Great Clips

I have had haircuts here before and they were fine. This time there was a 7.99 sale going on. I asked for a #2 on the sides and back and a trim on the top. I am normally not critical as long as I can work with it after the cut. Linh left me with an almost shaved head and I am never coming back. It will grow back, but I am letting everyone know that Great Clips is the worst place ever, especially Hoyt Road SW. I know that the language barrier is part of it, but before it was too late she had shaved up the sides and back in no time.
Don’t do it. It’s not worth waiting for it to grow back. It has been a week and it is still an ¹⁄₈ of an inch.

The older hispanic lady hardly did anything. Spent less than 2 minutes cutting my hair. Wasn’t even straight. I asked for a shrt haircut but she didn’t listen. Will never go back there again. BEWARE!!!

Checked in online with one person in front of me, get there and wait my turn. Person in front of me asks if his wife and get her hair cut too. She jumps in front of me, and they both get their hair cuts before me, turning my 10 minute wait with one person in front, into a 30 minute wait with two people. The whole point of online check in is to avoid sitting around. On top of that, I was told last time that my wife and I couldn’t do two cuts on one appointment. Clearly it’s not their policy, just must have been because I was either young or Mexican, either way it’s disgusting. Just lost a long time customer.

I visit Lynn every month and she does a great job on my hair. As a matter of fact my wife will not let me go anywhere else. She really takes her time and goes the extra mile to make sure I’m pleased.

Girl that cut my hair was nice, but nice doesn’t make my hear grow back. She cut my neck line at a 5 degree angle and couldn’t make it look right after five attempts.

Terrible service by a bunch of unprofessional women. They clearly dont care about the customer. The lady was too busy talking to a friend to help me. She told me it was a 15 min wait. When I returned she said it was now up to 25 because I wasnt on the «list». She forgot to add me and pretended like we never spoke. When I asked for the owner, she acted like great clips wasn’t owned by anyone. They need some serious coaching and training on how to properly speak with customers before they go out of biz.

I’m always apprehensive when ever going into a chain hair salon. You never know what you’ll get because the people change. If you go to this great clips ask for Ann/​Anna? Or Korean lady Kwi… They are consistently good and skilled.

I got a haircut here once because I got a coupon in the mail and have never gone back even though I’m entitled to free haircuts from Great clips through my Sounders season tix once in a while and I prefer to let those freebies go to waste, that says a lot.
From the start of my visit it felt rushed, the lady barely greeted me, asked what I wanted and started brushing my hair to start cutting it dry… I have curly hair so the brushing makes it frizzy, try and cut that!
I had to stop her and tell her she needed to wash and condition my hair, she seemed annoyed at this and I should’ve left then. She rushed me to the sink, washed my hair and then we came back to the chair. The speed in which she cut my hair was both fascinating and horrifying. Thankfully for her I ended up with pretty much the haircut I wanted.
I am not a fan of businesses that clearly are there to only take your money and forget about the customer service part. There’s a Hair Masters not even a block away in the QFC parking lot, they’re nice in there and it’ll cost you about the same.
