I agree! Do not hire him! we hired him in 2013 to lay our hardwood floors and refinish them, he said he would be doing the work but soon we found he had some other people doing it. when the hard wood was down and ready for the sanding and refinishing once again another person did this it took them several times to do this process and then there was spots that did not cover and when they came into fix these spots they are now discolored and do not match the rest of the floor. when I tried to call him he said he would be out to look at it and he never came out. We payed good money for crappy work, and now we have to have them done again.

Do NOT hire Florin! He does horrible work, is a poor communicator, and will not fix his mistakes.
We hired him to install laminate flooring in our basement. At first, he was very responsive to phone calls. The day before he was supposed to install or floors, we could not get a hold of him to set a time for him to come– despite multiple text messages and phone calls. At 10pm that night, he contacted us to say that he couldn’t come the next day and would have to delay an additional day. We had misgivings as to whether or not to continue the job with him (because who calls at 10pm to cancel on a next day appointment??) but he apologized for not getting back to us earlier, so we decided to still have him install our floors (BIG MISTAKE!!!)
Just 3 weeks after the floors were installed, it started buckling. There are now huge air pockets underneath the laminate floor. We have tried this entire week to call him, text him, leave voice messages and he does not all us back. My husband even tried using his work number to call Florin today and Florin actually picked up– then HUNG UP on my husband when he found out who he was.
Now, we have to hire someone else to fix the floors. Florin had previously promised that if anything was ever wrong with the floor, he would come and fix it. Obviously he does not stick to his promises after he had your money.
Our main problem with him is not that he made a mistake, but that he is refusing to own up to it and fix it, and that he is purposely ignoring all our attempts to contact him (which he showed by hanging up on my husband)
Please please do yourself a huge favor and do not hire him. You will be sorry you did. Please choose a real professional that takes pride in his work and actually cares about customer service.
