Not the most scenic trail but good enough to get a decent run or walk in. Most of it is paved but you can walk through rocky trails if you want to «rough» it. There’s some pretty decent inclines for a little challenge. Be prepared to walk by lots of power lines. Plenty of parking at the nearby celebration park or aquatic center depending on which end you decide to start at. Decent number of pedestrians but not the busiest of trails. I happen to like it that way because it’s not over crowded. There’s just enough people so I don’t feel like someone will jump out and rape or stab me.

Good trail for locals if you don’t mind dogs everywhere. I saw a few ‘off leash’ because the owners don’t want to abide by the laws and rules clearly laid out throughout the trail access points. Dogs on leash here. I can’t stand people who think they are hiding behind the brush on either the paved or dirt trail. If I could see you… others can too. This ruined it for me with dog crap everywhere. Can you imagine the fleas that will be out in full force? I would make sure the dog is checked for heartworm with as many animals I saw out there just today alone. The trail wasn’t created for your pet. It was for people but you are allowed to bring a pet if you abide by the rules. If you can’t.let the dog take a dump in your yard. Disappointed at the garbage left behind and broken glass shards throughout trail. Wear a closed shoe. People just don’t care. Selfish! There are some trash recepticles at the trail head but not much during the route. You can walk up to 6.6 miles if I you set out at the beginning of either end of the trail and not at a mid way access point. It has some inclines and downhills but most folks can manage it. You will have neighborhoods on both sides of you, cross over a few roads and walk alongside mammoth sized power lines. There were several folks out on bikes and some couples with child in stroller. You will find bench rest areas along the way but Dont expect fabulous views. Look at this as a suburban trail experience. I would like to go back and begin at the Celebration Park side of trail but probably won’t go back after that. I felt like I was in a dog park.
