For the money, it is a great theater, but make sure you bring a big blanket and a parka because you may freeze your butt off. It took us over a couple of hours to thaw out at home even with the heat on.

I’m giving it five stars because I think it’s a great theatre considering the cost. To watch a 3D movie for $ 4 is a bargain, and the comments about cleanliness were not what we experienced. The sound system is good, but not stellar. Although, again, consider the price!

This theater gets a big thumbs up for being a super reasonable family outing. $ 2 is so doable for the single mom budget. I am very glad to have this option for a get out of the routine evening! With my daughters.

For a $ 2 theater this isn’t bad. Just remember you’re not paying $ 10+ per person & you get what you pay for lol. Sometimes sticky & overcrowded

The projector works, but that’s about it.
You can arrive early for a showing and still miss the beginning of the movie because there’s ONE person running both the ticket and concessions registers. Most of the chairs are broken, everything is FILTHY, from the broken seats and gummy floor, to the bathroom. Many of the bathroom stalls have broken locks, hand dryers are broken (no paper towels, either), some faucets don’t work; all of the theaters smell damp/​moldy, homeless people taking naps in theaters on cold days. Honestly, their sidewalk is cleaner than the interior of the building.
I think I will stick to Redbox.

We just call it $ 2 movie theater. They used to have $ 1 deals on Tuesdays or smth but they ditched that last year. But it’s still pretty cheap and the movies here are about few months old but it’s still worth it watch it here on big screen than waiting for DVD or Netflix. Usually there aren’t many people so you can feel like you booked the theater for your family.

Its a $ 3 movie theater so you get what you pay for. Stale popcorn, uncomfortable and squeaky seats, and all the drinking fountains don’t work. Rude customer service as well. The theater smells and everything just felt so dirty. I doubt they clean the chairs, I couldn’t even touch the arm rests. Don’t think I’ll be coming here again, I would rather wait for redbox or Netflix to release movies.

The only reason why I come here is because the tickets are so cheap. It is always very dirty here… the floor is sticky, the bathrooms are always disgusting and most of the chairs are broken. The hot dogs are bad. the buns are always stale. So as long as you come with low expectations it will be ok.

Nice outing with the kids on a rainy day and if you don’t have much money check it out. Older theater and it shows, but it’s like 3.00 to see a movie.

Super low price to see movies! We always go there now instead of regular cinemas that are 15 dollars per person. 2 dollars is a great price to watch a movie on a giant screen. Highly recommended! :)

The price was right only $ 2.00 each. The popcorn was good and the service was friendly. Tim and I really enjoyed the movie Blended.

$ 2 for a movie that’s been out for a bit after it has it’s first run. Still new to many and new to me when I didn’t make it to a screening or the first run theatre. And it’s only $ 2! On Tuesdays, the price is $ 1!
The theaters are small, with sticky floors and sometimes the movie runs off the side of the screen. However, for a dollar theatre, you get the movie experience, there’s a huge private parking lot and your kids will be entertained for cheaper than a Redbox rental.

For $ 2.00 it is not a bad place — reminds me of the old theaters in Times Square in NYC. Broken seats, sticky floors and bathrooms marginally clean.
Some of the issues are the parking. If it is crowded — you have to find a space that doesn’t say 1 hour parking? Seems like they have too many of those.
Also — they make their money in the Concession stand but we have not purchased things on more than one occasion since the lines were so long — seems like 1 more minimum wage employee would help. The prices in the Concession is not discounted but not more then other Theaters.
The staff is usually friendly and helpful but the low price seems to attract the adults that don’t discipline their kids. More than one time we have had babies crying throughout the show (should be taken to the back) and kids running around during the movie.
It is a cheap theater and I prefer to go to the «real» theaters but if we have the Grandkids and they have a movie we missed — I have no problem going.

OK… so its run down. Yes its older too. But you can have a great boys night out and do back to back movies for a good price. My boys love coming here. We buy tickets for 2 movies each then get a large popcorn and large sodas so we can refill them and then get into movie watching mode. Such a great place to have a good time.

Great family day fun on a rainy day! Cheap yet worth it! Most of the theaters have been updated to the seats are comfortable. Regular movie cost only $ 2.00 and the #D $ 4! Not like paying $ 15/​$ 18 at a «Cinema» around town! You just have to be patient and the movie can be seen for much cheaper!

