HANDS DOWN BEST SOPES EVER!!!
I hadn’t been here in over 6 years, so I was a little bit skeptical to order the sopes. I clearly remember falling in love with this dish when I first visited this market, and that flavor stayed in my taste buds. I was therefore, hoping to go back in time, and that is exactly what happened! I ordered two sopes, one of carnitas and the other one of carne asada.
These delectable items simply had the perfect balance of spices, crunchiness and flavors. The little corn cake was splendidly fried and topped with buttery refried beans, steak, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and cheese; all which I drenched in salsa verde.
I only wish this place wasn’t 1.5 hours away from my house, because I would love to come here every weekend for breakfast or snacks. My mouth is watering as we speak right now, and my belly is sad I am not close to that store.
One thing is true, don’t ever let the looks outside of a restaurant fool you, because you never know of the deliciousness you will find inside!
