My partner and I have made this our new«local place». Their chips and salsa are awesome as well as many of their other dishes. The wait staff are always pleasant and accommodating. I would love to say that I highly recommend this place but honestly it’s a small venue and I don’t want too many people to know about it so please don’t tell your friends. :)

This place has great food! I got the tricolor and OMG was it amazing. My husband had the molcajete and it was gigantic. All the meats and shrimp were delicious. The service was great. There was a little wait for the food but you get it served hot. Well worth the wait!

The first time I came here with my family. We had to sit outside at first but it was cold outside. So then we asked our waitress to set up a table for us, which she did in a couple minutes so that was nice. It took a while for them to come take our order. The food took about forty minutes to get all our food. But the portions are big and delicious! Our waitresses were nice and checked on us, though they need to visit the table more. We never got our water refilled. But it was an overall good experience!

Great food. This is better than the southcenter location. Maybe best Mexican food south of Seattle area.

Pretty okay Mexican place that I always wanted to try! Their salsa bar was good and so were the complimentary chips! 3 steak tacos for $ 6.95. The meat was a bit dry. It wasn’t chunks, more like bits and pieces of chopped meat. Flavor was decent but I poured a good amount of green salsa on them since it was kind of hard to swallow. However, they did give a good amount of meat and they were pretty filling tacos. The bestie got 2 tacos and beans and rice for $ 6.95. She said the tacos were pretty good but also dry. This place is better than the other places we have tried around Kent. If I were to come back I would want to try their horchata! And maybe give their steak tacos another try?

This is kind of a hole in the wall. Even though it’s small inside it was clean. They have lunch specials and I enjoyed the self– serve salsa bar that included around 6 different salsas and pickled carrots and radishes which made me lament that I don’t live in Texas anymore. I had the shrimp taco lunch. It was pretty decent with good portions. I only wish they had other bean choices besides refried. It was good I got there around 1130am because it definitely filled up and the parking lot is really small.

This place is the REALDEAL! point blank period! I don’t see how ppl in this area eat at the Mexican food chain«Azteca,» When great authentic Mexican food in right around the corner!!! Who can explain this? This place definitely a whole in the wall, which means it’s absolutely authentic and absolutely delicious! We ordered a carnitas taco, a bbq pork taco, a carnitas burrito, the villa nachos with chicken, an the carnitas kid meal. Everything was mouth watering and served steaming hot n fresh! Fresh guac on the carnitas taco. Fresh tomatoes and onions on the nachos. The server was so nice and patient. When we first went in I felt out of place but they really treat everyone with respect and awesome service. I will recommend this place to any and every one! Two thumbs up. Now as for the prices… They’re prices can get a lil high, but they do have cheaper choices that are still super tasty such as a $ 8 burrito, $ 8 nachos, $ 8 quesadillas, tortas, tostadas, etc. This place is awesome !!! Will be going back!

I feel bad giving two stars because service was good and our waitress was nice but the food was not good. I ordered tortilla soup and it was absolutely tasteless. The broth was bland and the chicken in it was not good. I could only eat a little before I gave up. My husband ordered two chicken tacos. The same chicken was on the tacos and in the soup. Totally tasteless. They also have a salsa bar which isn’t very good either. Sadly I was really disappointed with everything that we tried.

Customer service is a hit and miss, sometimes it’s amazing, and sometimes it’s a bit disappointing, but the food is always on point. I like that you can choose to sit inside or outside when it’s warm. One thing I really appreciate about this place is their free chips and happy hour deals. Their tacos are always full of meat and super flavorful along with their steak and rice. The wet burrito is huge, the pictures really doesn’t do it justice. Wait time really depends but you can always call in to order for pick up, but it’s definitely worth the wait.

Everyone raves On about their wet burrito but NO! Their BURRITORANCHERO is where it’s at! I personally love their ranchero soooo much better. It’s huge, the size of a baby I swear lol, it has your choice of meat, tomatoes, cilantro, onions, sour cream AND guacamole! I think if you are a fajita person, the wet burrito will be better Bc it has that cooked veggie taste but if you just love a good olé burrito, get the ranchero! My other favorite is their al pastor tacos. Omgness I’m drooling thinking about it. It has these tiny tiny pineapple chunks which complements the spicy pork & cilantro perfectly! Their lengua(cow tongue) tacos are akso great. I also love their salsa bar, especially their pickled carrots! Yum!

I really don’t understand all the great reviews for this place! I’m from South Texas so maybe I’m just used to better Mexican food lol. Boyfriend and I both thought the food was bland. It was okay… but could have been so much better! The chips were gross and the salsas were meh. My tamales were dry and lacked flavor. I really liked the refried beans though. Also this place isn’t cheap. We paid about $ 37 with tip for two plates and one Mexican coke… I really can’t believe how expensive it is! Mexican food is supposed to be relatively cheap… Also I don’t know if it was because it was Friday night or what but they only had one waitress. Yes the place is small. There were 8 parties there including us and it was full. But the waitress didn’t bring us water, took forever to bring us chips, butchered the couple’s order next to us. They asked for some tacos to go after they were done eating and she brought the tacos to them and not the items they actually wanted to eat there… She also rung us up wrong after I told her EXACTLY what we ordered. Only ended up paying a couple bucks more because I wasn’t about to stand around for 10 minutes to have her fix it. Maybe they just need a better waitress to handle the Friday night crowd. Not coming back!

