This is the first review I have written in about five years. I drove over an hour just to eat at this place; it’s that good. It’s run by a bunch of mountain hippies and goodness do they know how to make pizza! Best pizza I have ever eaten!

We ate here recently while on a camping trip in Felton. We ordered a large «California» with «white sauce», a medium half pepperoni half sausage, and an order of cheesy bread sticks. This was hands down the worst pizza I’ve ever had and everyone in our group agreed. The «white sauce» is nothing more than flavorless ricotta cheese and the pizza had almost no taste at all. I had to add salt, ranch, Parmesan, and red peppers just to make it edible. The bread sticks were also the worst I’ve had and the children didn’t even like the pepperoni/​sausage pizza we ordered for them. It’s pretty impressive that they were able to make a pizza that even children didn’t care for. For the three items listed above it was $ 54 and as others have mentioned, it’s cash only! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere if you’re in the Felton area.

Very much a fan of this place. Service was friendly and on top of our needs. The food being organic fit into our dietary needs, while meeting our craving for pizza. The pizza was amazing and the craft beer on tap was a great addition to the meal.

Takes forever to bake a small pizza about 45 min wait went through 2 full cups of soda while waiting. The crust was dry as sand I don’t recommend this place kinda pricey too, I was so hungry while waiting I told my husband I felt like eating the flowers in the vase if it don’t hurry lol

This is a great place to get a decent pizza pie. But wait, this is just a pizza pie and there are DOZENS of deserving pizzerias in the county. I’ve always gotten good service, had good brews and good pies here. But wait. on my previous visit, they had adopted the business practice of doom (for me, anyway). They only accept cash. You don’t have cash, you say? Just a card? Well, sure, there is an ATM on the premises with an exorbitant service fee attached. My guess is that the venue gets a HUGE chunk of this service fee. If I were to return (which I won’t), I would use the ATM service fee as the tip. I just can’t stand businesses that make this stupid decision, and these businesses will never get my patronage. You lose. I will never be back.

This place is great breath of fresh ingredients. Living in the San Lorenzo Valley we don’t get many options for fresh organic take out. Why the 3 stars? They take 1 hour to make a pizza pie with one ingredient.. We’ll be back, grumpy that we have to wait that long, but definitely coming back.

The pizza here is amazing. The crust had the perfect crunch and it has great flavor. They also use really good ingredients, almost everything is organic and locally sourced. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because of service. Just a little slow and not super friendly. I highly recommend coming here, honestly some of the best pizza I have ever had. I will be back.

Really good pizza. Best part is the food is light maybe due to wonderful balance of salt. Normally a pizza dinner leaves one filling bloated and searching for the closest couch to crash in. The pizzas are light and so is the lasagna.
Would go back again if we are in the area.
Place was cash only and so a small inconvenience.

Small town with organic food everywhere. This pizzeria is the only one I have seen so far to have so many vegetarian options.
Pretty cool hangout spot after hiking in Felton. Their local beers are amazing too and have a decent number of them.
These are regular Americanized pizza but still taste pretty nice.
Not too expensive and the waiters are attentive.

Love Redwood Pizzeria.
Great local pizza spot in downtown Felton. Pizzas are very fresh and made with organic and local ingredients, and they have never tasted «heavy» or «greasy». They have good «pre-​made» selections on the menu or you can create your own. There is also a good salad selection as well, and they do have other things on the menu, but I have only tried pizzas and salads.
They also have a small, but good local beer selection on tap.
There is good seating in the 2 dining rooms as well as a small bar where you can sit as well.

I am still a fan of this pizza place though today’s meal didn’t match the last visit. The salad was delicious with fresh greens and tasty carrots and tomato. The pizza was good today. The sausage had no fennel taste and was too spicy and there was very little mushroom on the pizza-​just tiny bits. Also my check was wrong. I caught it though. Had a note noticed it would have cost me about 2 dollars extra.
