I try so hard to like Panera but I keep getting disappointed. This is a review of today’s visit only but I will say I’ve had worse visits and better ones. I went in today at 830 on my way to a job site(Sunday of all days) and was immediately hit with a bad impression. There were no soufflés, no muffins, and literally there was only a third of the display case with food. Come on Panera! I’m used to the soufflés being tapped out but this time was just pathetic! Then I’m in line for 10 minutes for the young cashier who looked like he just woke up to take care of the one customer in front of us. 10 minutes to make a damned order of a dozen bagels not toasted. The problem wasn’t that he didn’t know what he was doing but more so a tremendous lack of motivation. Well I thought that was going to get taken care of when the GM Mario walked up to the counter but he instead offered to take our order, ok no prob let’s order. Ordered 2 toasted bagels, a cinnamon roll, breakfast sandwich, and 2 coffees to go. After ordering he asks, «is this to go or for here». To which I reply«to go» even though I already told him this. After ordering he tells us it will be up in a minute and he then proceeds to take the order of the people behind us. I always thought it as the norm for the cashier to give the customer the bagels and pastries right after ordering. I then waited… and waited… and 10 minutes later I ask the person working in the sandwich are if my order is ready to which she tells me yes it’s been ready for a while. Of course my sandwich was not to go and was instead on a plate and cooled off. She was very polite and offered to make me a new one but I didn’t have time. She did of course show me that the order was put into the computer as for here. Annoyed and still without my pastries I asked to see Mario the manager. The girl looked for him but couldn’t find him. While explaining my order to another person at the register Mario appeared from the bathroom drying his hands off walking to the registers. I explained to him what happened and the first thing he did was tell me that he punched in my order to go but the computer changed it for here. When I asked about the rest of my order he said«oh yeah» and then went and got my order after I had to explain what it was again. No apology, no offer to do something so that I leave a satisfied customer. I left disappointed, late for work, with a cold breakfast sandwich, and no time to eat a bagel. The only saving grace was the person working in the sandwich area. She was smart and quick to offer a resolution. It was obvious when the 3 employees working in the sandwich area they were annoyed by their manager. So Panera, Come on!!! What is going on with you guys? Is it that freaking hard to make enough damned soufflés in the mornings? When will you get decent management? When will you start treating customers as if you want them to come back? This would be a 1 star review but the sandwich staff was great and even the original cashier wasn’t bad just not motivated.

First off I would to say I used to work in food service for years and am very understanding/patient of the hard work, although this past experience here was too horrible not to say anything. It took me 1 hour and a half from ordering to picking up our food for a very small office lunch(3 sandwiches). The manager picked up the phone and could not get my order right or take the payment correctly, he kept repeating the information back and it was always incorrect. I asked for someone else to help and he said No everyone was busy. I finally asked again and someone got on the phone and helped me right away. The wait was about 30 minutes to get the food. The manager was also the one to ring me up. Needless to say I was very late to the office lunch, and one of the orders was wrong. I later found out he didn’t give me a receipt in the bag for our business credit card either. I hate to complain about food service but this was very disappointing.

We come here about once a week for a light dinner. Their soups are always yummy. The sandwiches are usually pretty good, but sometimes they are a little thrown together. The food is always pretty fresh. Pastries are just ok, I think they are pre-made and end up being a little hard sometimes. The biggest issue we run in to here is the staff. They are nice, but I think they need a little training. You will want to double check any orders you get here, because they will tend to mix things up or forget things. We’ve also run into the problem of them running out of stuff-soup, bread bowls, croissants, etc. The staff seem a little confused sometimes, and when they forget something, they give you the suspicious look. We have learned to order online and go in for their«rapid pick up,» even if we are planning to eat there. Otherwise there might be a long wait.

