Really good Belgian waffle. Great place to go if your SO is in the salon next door and your bored.

Love this coffee shop. Not only is the coffee delicious but the staff is great also. They have a wide range of other items to eat also, sandwiches, waffles bar, gelato etc. They also host community networking events and have paint and sip events at this location.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Coffee is phenomenal and the customer service is out of this world! A must stop for any coffee lover.

B&R Espresso continues to impress. The staff is top notch — the coffee delicious, flavorful and prepared to exact specifications. There is no guessing on quality — it is going to be the best. Rochelle continues to evolve the business and has recently begun offering beer & wine. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff knows your name and is always willing to engage in banter. Chain stores be damned, B&R is the type of business you should cry for in your neighborhood — they help create the fabric of something vibrant. Keep it up!

WOW their soy chai latte was the best I’ve ever tasted — and I have lived in the Seattle area all my life so I’ve tried many! The only way I can describe it is a cookie flavor, like snicker-​doodle (cinnamon, etc) and a thick, creamy consistency… even with soy! I wish I lived closer, but it’s probably for the best because buying as many as I wanted would make me bankrupt!

Even though I live in Seattle. When I head south. I always stop in at B&R Espresso Bar. Best coffee in town.

Delicious coffee, delicious food, and such friendly baristas. They know everyone’s name, and always greet with a smile. I love their veggie sandwich and chai lattes!

i love their wide selection of coffee drinks, and their awesome selection of pastries. i haven’t tried any of their pastries, but next time i’m here, i definitely will — their scones are HUGE. the only reason why this place didn’t get 5 stars from me was that their chai tea latte was way too sweet, and was made out of powder. and what the heck is spiced chai tea? isn’t that redundant? anyway. the barista was super sweet, and offered me a drink caddy since i had ordered a caramel macchiato for my boss. she also differentiated the drinks with a sticker on top, and offered drink stoppers as well.

Great coffee, tasty sandwiches, warm, personal service and an inviting, relaxing environment. Add to that it’s an independent shop run by people who care and you’ll want to keep coming back until you’re uncomfortably full and comfortably caffeinated.

The best part about this place is the staff… Love how they remember your name and your preferences! The ICED Chai Tea is sooo addictive, just ask my sister Jacqui who’s there every-​other day for one :). Me, I love the oatmeal and an earl gray tea. Get this place into your morning routine, it’s a great way to start your day!

1 star for the coffee… carmel machiato. so bad i had to throw it out when i got to work.5 stars 3 stars f o r the waffle. waffle took 1 5 min or more to make. Berries for topping were still ice cold and bits were frozen. This was in my opioion a poor first impression. went to check it out based on 5 star reviews on Unilocal

Great place! They serve really tastey coffee and I don’t have to wait forever for it either. I have never seen this place look anything but spotless. On the weekends they have a waffle bar and I think they do a paint night there as well. I def recommend this place if you are in the area!

I went there a few weeks ago and ordered an iced chai tea, it was really good. There was only one person working there and we ordered three drinks and it did take a while. One of the drinks had a long strand of hair in it, and let the Batista know, which he was nice to remake the drink.
It’s a tad expensive there, almost $ 5 for a 12oz drink. I would like to try other things there, maybe a food item next time.

Visiting B &R Espresso for the first time on a Sunday morning, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The café is not big at all, it’s small but has couple of tables as well as single seatings. Sundays, they have a self serve waffle bar. I ordered a waffle, TBA sandwich, and a carmel macchiato.
Waffle: The waffle bar consists of blue berries, strawberries, whipped cream and syrup that you can self serve. It was delicious! At $ 5, I couldn’t really complain. Yum.
TBA: DELICIOUS! Tomato, Bacon, Avocado and cream cheese spread. AKA TBA on a chiabatta bread. it was toasty, warm and delicious. Came with side baby carrots and pickles.
Caramel Macchiato: Very good. Came in a cute mason jar cup, and though it was mighty sweet, I really enjoyed it.
I can’t wait to come back and try out their other drinks! Excited to find a legit café so close to my house!
TLDR: Extremely friendly staff, Delicious sandwiches, legit coffee, and cute space to study or catch up with friends.

A new favorite spot near the office :) The owners and staff are very friendly. Clean and has an outdoor seating area. Came here a few weeks ago with my boyfriend and tried their breakfast sandwiches. Mine was an egg, cheese, & bacon on a jalapeño bagel… made FRESH and it was delish!
Decided to come by for lunch and tried one of their gourmet ciabatta sandwiches; specifically the RURU’s TBA (turkey, bacon, avocado).oh so good & filling. I paired this with an iced caramel macchiato. In which almost makes me want to skip Starbucks in the morning and go here moving forward…

I believe this shop is under new management? I am not sure but I think they changed their name within the last year. It’s small, quaint and quite relaxing. The employees have always been very nice and sweet. I’ve only ordered americano’s and the vanilla and chocolate frappes. I think the prices are normally (more than I think coffee should cost but the norm none the less) I have been very pleased with all that I have purchased.
As the weather warms they have put out some tables and chairs in which to enjoy the nice weather. My boyfriend and I have taken to walking here on the trail just behind the strip mall and grabbing a frappé. They have a nice little sandwich menu as well as breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, and a small pastry and tea selection. I look forward to ordering food but have been hesitant because this far, all my coffee orders took quite awhile to make. It’s really my only complaint, they’re just slow, so if you’re in the mood to chill out, maybe read a book or do some homework GREAT! If you’re in a hurry this may not be the place for you.

A real café in Federal Way?
Cafés aren’t federal ways forte, let’s be honest. So to find one that not only offers a fair amount of drinks but paninis and bagels as well is a total win. To make it even better, ITS NOT A DRIVE THRU!!! It’s a legitimate, you-​have-​to-​walk-​in-​and-​communicate-​with-​real-​people café. What a concept. I love it. The sandwiches are tasty, I love their tea selection and they serve Belgian waffles with a waffle bar on Sundays. Definitely worth stopping in for :)

We use to come here under the previous owner but sometime in the last 5 or so months ownership changed. Not a bad thing but I will miss the previous owner.
We had an Almond Mocha and Hot Chocolate and both were very good. They had sugar free Almond and Mocha which is a added plus for me.
They do have a nice selection of pastries from muffins (Costco type) to other choices of delicious pastries. They also offer sandwich’s for lunch.
The interior is comfortable although they only have 4 or so tables but there is a counter.
Now for the important question (to me) — did they do the coffee the way I like it — YES they severed it in a regular cup (not paper) plus their was a drawing of a leaf on the top. PERFECT. The only issue was the server/​owner put the coffee sideways so I first thought there wasn’t a design. But all was good