If you avoid seeing movies when they are first released in the theaters, this is your spot to see them for a great price. First of all, the movies tickets are $ 2/​each everyday except Tuesday when they are $ 1.
I don’t usually wait to see movies but if you are frugally minded, you’ll love this place. Just like any other theater, the food is not great and overpriced. One thing that did bum me out was they didn’t have a icee machine (my favorite).
The seats in many theaters are pretty much broken so find a comfortable one before settling in.

How can you go wrong with only paying $ 2 ($ 4 for 3D) to see a movie on the big screen?! Tuesdays are only $ 1!
This is a theater is a great place to go to save money — you can take your family out and not have to worry about breaking the bank. Don’t expect the concessions to be super cheap though, you’re still paying almost the same price for popcorn & a soda as you would at a different theater.
The theater is not very clean. I’ve seen the counters completely covered with butter and salt and popcorn all over the floors. Huge warning — if you show up a little late for the movie, know that it it extremely dark in there! Last time I couldn’t even see anyone and was afraid I was going to end up sitting on some poor guy! haha… Also on $ 1 Tuesdays and weekends this place is crazy! It’s kinda like the place parents drop off their kids on the weekends… so just beware of how crowded it can be.
Overall I like this place. We tend to save the movies we can live without seeing at the expensive theaters and wait until it comes out here. I’m always excited when a movie shows up here that I’ve been waiting to see :)

$ 2!!! and $ 4 for 3D!!! even if some people think the concessions are expensive, it’s still worth it when normal ticket price is $ 10? even AMC matinée went up to $ 6.50!
I got a hotdog for a $ 1 though, AMC charges $ 4 – 5? popcorn was about average and the drinks too so I still think overall it’s a great deal.
the movies are older but if you miss it and before it hits DVD and still want to see it on the big screen, then you can catch it here.
yes, the theatre is a little older, seats are bit worn but the floors weren’t bad. I see them come clean after each showing. It does get crowded but lines move pretty fast.
oh and it is super dark. I went in after a movie started and couldn’t see crap. the so-​call floor lighting or that reflective tape or whatever is probably so worn out by now, might be a good idea to change that folks! I was thinking about using my cellphone but sure other patrons wouldn’t appreciate it so I stood there waiting for my eyes to adjust so I can sit in an empty seat and not on someone’s lap.
oh I don’t usually go in the evenings, once or twice and have parked in that dark area in the back… felt fine but yeh I can see how that can be scary. Often go in the afternoons on the weekend, still a great deal!

As other Unilocalers have mentioned, this is not the cleanest place on earth, the concessions are pricey and not everything works right. However, this is a theatre where you can take a family of 4 to see a first run movie for less than the full admission at a fancier theatre. Now, the movies are at the end of their first run, but they are usually not out on DVD yet, and you can also see movies in 3D. Oh, and did I mention you can still take a family of 4 to see a 3D flick for less than full price admission at an upscale theatre? Oh yeah…
On Tuesdays, as mentioned previously, regular showings are $ 1 and 3D are a dollar off for a total of $ 3 per ticket. Parking on the India Grill /​Marlene’s side can be tight. If you park on the scary, poorly lit side where the Azteca used to be, be aware of your surroundings. They do have a lot of security patrolling in the evening, which is nice.
If you go during the day, often there’s a few homeless folks sleeping in the theatre. It’s an inexpensive way to get out of the elements and catch a nap. In the winter, it’s not necessarily warm in the theatre. I’ve gone to a movie here before and had to wear a hat, gloves and coat throughout the movie. I just pretended it was the drive-​in =)
I appreciate having a place to catch a movie I am excited about instead of having to wait for it to come out on DVD. Plus, it’s great I can take my whole family to the show without having to sell a kidney to buy tickets.

Old theater in Federal Way which offers older «still in theater» movies. Immediately saw a long line of people waiting for tickets and even more little kids runnin around. The line moved pretty fast and my wife and I bought our tickets for «The Watch.»
The actual theater looked unkept and the first two seats we chose were broken — we looked past it and found two fucntioning seats directly behind. A very strange thing happened next, as the lights dimmed (signaling the start of the movie) nothing happened. The entired theater literally sat in pitch black darkness for about 5-​minutes before the screen turned on… that didn’t sit too well with me… the accent or floor lights weren’t even on!
At $ 2 a ticket ($ 1 on Tuesdays) and $ 4 for a 3D movie, you can’t really gripe about the little things. If you can deal with the people and kids walking up and down the isles for the ENTIRE movie and the symphony of squeaking seats then its well worth the price of admission.