Service can be much better, Not impressed with the food that cost $ 5.99 for a half Sandwich that was made incorrect and for a Soup, Sandwich, & Salad place you would think it could make the orders mostly correct without making a lot of messed up orders, while standing in line to order I saw several people have issues with made orders. I do think if there was a lot less employees laughing and conversing and more attention to the customer’s orders it could be a BIG improvement for the company. It is sad to see that customers have not been the focal point here but interaction between employees is more important. Thanks Panera but my first time here most likely will be the last and that’s sad that I have to say that, I can go to QFC and order a Half Sandwich that would have been way more worth it.

Called to place an order because I didn’t know how to place an order on the app using my PANERA Bread Gift Card. The person taking my order sounded like he was tired of answering customers. When I got there I asked the cashier for help on ordering via app with the gift card but she straight up told me she could not help me because she didn’t know and didn’t offer a solution. Very frustrating to as a customer when companies employees don’t have proper training on there products! Definitely will be contacting their upper management. Wishing I was writing a better review for the company because their food is delicious!

Service is so bad at this Panera location it’s ridiculous! Every time I come in same exact thing. Employees are very friendly consistently, This location is very busy so my guess is management needs to train their people better. Frankly the last three times I’ve been there my order was incorrect and today my sandwich was burned — I guess I won’t be back

I eat at Panera all the time. This was the worst. My sandwich was tiny and the avocado was just a big chunk. I asked the wait staff and they were very unhelpful.

Thoughtful cashier, Aerial, repeated my order back to me and was very kind and thorough. As I waited for my to-go order, I watched the order screen turn from green to yellow to orange to red. Took about 7 minutes, which seemed reasonable and I appreciate they have high expectations for speed. When I got home, there were onions and no chicken on the fuji apple chicken salad I’d ordered sans onions. Sandwich was great, though. Routine experience. Had it to do over again, I might have used rapid pick-up instead, as it’s very efficient there.

Not very good. The gentlemen at the counter was very nice, and my cookie was good, but everything else was unsatisfactory. It took 20 minutes to get our food, the food was tepid at best(not good for soup and supposed-to-be-hot sandwiches). Finally, the tables & chairs weren’t clean.

I took my wife to Panera for mother’s day lunch because it’s her favorite lunch spot to eat. She loves it. I’m not the biggest fan but it’s her choice, and all about her right. Besides a BLT sounds good and I’m sure this would be a great place to get one. I was wrong. Really really wrong. I told my wife to order a BLT on white break. Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, and Mayo is what I’m expecting. I’m a simple guy. I took my kids to the bathroom and by the time I was done. Food was out. my BLT was a Club Sandwich. Oops, but no biggie. I take it back and explain I just want a BLT. Lady is very sweet and says sorry. We will make a new one. Keep the old one. I think great. My wife will eat the mistake tomorrow or something. I forgot to ask for cheese so I asked her to add cheddar for me. She says no problem and walks away. 2nd sandwich.. No Turkey, I see cheese but they added Avocado. I go to take it off and realize the cook put two slices of bacon. and the quality is what I’d expect from a $ 1.50 «value burger» not your store. I take it back. lady says no problem. I’ll tell them extra bacon. 3rd sandwich. No cheese of course, and. double chicken or whatever it is and two pieces of lousy bacon. I couldn’t help but laugh. I decided a 4th attempt just isn’t worth it and ate it. To be honest I am so disappointed. I took a picture of both sandwiches. PS I emailed the website and also asked about their sliced apples. I was surprised to get apples that my kids couldn’t pick up and eat(picture included if I can learn how to post them. at least give me a knife if I’m expected to cut the core out myself.

