stand hits all the marks. Very clean(you can look into the entire kitchen); friendly, prompt service; high quality food w.r.t strawberry shortcake(great biscuit, Sherman’s vanilla ice cream, lots of fresh berries plus whipped cream). They include a glass of water on the side; nice touch. Excellent choices in the adjacent farm stand. Overall, the best food establishment in the South Haven area.

We recently moved to Bangor, MI from IL and are having fun checking out all there is to do in the area. This past week we visited Fennville and noticed Earl’s on the Blue Star Highway and decided to stop. Berries aren’t in season yet, so we picked up a frozen country style strawberry rhubarb pie and some frozen tart cherries. Let’s jut say we were back the next day for an apple pie and a crust to bake those cherries in. Wonderful crust! And so friendly. Another reason we’re sure we’ve made a good decision to live in SW Michigan. We’ll be back!

I wanted to stop at a produce stand on our way home from a weekend in the area, and this place was recommended by a friend. I was just expecting a farm stand, so I was blown away by the fact that it was also a U-pick farm with a bakery/ice cream shop. I bought blueberries, frozen blueberries, a blueberry pie, blueberry sugar cookies, and some veggies. I regret not buying a larger container of blueberries and not buying a frozen berry pie. I would happily return. This would be a great place to pick berries, especially since you can pick some and then buy a bunch of things to go with them.

It was a dark and stormy day… boooo. The weather totally sucked on the day we were driving back to IL from central MI. I picked out this place based on a Unilocal search and was so excited to visit. Enter the rain, and rain and rain. We really wanted to pick strawberries but because of the muddiness we just picked a bit but bought a bunch more. But no matter the weather, the strawberries were fabulous. The bunch of pre-picked berries(a whole flat) were great quality, not a mushed one in the flat. They were perfectly ripe so quite a bit were sent to the freezer for future use and they still hold up color and taste well for my smoothies, pancake syrups and drinks. Earl’s has a cute bake shop and we stopped in for doughnuts and muffins and steaming cups of Joe. The blueberry muffins are delicious. I didn’t liked the cider doughnuts as much as my favorite(Harvest Time in WIFTW). but the pies we brought home(triple berry and strawberry rhubarb) were just fantastic. Friendly folks running the berry picking, farmer’s market and bake shop. Quality fruits and produce. Even though the rain was a damper, still so happy we stopped.

So glad we stopped here after a long weekend away! The ice cream/bake shop area was ridiculously tempting with everything from Zucchini bread to Peanut Butter cookies to Cherry pie. The Molasses cookies are a must try(delicious), and the ice cream was super tasty. U-pick blueberries in July! I am definitely coming back, as it’s worth the trip!

Great food and a fun location. We had a good sized group and different tastes so there was a sample of everything and no one was disappointed. I wish we would have had time to pick the strawberries ourselves but the giant box that was purchased was so good and sweet. Perfect for the family.

I LOVE blueberries and this place is GREAT! I bought a blueberry pie, blueberry jam, blueberry pancake mix, and of course, BLUEBERRIES! The staff is very courteous and very, very, friendly. This will be one of my stops when I’m in Michigan again.

We don’t get out of Chicagoland very much these days, but when we do, THIS is the kind of place we want to see at the side of the road! We stopped in while visiting family in South Haven, and it’s a good thing Earl’s is 3 hours away from us — I would seriously be here for dessert five nights a week if we lived closer. Normally, I’d be all over the U-Pick berries and stuff, but all we really wanted was PIE. Peach-blueberry pie, to be specific, with a giant scoop of vanilla ice cream. Oh gahd, so good.(The folks had peach cobbler, which also looked incredible.) On the way out, we picked up more goodies at the farmstand, which I highly recommend. The prices are reasonable, and you’re keeping a farm going, so what’s not to love?

Listen up people; if you live in/near Chicago or SE Indiana, you must go visit Earls mid/late June. If you like blueberries. They also have strawberries and raspberries as well, in season. U-pick(loads of fun for us urbanites), bring a hat and lots of sunscreen, or u-buy(still a good deal and freshly picked by others). Mega-bonus: there is a divine bakery and ice cream/coffee store on site, where you can relax after your playing a farmer for 2 hrs or so. Bathroom is available, so you can wash up and enjoy your pie and ice cream in comfort before the trip back home. Must-have: white chocolate blueberry pie. Must-buy: Zucchini walnut bread. Take it home to savor with your berries. Earl’s Berry Farm is our last stop on the drive to Chicago from a Saugatuck getaway. Highly recommend.