Los Bigotes de Villa is as close as you are going to get to a legit taqueria in Seattle. This place is a hidden hole in a wall which is easily missed in Pacific Hwy. Los Bigotes de Villa is small and can fit about 25 people or two large groups. I went here for lunch with my wife and ordered a carne asada wet burrito and a carne asada taco plate for my wife. The portions are huge, my burrito was meant to be lunch but it also became dinner. I found the prices honest and the food was packed with awesome flavors that remind me of California taquerias. My wet burrito was 11 bucks, but it was like buying two meals for the price of one. My wife’s meal was 8 bucks with a 16 oz glass of horchata, three tacos, refried beans and spanish rice. I lived in the North West for a while and this is by far one of the better joints to get Mexican food without getting restaurant prices. Pros: Huge portions Food taste good Prices are fair for the amount of food you get Great services The chips and salsa are delicious My wet burrito was tasty Horchata was amazing Cons: My wet burrito had lettuce inside(I hate that) Location can be hard to find I was expecting my wet burrito’s sauce to have a more salty flavor instead of a lightly sweet taste. Los Bigotes de Villa is a good place to get Mexican food if you are craving it. You will get your monies worth when it comes to flavor and portions.

Great spot for some awesome food! I am glad this place isn’t too far from me because it’s definitely one of my go-to restaurants for authentic Mexican cuisine. It’s a small place and tucked away on the side of pac hwy so it’s easy to miss but worth making a U-turn if you drive by it. Parking is easy and I never have issues finding a spot. Seating can be limited during the rush times so I try to head in a little early to beat the crowd. Their menu has nice options and I’m always wanting to try something new when I come here. Some of my favorites include the tortilla soup, mocajete, Carne asada, and their nice selection tacos. The mocajete is really fun and filling and I highly recommend it. Their tacos and tortilla soup is where it’s at too, I’ve yet to be disappointed with those. Very nice meat options for tacos and they are pretty filling. Service is good and friendly, and the prices are just right imo. Can’t really go wrong with this place!

I’m in love with this place. Everything I’ve tried here has been phenomenal. The food is authentic, homemade and the service is friendly. I tend to order ranchero burrito with shrimp and when the shrimp are cooked to perfection(99% of the time) this dish just tastes so right I could eat it forever. The place is a gem. We’re really lucky here in federal way to have this place.

I can’t believe I’ve lived in Federal Way for this long and yet it’s only been recent that I had my first fish taco at Los Bigotes. It’s real friendly and homey up in here! You feel like you’re in Mexico. It’s small, but homey and it can’t get more authentic then this. To be honest, I’ve only had their fish and shrimp tacos but I’m not sure if I need to try anything else because it is literally the best tacos I’ve had… ever. Each taco is filled with the meat, in this case shrimp and fish. The shrimp and fish comes with different sauces, both a mixture of creamy/spicy and truly, it’s so good! Give me 3 of these and I’m set. They have lunch menu that offers combinations with rice, beans, and a drink for around $ 8 – 9. DEALS! They have a salsa bar that’s seriously legit. You got your radishes, pickled carrots, onions and jalapenos as well as multiple different salsas to choose from. Very conveniently located, easy for refils. Come here if you want real authentic mexican food! Can’t go wrong. The staff is also very very friendly. :)

wow, this place is hidden but very yummy. So, i’m from Federal Way but live in Seattle now but will go back a couple times a month to see my family. My grandfather loves Mexican food so I Unilocaled Mexican and found this place. This place is great. its small and hidden. All the times I’ve been here I’ve gotten the molcajete because 1. its huge 2. it’ll feed 3 – 4 people 3. you get a bit of everything 4. comes out in a big hot stone bowl. It also comes with two plates of rice and beans which is a staple for Mexican food that I love. the molcajete comes with steak, chicken, sausage, shrimp, grilled green onions, peppers and roasted jalapenos. We order an extra serving of tortillas and this’ll feed 4 people. its that big. Service is great. the place can get a little hot but there is outdoor seating. They have a salsa bar as well and I love the guac salsa but dang, it is spicy

My gawwwwd… I don’t even know where to begin. It is soooooo goooood here!!! Recommend by my fellow Unilocaler Ken L., this little hole in wall is the BEST, most authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had in Washington… Maybe ever. Thanks Ken! My love and I went here after an exciting day at Wild Waves and I still think about it monthly. Since that day we have been to the one in Tukwila but it’s not as good as the Federal Way location. When you first arrive you notice that it’s so unassuming. Just a small place on the side of the road, if you aren’t looking you could miss it. When we got there we grabbed a seat and out server came over and took our order. We ordered the Tri Color, the Whole Fried Tilapia, and a bunch of Tacos. First of let me just say everything was amazing. The Tri Color was a little bit of everything. A Chile Relleno, a tamale and an enchilada all on one plate sauced in colors of the Mexican Flag and served with rice and beans. It was all delicious but my favorite was the tamale. Omg the masa was on point and the flavors were just wonderful. I also like that they didn’t bombard everything with cheese. This is the perfect dish to get if you can’t decide what you want. The Tilapia was awesome. Light, crispy and juicy. Perfectly cooked. However, the best items we ordered were the tacos. The Chorizo and Tripe Tacos were some of the best tacos I’ve ever had in my life!!! I’ve eaten a lot of tacos in my old age so that’s saying a lot ;) The Chorizo Taco was crispy and juicy. It had the most incredible smoky and intense flavors. The chorizo was seasoned well. The Tripe Taco can be ordered regular of extra crispy. Go for the extra crispy. The Tripe Taco has the best texture I’ve ever experienced while eating a taco. It’s so hard to describe. Crunchy and meaty but soft and unctuous at the same time. The tacos went excellent with the myriad of salsas and little items they had available at the salad bar. The Salsa Negra(the black charred looking salsa) is crack and is the best salsa I’ve ever had. I am trying to recreate it at home!!! If you are ever in Federal Way you must give this little gem a try! Even if your not in the area it is totally worth the drive for those tacos! 5 stars all dayyyy!