It began on a Thursday morning. I had just got out of class and was craving a Mediterranean sandwich. I always go to the Panera bread in Seattle south lake Union region but I wasn’t up for the drive and had absolutely no excuse to go to Seattle so I settled for the one at the commons. I get there and the place isn’t full but it is busy. So I get through the long line loving the aroma inside of the establishment. I get to the cashier Stephanie who was very nice by the way. I order the pick two half Mediterranean and Greek salad with a sliced Apple to go. The wait took awhile but the other customers were nice and talkative which didn’t make it seem as long. My order was called I grabbed my bag and left. Once I got home I took everything out and just looked at it because I knew I was going to DEVOUR what was in front of me! I unwrap my sandwich and open up my salad. The aromas hit me right away and I know it’s about to go down. Right when I was getting ready to pour the dressing over my salad I noticed something white in the corner. I pick it up and it’s a piece of chicken! For anyone else it probably isn’t a big deal but I’m a vegetarian so that was serious to me. I called them right away and spoke with the Manager Sarah. I told her what happened and she immediately apologized and let me know that she understood the severity of the situation to me and offered to make it up. I told her I’m not looking for anything in return but for them to be aware for next time. She put me down for a free pastry next time. I gave them a four because he sandwich was good and the manager rectified the situation. Way to go Panera bread!

For a handful of people, the point of a takeout order is to save some time! I’m a stock holder and previously thought it’s awesome Panera is pushing take out orders! Unfortunately when I recently called one in, I arrived at the restaurant a solid 25 minutes later to find that my meal hadn’t even been placed to the kitchen yet. Apparently(with 4 people working) there was some sort of broken communication and it never got placed. Things happen, right? The manager immediately got involved and instead of trying to make it right, apologize or something, she began questioning me as if I didn’t place the order. The young attendant working the cash register immediately intervened and claimed responsibility for the blunder. At which point I still wouldn’t classify the manager as kind or apologetic. If I hadn’t already paid, and wasn’t starving I would have left. I hate to take the time to write a review like this but as a stock holder it troubles me. Not sure if she’s new as a manager or what but dear(manager)… Not how you handle situations like this.

Honestly the food is typical. As a chain their food is not as depth as it could be if it were freshly made. Except for their bread. I ordered tomato soup with a grill cheese sandwich and it comes either with apples or bread. I chose bread because my dad loves their bread and so I decided to give it to him. Since the bread are freshly made, there is a fresh smell of bread flowing around. I feel like I am in a bliss. And the atmosphere is fairly casual. I see some people there studying but I wouldn’t recommend here if it is busy. Mainly due to it is noisy. But the main reason I am giving it a four star rather than a five is because the young gentleman was carrying my order around and when I told him it was mine and I had the number/order. He looked at me and said«are you sure?» And then walked away with my order. And when he returned, he handed me my order and we never spoken ever again.

I love Panera. They have healthy choices and not-so-healthy choices. They also have a loyalty card and you can get free items with purchases. I got quick service here and was very pleased with my experience.

Good service is something I can always count on at this location. Their salads & soups always taste fresh. Prices are reasonable & service is quick. Way better alternative to fast food. They’ve added a larger pastry selection recently also. Their wifi has issues sometimes and parking is usually packed but it’s nice and clean inside and cozy by the fireplace, I love coming here & they have one of my favorite teas ever — republic of tea!

The customer service here is always good. They don’t go above and beyond but for a restaurant like this, that’s pretty good. I love Panera’s bagels I always get asiago cheese with chive onion, or a blueberry bagel with blueberry cream cheese. The«pick two» option is great when you want half a salad with half a sandwich, or half soup with either salad or a half sandwich. But the best thing here is clam chowder in a bread bowl. The one thing that would majorly make Panera better is if they serve clam chowder everyday, instead of only on Fridays.

I got the tuna sandwich and there was a huge chunk of Tuna in it that I had to take out in order to be able to take a bite. I got the chai tea latte which I had to throw away cuz it tasted so bad. Didn’t taste like chai tea at all. Perhaps someone needs to teach them how to make it?!

Just went to this location for lunch. There was a line but I got up to the front extremely fast. I hadn’t even sat down for more than 5 minutes after I ordered when my food was brought out! I ordered the chicken lentil and quinoa bowl with a side of chips. It was a good portion for lunch. I’m not overally stuffed but am quite satisfied. I will definitely be back here for lunch.
